it does not work. When I first subscribed it worked for a few months and now I cant get it to work. I can't get past the login screen. It keeps trying to make me pay again but I have the monthly subscription. It then says: error, subscription receipt in progress and I can't get past the screen. I have been charged for MONTHS without being able to access it.
I can't even login though credentials are correct. I use a VPN and initially thought it was because of that I couldn't but even without the VPN on, I still can't login. It keeps saying Login Server Error. I contacted customer support a few days back but still no response. I have already 6 months of receipts, miles and my bank info on this app. It came highly recommended and worked well before all this. Help please.
updated review: After talking to their customer service team we were able to get the payment acknowledged on the taxbot app. The woman on the phone was even able to extend our trial time. Great App! old review: I purchased the subscription through google play and it is still asking me to purchase when I try to log in. When I click the purchase button again google play tells me I have already purchased... I really liked this app. If they can fix this glitch then I would gladly change my review.
Love the app. Not sure what you did with the recent update but now I cannot get it to function correctly. When trying to input a past date it always reverts back to current day. I cant input older receipt if my life depended on it. Fix this. In the meantime I am uninstalling and using browser only. Seems that is best option for any app these days 🙄😒
I have never had a technical mishap with this app detecting my travels. I love the added benefits, aside from mileage, which is my primary use and oh so worth it!! I'm going to start itemizing expenses next, catch up, to be ready come time to file tax return -ready to roll smoothly utilizing all festures next year! Thank you, Taxbot!!
Since the last update the mileage tracker feature will not work no matter what settings my phone has turned on. From the looks of the reviews I'm not the only one and Taxbot refuses to acknowledge the issue is on they're end. Fix the broken update!
This app has a great concept however most of the time it's not working. The buttons aren't responsive and the app freezes a great deal. Fortunately, this is still my trial period. I will be looking at other options.
App is cool, spamming is not. You will get tons of spam upselling you on other products, webinars and when you request to stop being spammed, they reply, you've been opted out and let us know if you get any more emails. I guess when you 'opt out' they don't guarantee that your not going to get more emails. I called to talk about it and my account had been closed. Apparently there was a billing issue 2 or 3 weeks ago that no one let me know about. I called and cleared it up and as soon as I gave them my credit card, girl says Have a nice day and hung up. Terrible people in the back office.
This is friendly feed back and I hope you'll take it as a way to improve your product. Be honest up front and say it's a paid app. burying the $9.99/more in the description is not cool. THE INSTALL BUTTON says in app purchases and not a thing a out the true cost. if I'm going to pay you to use your app, why the in app purchases and hiding the price? I don't mind paying for the app but I was surprised by the "free trial" after I downloaded it.
**UPDATE** after month's of using this app.....VERY POOR MILEAGE TRACKING- I go to the same addresses on a regular basis and yet the mileage is different every trip. Address is also listed different every trip. I'm now looking for a free app. This isn't worth paying for
Every month it is an email to get the app to function. I chose to pay through Google pay as it was the only option. Yet here it is March and I can't get into the app again. Trying to do my taxes, and who knows what data will be lost this time.
This app is amazing when it works, but I havent been able to open it in months to go through all my drives. I've been paying for it monthly and I'm getting frustrated. there's no way for me to go back and get that information if this isnt fixed.
While the app works, I do see a limitation in using the correct mileage rate for anything other than business. . 20¢ per mile for medical or moving purposes and.14¢ per mile driven in service of charitable organization. My work around at this time is to categorize each non-profit that I work for.
Pics don't sync with bank records like they say it will, transaction history not importing. App and website difficult to use and customer support not helpful. Seems like a rookie made this app.
I've loved this app until today. It wanted to get access to my physical activity. I declined. It asked over and over until I clicked "deny and don't ask again". Now the app is not responsive. I can't use it. I logged out. Logged in. Nothing. So disappointing.
Faithful. Taxbot is faithful in keeping my mileage in tact and allows me to connect receipts with travel, which makes taxwork seamless! I've tried other tax apps and this one is HANDS DOWN the best!
Taxbot is an absolute beast!! I love the user interface. It's very easy to use. 30secs is about all you need to load an entry. Love it!
I have been paying the $10 monthly fee, but I haven't been able to access my account. I have tried numerous times to cancel the payments and cancel my account, but I keep getting the run around. Not cool.
Previous issues are fixed! Update... it's a roller coaster ride. I've had this app for maybe 5 years. I've never had issues. Now it's touch and go. Currently the app opens but that's it. Its unresponsive after it opens. Very frustrating. I've checked if it's up-to-date and it is. But can't enter my tax info. So useless currently.
