I'm provided a three-star review because the app did not do what it should do on my phone. I have an LG G8. However, I realize that while it might not work on my phone, it may work on others. Every app I selected not to start, started without a problem. Leaving system apps out of this review, downloaded apps are the ones to which I'm referring. It just doesn't work on this particular phone, or maybe Android version 9.
great app man! lgg6 running havoc 2.9 android pie. been using this app for two months to limit apps running in background and set themselves at startup. last test stop apps from startup, restart and check running apps on dev mode, same list. minus 1 star because the app setting button doesn't show anything and since I have ghost screen the absence of dark mode gives me prolonged ghost screen after opening the app. Other than that, I'm quite glad with this app. Keep up the good work!
This app literally gave me my phone back. My phone has been slow and running at 60 degrees c for months. Shutting itself down and has been generally unusable. Found this app. Disabled everything that I don't need constantly running, and now it's buttery smooth, and cool to the touch again. Restored my sanity. MUST HAVE APP.
This is the best! Gives you granular control over startup apps. You'll be surprised by how much junk starts up automatically and that has no business doing so. But be careful: before disabling any system apps from starting automatically, search on what they are by typing in the com.appinfo.appname into startpage/ddg/google that this utility shows for it. Great potential to reduce bloatware.
The app immediately closes whenever I try to run it, saying it's parsing running processes which may take 15 seconds. But no matter how long I wait, the next time I try to start the app the same thing happens. Unusable.
Did exactly what I wanted it to do, manage startup apps. I have not rooted my phone so I can't speek about the task management. Overall, great app! I do happen to know it didn't show every startup app but I could only find one (Zorin connect)
this actually works on Android Pie if you have the xposed framework (magisk version)!!! Thanks much!!! I will upgrade to 5 the second there is a search function with both package and app names ... I've got hundreds of apps today I wanted to stop this "tencent" package on xiaomi devices but it was taking too long to read every app and pkg name to find it.
I cant say for sure if its a good app or not. But when I give root access, the app closes with a toast about waiting 15 seconds. The next time the app didnt show me any activity. Just this toast. Even after reboot. Android 11. Design is soft and nice. ++
this app great to disable apps when phone start, this app will make your phone response faster, i recommned for slow phones, plus+ we need choice to select all apps to disable it from autostart not one app by one app because this will take long time [for dev dont destroy it this app, keep update it as slow but at high quality, thanks].
Thank you so much for fixing my phone, i thought i have virus because it was so laggy, is disable 10+ apps that running in startup which is making my phone lag, again THANK YOU SO MUCH, I HOPE YOU ALWAYS BLESSED BY GOD ♥️♥️♥️ if only i can give you 100 stars, i will give you a million
Thanks for adding search function. I was just wishing it had search. To be honest I'm not positive if it's really stopping all the services so that's something I'll have to double check before updating my review.
Will not allow me past the ROOT PERMISSION TIPS popup. If I tap OK it opens a feedback dialog, and whether I send feedback or not when the feedback screen is dismissed the ROOT PERMISSION TIPS screen reappears, stealing the focus from doing anything in the app.
Can't open it. Every time I tap the icon it opens, minimises and shows a toast message. I can't configure anything. Uninstalling.
Great app. Speeds up phone by being able to disable all the junk running that is not needed. No ads either. Great!
After setting which apps i don't want to auto start i restart my phone and it has made a good difference, for that i do recommend it to try, LG, Android 10.
Work fine for LG G6 but not for LG V20. On startup tab, its better you to add APPLY button so process ON and OFF will be faster. This because process after ON or OFF on the app need yo reload.
Disabled several Samsung apps and they're still restarting themselves, even after Forced stops. With your app, and then in developer options, but apps still restart.
I use the boost function before playing games and now my phone does heat up unnecessary. And yh the autostart actually worked.... EDIT... It works great.. pls make it have a one tap boost widget... Pls dev
Needs to allow sorting startup app list, as well as filter disabled/enabled apps. Currently the list order seems random at best.
Crashes the second you try to open the app. Running Android 10 rooted with latest magisk and busybox.
Wanted easy control of starting apps. Not possible.
Brilliant. Easy af to use. I tried many many apps attempting to kill some system apps...tmobile.. lg v60thinq..no problems so far.
Disabled apps continue to start. Tested on a rooted/xposed LG G5 with android 8 (xenonhd). Settings option also does not work.
A soon as you give root permission the application freezes, completely useless.
Being free, I expect SOME Ads, but this app seems to have more than usual.
Can't see running processes. There's only 'Root' button, which I'm granting, but nothing appears. Remains empty.
Fast, looking at all startup apps, 10 I don’t use so I disabled them.
Can not add my app to autostart list, only shows whats already in list, and which you can disable.
After granting root access the app exits on its own (not a crash) which feel incredibly suspicious.
Five Stars! On my aging Android 7.1 tablet, it released (semi-permanently, meaning until I want to change it back) about 30 percent of my total RAM. Some other task manager apps release RAM only temporarily -- this one is much better! Simple UI. You review your start-up apps, decide which are junk and unneeded, then tap and disable those from start-up. Turn off device, then restart. I really needed this!
