App supports subtasks, offers tons of options customizations and works pretty well. However there is a frustrating bug that messes up a task's due date if you edit it by adding a reminder. Would be 5 stars but the app seems to have been abandoned by the developer. :(
This app does what it says but with a huge caveat. It is not at all intuitive. It feels like DOS. Anybody remember DOS? There was one app that is no longer on the store that was so easy to create tasks, subtasks, edit tasks you didnt even need the user guide. If I didnt need this P.O.S I wouldnt own it.
Other to do apps have a Share To option to export to an arbitrary app... this lacks that option. I don't use Google tasks and I don't want to. There is a backup otion but this creates a proprietary binary file, no use for export. Also the only way to view the introductory help again is to clear the app data in Settings, this is a basic fail
Unable to sync, forward as attachment, copy to clipboard, what use is this thing if it can't be accessed across multiple platforms. If the answer is you can do all those things by paying for an upgrade before you verify the thing works as advertised they should just rename it Google Nag.
Using the paid version: I really like the feature set on this software. I consider myself a "smart user" because I'm a programmer myself. I ran into synching problems a few times. I was in touch with the programmer and he took me seriously and made some changes. I think it improved after some updates, and most syncs, even with hundreds of tasks and subtasks - they sync ok, but I get the occasional sync problem and it ain't nice to re-organise your tasks, re-delete ones you've deleted, etc. But trying to move to some other apps, I really think the feature set on this one is the most comprehensive for me and the best thought out. It doesn't mess around with your order and interfere - rather it lets YOU be in control. When sync improves some more, I'll re-rate this app because it truly is among the best.
This app assumes that you use it only on your android phone. If you simultaneously use native Google Tasks (through gmail or calendar) it really messes up when syncing. I've just lost a set of lists that I'd created on Google Tasks but when I synced with this app, it decided that it is the master and deleted those lists. Sync has been a problem and continues to be so. A great UI but that's useless when sync doesn't work. It must cooperate with other methods we use to update out Tasks lists. I suggest developer gets in contact with GTasks developer (appest inc) and join forces. GTasks has sync that works correctly but could benefit with a better UI. I can no longer use this (and I paid for it as well).
Complete control over how each task behaves. No other TM comes close. Used the free version for an hour and paid for pro. Would be nice if you could complete/snooze tasks from the notification bar like on Gtasks....
This app has all the features that I want in a task manager. It integrates with my Calendar App (Pure) as well as allows me to customer its widget to match it. The one drawback I have found so far is not being able to resize the widgets. In this day and age of large HD displays not allowing a user to resize is a little bit of a letdown. If that can be remedied this is a 5 Star app in my opinion.
When my other to do app started spamming ads I went looking and found this. Its great. Love the widget and being able to switch between my to do lists right in the widget is great. Inputting tasks could be a little easier but not an issue as to make the app annoying or anything.
Best App but only problem is preference, setting menu navigation not available in Samsung Galaxy and Note series Mobile because the navigation switch in this mobile acts as split screen activation only. Please solve this issue, after the solution I give 5 star.
This used to be a 5 star app for me. I even paid to go pro. Unfortunately, there is no way to access menu on newer samsung galaxies (used on s4), so I cannot move my MULTIPLE lists over to my s7 or my tablet. No sync. No customization. Try emailing the guy. NOTHING. Not updated since 2012!
The interface is easy to use and it has all the features I wanted and more! Very importantly it can synchronize with google tasks so it's easy to migrate your reminders if you change your phone or the old one is lost or stolen. Plus: you can create your reminders conveniently on your computer.
I have PRO version and was using it for years. App itself is quite good with powerful features. But what drives me nuts is Sync with Google Tasks. Tasks are often deleted, duplicated and sometimes whole list is deleted. If you are unable fix this feature for years, please do not offer it. I currently lost huge list of tasks created via Google Website because of broken syncing in Tasks+. Time to switch to better maintained ToDo app.
2 huge things: 1. Cannot resize the widgets. And they are missing the one size I need. 2. You cannot "complete" the tasks from the widget. They are basically a list. Fix those and I'm back in. Un installed.
I chose this app for the ability to add tasks by voice, which usually works well. One annoyance is there seems to be no ability to default to viewing ALL lists. Just seems like an incredibly obvious feature, and one that's sorely missed.
Inputting tags I'd a little cumbersome. Could more streamlined and user friendly. Also in the widget it does not nest the subtasks underneath the main task and instead lists them as an individual main task which is what I was looking for this application to do.
I was satisfied with Tasks+ until i got Android 7.1.2. on Xiaomi A1-Menu button is not displayed in bottom so it make whole application useless for me as i can not link it yo gmail, display agenda, search... . Can you pls advise how to fix this?
Excellent design, feature rich, and robust! I especially like how Repeating Tasks have several in-depth time management choices. Awesome product design. * * * * * (Enhancement Idea: create a soft-key to access the advanced bottom panel for sync etc., instead of relying on the More Options Menu key on some Android hardware / all Android accessibility ... floating menu)
Really like this app & all of its features, especially the widgets... so much so that I bought the app, but very disappointed with the almost–constant fc'ing every time I edit & save a note, task, or save a setting... If dev ever gets around to fixing these bugs, I'll give it 5 stars & 2 thumbs up!
When I purchased this I was expecting you to fix the notifications and reminder issues. You promised it "soon" but have failed. It's going on years. I deserve my money back as well as all other users.
This app has an abundance of wonderful features which allow the user to customize their tasks so much easier and better than other apps! It is easy to use, and has a beautiful interface! No improvements needed for this one....it's all you need to accomplish your tasks. BEAUTIFUL JOB!
I purchased the pro version of this app. Both the app and widget are highly customizable. The best feature is the widget. I have it set up to be completely transparent except for the settings, add and refresh buttons. I know this hasn't been updated since 2012, but it is still the best!
For those of you who need to subtask this is tour only real option worth a crap.
I've had this for at least a year now on 2 devices. Dreamlike customizability, indispensable, very nice to look at, ideal, except for 1 BIG problem: arrow to change list view is way too tiny & super hard to use!! Resizes easily with GO Launcher. Would love additional muted background colors. I have 3 of these widgets on my tablet, to use for various hats I wear. Thank you for this app, dev!! I'll get the paid version once arrow is fixed. Wouldn't want to use another app, yet it has some issues. 1) Snoozing doesn't always work right. The app will remind you every 10 minutes even though you told it several times to remind you again in 3 hours. 2) For recurring tasks, the app will occasionally skip the next due date so that you miss one reminder. It could be that I'm not experienced enough to use this app, but I doubt that and an app shouldn't be so complicated. 3) It's not possible to use it with 2 Google Tasks accounts at the same time.
I tried about 15 tasks/notes apps and I consider this the best. It is not very intuitive in the beginning, but after getting use to it it is the best. Interactive widgets, fastest sorting and adding tasks,...
I'd be happy if there was a way to complete a main task, without completing all Subtasks within it. 5-stars if you tell me how to :3
This app is very great. It is possible to easily spilt task into sub tasks however it would be nice to see how much a task has been completed. I there is a major update of the app and support for fixes (last update happened last year...) I would certainly pay for the pro version
