Tax Code and Regs - TouchTax
- TouchTax Mobile App (Tax Deskbook App) provides easy and affordable offline access on your tablet or phone to all 7,700+ sections of the latest edition of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the Code), the Treasury Regulations in Title 26 of the Code of Federal Regulations (the Regulations), the Internal Revenue Bulletins since 2003, Circular 230, Revenue Procedures, Revenue Rulings, Notices and Announcements since 2003.
The application’s ultimate goal is to supplement your physical copies of the Code, Regulations and IRBs (Rev. Rul., Rev. Proc., T.D., Temporary Regulations, etc.) and Circular 230 with electronic versions that are up-to-date, while giving you some frequently requested advanced features making it easy to read and manage the law.
The Code and Regulations incorporated into TouchTax are electronic adaptations of the official law published by the Office of the Law Revision Counsel of the United States House of Representatives, the Treasury Department and the U.S. Government Printing Office. As of September 26, 2015, TouchTax contains the latest publications of the Preliminary USC Internal Revenue Code and Regulations (Annual 2015 Edition, with more recent Regulations contained in the Internal Revenue Bulletin until the GPO releases the new annual version of the Regulations). The Internal Revenue Bulletins are updated approximately weekly from the official Internal Revenue Service sources. (Newest Regulations are included in the Internal Revenue Bulletins.)
Also includes easy access to all Revenue Procedures, Revenue Rulings, Notices, Announcements since 2003, as well as Circular 230!
TouchTax is expected to be updated as soon as new versions of the Code and Regulations are made available. Internal Revenue Bulletins, Revenue Procedures, Revenue Rulings, Notices and Announcements are updated approximately weekly and appear automatically on your device (as soon as it's connected to the Internet). Circular 230 contained in TouchTax is the official, final version of Circular 230 (Rev. 6-2014).

The app allows me to quickly check the substance of a Code section or Treasury Regulation.
Well organized. Easy to read. Simple to navigate. I may not use my paper copy again. Much easier to us than CCH or RIA.
Fantastic app and a real bargain for the price. The Code is easy to read and accessing the appropriate regulations is also convenient. Includes legislative history. My only gripe is that it does not have proposed regs that are easy to access. This app sure beats carrying fifty pounds of books.

Well worth the money to have the code at my fingertips. Haven't used as much as some resources, but it is still a bargain without maintenance fees.
It is exactly what it says. The entire code and regs in a very good and easy to read layout. Basically this can replace you expensive cch paper version if you don't mind reading on a tablet.

Love the app. Can you make it possible to find or search for a word or term within a page? Hunting for a particular term in a long code section or regulation could be made quicker.
