Update: figured it out, love the app. I purchased the app, love what it does. However when i sync with other device it shows i need to "purchase" the license. It won't let me schedule or anything on other devices only the original one where i purchased. Can you schedule and accept payments on more than one device?
Tapstyle is the best hair salon app on the play store. There are lots of other i chechk few but this is best..

I don't know why people are bitching so much. it does what it says and for 15.00 a mouth what do you want . personally I love the app and would not want anything to change .

Sadly I must change my original rating of 5 stars. The most recent update is interfering with my client base. I've emailed and received no response. Appt reminders are no longer automatic and even when sent manually some clients still aren't receiving it and are no-showing. I'm very unhappy with the lack of response from support. Why do I pay for this? I will return my stellar review once the changes have been made and someone has followed up with me. This app is quickly becoming not worth it
We have 200 services listed in this app but when I go for booking appointment, I don't have an option to search a service by typing it. I have to scroll school and scroll. Many more features are missing. If the company calls me then I can share 50 more features this app can include. More images for all kind of services, spa service photos can be included
Although with all the updates I still can't get a clear view of Appointment requests, and the fact that online is shows I'm clear all day. Which for new clients, it seems like I'm lying. I wish I could click, view, and contact just like I would be able to in an existing client profile. Used to be able to access online, my phone blew up and i cannot access my clients info to reschedule. What happened? Your prices went up, and my accessibility went down. And it is not compatible with the Kindle, can't access it in my daughters iphone either . where's the back up
I love the app only thing is when u get a new online booking client it won't register from there I have to write the information and do it manually... Kinda time consuming and would like for my clients to see schedule to stop double booking ...
I want to try it but I see it want work with my computer and it has to be a certain Epson Printer, meaning I would have to purchase another printer beside the one I just purchased. Can this be fixed, I really like the program.
Not the best app for what I want, but the other apps like this charge for the services I don't bed. I just want a client record, nothing else. UPDATE: Nevermind, it didn't even have what I'm looking for.
I wish this could integrate with Facebook also to expand the marketing options.
How do you turn off the receipt
I just updated to the latest TapStyle version (3.1.2), and now I can't perform a checkout for any saved appointment! The only actions available from the Booking/Appointment for a client's service menus are Cancel, Delete, Save, and Service Record. Please fix ASAP!

As a former software support engineer, would it not be more efficient on a shared database to have the license generator to populate the database with a secured data file, which could then validate all access points to the shared database? Licenses would then not be dependent on where or what account it was generated from. The 'Restore Auto Renewal License Transaction' would then have a genuine purpose, instead of just being a pacifier (essentially a non-functional button)!
Luv the concept of this app. Lots of improvements have been made. Very happy with it.
Tested the app just now. I liked how almost every feature I wanted is included here. The user interface/design could use a bit more tweaking. making it more minimalistic in terms of design would do the trick to make it more professional looking. (current design reflects a more childrens' game feel to it). more icons to choose for the services like - eyelash extensions, perm, gel polish etc... option to add commissions for stylists. label for nail technicians not just for stylists. maybe a version for laptop
Great concept but 1-Cannot sync with Google calendar. Was working and now is not. 2-Customer service takes a while and when you do speak to them thru Facebook messenger, its hard to understand, the instructions are vague and not precise. A lot of pronouns are used so not sure what is being said. also instead of saying "device" they say "for example, tablet....when it could mean any device.... 3-Cannot sync with PC as stated in the ad. If so, I cannot find out how. 4-I am not receiving sms reminders to my phone. When I do the test, it works but when I set an actual appointment, it does not. I hope they can correct this soon, other wise, its not worth my $15 ( not $14 as stated) for the extra features that do not work. Too bad.....
Good app over all, its not got enough room for formulas, can't sync with other devices, and can't get help to do so. I have emailed several times to get help ,then to cancel never get responses,after weeks and several email. Tap style get it together and you might be able to keep your customers
I love this app. It took a bit of getting used to having used another app for many years. The reason I changed was because this app records what clients brought as well as services, something which is important for follow up sales. For the price this is very good value and has many of the features of much more expensive booking software. There are a few processes that could be made quicker but overall very happy.
