I have my own tarot deck and got this as something to use in a pinch and for reference/practice. While I am happy about the card descriptions and graphics, I could not get over the fact that I drew two of the same cards twice in the same reading (temperance and the wheel of fortune ironically) which does not happen with a real deck. If that can be fixed, I think it could be a really fun app.
The descriptions of the meanings of each card are beautifully written, concise, and made it easy for me to learn tarot for the first time. (There are a few minor typos which could be tidied up) This app is a great way to take a break and clear a path for my intuition to speak to me without having a deck of cards on hand.
Maybe this is all just nonsense, but do I care. No not at all.The cards I drew made so much sense to me, I intend to soak up the meanings and act on their advice. The descriptive meanings are beautiful and apply to most of our lives, in that we should all stop for a moment and look into our magical selves and feel who we are.
I use this app when I'm feeling conflicted and need some insight. Every single time I use it, it's relatable to my issue. It's entirely possible that all cards can relate to all issues, but my experience and intuition tell me that if I find an answer that takes me in a positive direction for my highest good then it works well for me.
While I like the way the app explains the Celtic Cross layout and the meanings of each card in it's position. I do not like at all how it just lists them in a row but never gives u at least the placement of that card when u look at it so u aren't definitely sure where that card lays. It should show the cards layed out in placement face up or down & allow us 2 view them closer when we pick them in order.
This app is definitely a keeper. I was very much so impressed with how relatively capatible each card pertained to my life and some obstacles that I'm currently facing. This app Is full of information and loaded wIth well explained details. Making the overall outcome interesting, fun, yet quite reassuring.
So far I have only ever seen the first however many high cards, not a single 4 of pentacles or any like that. Also the second half of the cross is locked out, no explanation of this in the app, just randomly show you previous cards. Definitions are excellent though
Wish I could go back one step or two, without losing the entire reading! wish I could save the readings. & I wish I could go back to the reading page where the layout is and re-tap the cards and reread them. otherwise the display the cards are beautiful cards there just traditional Tarot, and the animation is cool. just gotta change those things for me to give it 5 stars.
Nicely Detailed + Descriptive. User Interface can be Frustrating though, could better app toward a more user friendly experience. Such as *when using celtic cross layout, enabling user to seek reference by the 'back button' without losing current card in reading + preventing user the need to draw another which replaces original drawn. Thank you, find the content valuable + helpful
As a single card draw this app works fairly well. As a Celtic cross draw the app does not work. It draws each card individually but it does not keep the same cards. In fact I pulled the high priestess 2 times in the same reading. When I tried to go back to the original position where the card came up I got an entirely different card. You can't have a complex card reading if you have the potential to pull the same card in multiple places in that reading.
Very impressed. Asked initial question with no expectations but I think it accurately gave me some sound advice; actually, I was gonna do it anyway despite the fact it's not what I really want to do, and it basically stated my current state of mind on the subject including the fact that I'd rather not. Lol. Hence I gotta give it 5☆'s
However it only uses the major arcana in the readings and you can turn over the same card twice in a reading which is impossible in a normal deck reading, this occurs in the 2nd half of Celtic Cross reading. Also the meaning of the cards isn't altered by their placement in the spread, you get the same description each time. I did like the written descriptions of the cards themselves.
Maybe the cards are written to were they cover every sub although I dnt c it..its weirdly accurate like point on now some things I don't know if its right BC I dnt read minds but I think of a q. N it explains exactly what I c as a logical answer its pretty cool thanks for this
I've been a tarot reader for over 10years, and I Love the convenience of being able to do self readings when using a physical deck isn't practical. The card meanings are mostly spot on, and breaking down the symbols and questions for introspective analysis are very helpful and relevant.
I felt the flow of the words, the cards are explained very well and the questions to ask yourself are really awakening. It's hard to answer questions people don't always ask, but this let's you questions yourself and help identify your own path. I honestly love it and will continue to use it through realization and relaxation
It's quite a lot of fun, and also accurate in the surprising way such things can be. My only issue is the way the opening screen is laid out, and a little of the overall clarity in navigation. I'd have given this 4.5 stars if I could, and really it pretty much deserves 5 because it's probably such a minor issue.
I get extremely relevant and accurate answers from these'cards'.I am very experienced with Tarot, and I have to say this is probably the best tarot app I have tried. I gave it four stars because it lacks spreads and options-- but if you want clear and accurate answers to your questions, this is so good it's almost scary.
It told me no lies as to who I am, where I am, and those important people in my life, and where I'm headed. . . It's nice to know there's spiritual guidance out there, it actually opens your eyes and your mind to life lost due to one's lack of spiritual knowledge that we all possess in our path of life we somehow loose sight of, but you'll know when and how, try it you won't be disappointed" )
I don't really believe in any of this at all, however the whole concept of tarot cards is very interesting. this app is strangely accurate, but besides all the hocus pocus rubbish I also gives some good advice, especially in terms of clearing your mind/ looking towards your goals and what's hindering you :)
In epic ways I thought of one thing one person couldn't pin point any one question. It blew my n my bestfriends minds as it not only covered that subject but covered ones I've been battling made me tear up with the nail on intensity of its description....
While I know there's nothing mythical about these cards, I always seem to get exactly the right card to lead me towards the right questions I need to be asking my self. Just a silly way to gain introspection. Great tool to really make you realize what you already knew and wanted.
I don't know about this card reading and I have no trust on this but all of this if my life is going to improve or if I get some achievement then definitely I will trust on this and on my god, so my finger crossed and who is tarot cards readers plzz help me plz pray to god.... amen thank u.
Gives decent card/image definitions and interpretation. Seems to run a random draw...better if used once for each conception or reading need. Still a fan of real cards, but this app is really gleaning from the major arcana....so has its expected generalizations. Nice for quickies and those who need a familiarization with tarot!
I thought id give it a go and expected it to be pretty random and vague but my 1st question and card was eerily accurate ..... only time will tell wether its just repetative but for now im definately impressed... cant seem to find any horoscopes on it though
What this tarot card does is just tell you what all the cards in the arcana means. It didn't answer or doesn't offer any guide other than randomly choose a card for you and tell you what is the card about. There's also a part where "The Fool" card interpretation is accidentally copy pasted in "The Empress" card interpretation. That's misleading, lol.
At first I thought this deck has beAutiful detailed descriptions of the cards. I love them but that was when I did a single card draw. Then, I had to go out of the app and when I went back in there was no way of searching for individual cards and their meanings. Then I did a Celtic cross spread and I got the first two down and then when I got to the 3rd card it was the same as my first card. Then if you hit the first card again it could change to a different card. The spread doesnt remain the same.
It's an incredibly poorly designed app. It's impossible to get back to the main menu after a reading without exiting completely. The "Celtic Cross" spread is completely inaccurate in the specific meanings of each position, if you can even call it a position. Instead of displaying the cards you have a listed with numbers and then the supposed "position" of the card that in no way match the actual position meanings for a proper Celtic Cross.
Its just OK... Nothing especially appealing or special about it.. Pretty plain design which makes it a bit boring.... Not alot to choose from and lastly, readings seem generalized and impersonal and if you try to go back to a card in a reading (like to the outcome card after you viewed another card) then it will switch up to a totally different card which is a bit confusing
This is a great conversation starter for friends at a party and lots of fun for everyone. Sometimes amazing how it seems to fit a person's situation. However, I trust my fate to my own decisions; though I admit the warnings and guidance help me focus more clearly on what questions I may truly be looking to have answered.
