Tapo Camera

Nice image terrib sound! No clear TUTORIAL which setting for what is, and how to use/ handle the videos. In case of burglary, where/how to save /store the incident video. I wasn't able to find out how to take pictures? When I switch between Home and Away mode, it is changing automatically all settings so every time I switch must start over all settings! In case of electricity or internet interruption, all settings are gone... Taping on alert, not always connects with the app

Have two cameras, first struggled a bit to connect one of the cameras to the app. No biggie. Second was like a breeze after learning how to do it. But now after some updates the app just says Add camera +, so i have to close the app and enter again until something appears. I'm very pleased with the cameras and the functionality but the app is lacking.

First camera set up easy as did the other two, however after 3 hours the first camera lost its picture and said it was offline. I had to reset and reinstall it then the app started hanging. Spent a lot of time getting it going but now it appears to be working ok. I fitted one SD card and whilst it works it shows as not installed.

Working well on my network. Having some issues with SD card but I'll sort them out. APP allows viewing on my older tab S as well as note 8. Night viewing is excellent and I can watch my pups and even talk to them via the app. So far very satisfied. Now next is to integrate it with Alexa.

Works as expected. Very good for a cheap camera. I wish there was a way to disable the infrared leds because they reflect on glass when looking out, and I have a separate ir illumator. I'm in a rented house so can mount external cameras so taping over the lights + separate ir illumator is my only solution.

Cannot connect to C200. I opened the Tapo camera app, logged into my TP-Link account, click on "+", chose C200. Led on the camera is blinking red/green and I can see the camera's WiFi network appearing in the app. After tapping on the network ID, there is a spinning animation, but could not connect my phone to the camera. Please help!!!!!

Pretty good app! Motion detection is great. Using it as a baby cam. Would be good if the camera thumbnail updated when you go to the main screen. It only shows the last image you viewed in the app.

After fixes, app works very well, great value between c200 and this software. Well done. Old review before fixes: "This app is unusable, the moment I try to review recorded video it logs me out saying it has been awhile since i entered my password. It's been 30 seconds."

App fails to replay at anytime select, automatically selects/snaps motion event and not a perferred time. Playback quality rubbish, even on a 5G router. Even with good connection signal over wifi, unable to select specific times.

Good app but time schedule can only be set for camera alert but not the motion detection notification. These two features should work hand in hand together to prevent unnecessary notification when motion is detected.

Generally good. Would like to have automatic video sent to my phone on motion detection and ability to link up with outside security camera.

Apps work great. Notifications for Motion Detection doesnt work anymore. Tried Rebooting/OnOff/Reinstall still doesnt work. Camera only 2days old. :(

After a few attempts and help from the tplink help line to setbup, the Cameras work great. Must update firmware as well. Very happy with the TAPA C200 cameras and app.

App is slow to connect (have fibre connection and all other apps connect quickly). Under Android 10 when in Live mode, after 30 seconds phone reboots.

This is complete bogus and nowhere near security. Consider not to make people register and send data to your server if they just want to connect a phone with a camera...

Cannot check today's notifications. Choosing today showing nothing, previously works fine if you chose today by date. Now no more working. Rubbish until someone fix that issue.

Audio can be improved but otherwise value for money. Images are clear. A little laggy sometimes but that's probably my 4g connection.

Brilliant app to view cameras when on holiday and out and about. Sd card needed to save memory. Very good and happy with my purchase

Bad. Very slow loading when you are outside. This happen after the update.

Updated software now adds more bugs like an inability to stop notifications even when turned off.

Easy app. Works well. I am amazed i now have remote access to see what my dog is up to for under £30. Well done tplink

Affordable, responsive, simple to use, easy to install.. What else do you want? Buy it!

everything is ok but live view sound can't stop or mute & eco problem ... But all over very nice ...

So far so good. The controlling and respond of the camera is excellent.

This app is far better than the another Tapo app. Working smoothly but why it always suggest us to download it.
