Since my last visit to the zoo the app is vastly improved! Responsive UI, I love that when I open the app, it prompts me the info for the closest attraction. The only disappointment (and hence 3 stars), is the information for the shows is not accurate. The app has limited use without that information
big load time for the app, every time you open it, so you can't just keep the map open and go back to it. interactive map has issues. it showed my position but showed none of the map information. when I clicked on the i icon, loads nothing. waste of time and data. paper map was much better
Initially we were excited about the app and keen to use all the great features. Unfortunately it kept crashing and closing down saying something about being unable to contact host. So we relied on the paper map.
This app was unusable. The map was not useful at all. I expected it to be a bit more interactive but it was just a static map. I tried to use some of the bluetooth functionality but it just didnt work. I have a pixel 4 so there were no problems with the phone. I just gave up and moved on.
We are preparing to visit Taronga Zoo on Saturday and want to plan our day but the app won't let me create my 'must do' list by 'adding' any animals to it. I tap on the heart shape under each animal but nothing happens. The only thing it will add are the 'shows' under 'what's on'. Please fix!
Takes a bit of time to boot up on Oppo R9, not sure if it's a performance issue for older phones. If you left it open for too long, the phone gets pretty hot.
maps won't load. initially asked me to calibrate compass, did so no change. panels slides up or across deoening on how you attemot to trigger the maps then slides back.
App just keeps closing on my Samsung Galaxy 9+ I can't get passed the opening page as it automatically closes the app. Very disappointed as wanted to use app for our visit on the weekend 😑
have a Samsung Galaxy D S9, downloaded the app but it refuses to install. Kept repeatedly saying “Unable to contact host” despite having internet connection and following all the instructions
Looked promising but took forever to open or load anything. I ended up just using a paper map.
The newest version of the app is a huge improvement! Well worth downloading for your day at the zoo

Could use a UI refresh as navigation can be confusing. For example, when looking up events, it'd be nice to use the whole screen to navigate instead of 2/3 of the screen. Also got a few server not found error messages while using app. And while at the zoo, there was a 1p seal show that wasn't shown in the app. I only happen to pass by it while awaiting the 2p show that was shown in app

Major missing feature, saved items appear only in list form. They do not show on the map. The zoo is big and tiring to get around, especially with children. Distance between activities is at least as important as times, to plan a smooth visit. Please add a map that shows saved items.
