taxi.eu – Taxi App for Europe

The app used to be a good option, but alas, like other services I believe Covid has impacted this sector as well. The app keeps searching for ride and shows "processing" with no driver info or where the taxi is or if they even found a ride. Had an urgent Hospital appointment, finally had to go via good old public transport which was much quicker.

I've used 4 other taxi apps in other countries and taxi.eu is by far the worst of them all. It doesn't tell you the approximate fare, or the make, model, and license plate number of the taxi you are waiting for, like all other apps do. Driver didn't know our destination. Also it's full of bugs. I set the default method of payment to credit card, but it force-switched me to cash when my ride arrived. That's not the complete list of bugs. I'm only giving it 2 stars because my ride finally arrived.

Absolute hot garbage. First, after adding a credit card as a form of payment, it won't show the card as an option to pay for the ride (only cash). Worse, after completing the setup process, it tells you everything is all set - but when you go to actually book it says it needs to confirm your phone number via SMS. Upon entering my number, it says it "can't send a SMS to that number". Useless.

I am giving four stars for this App. When I requested for a Taxi because I have a work on Lenten Season at Morning shift, I did not expect that the taxi is earlier and also I have no problem when I arrive at my destination.

Looks great, but most taxi apps here in Germany....it does not allow you to register with a Cypriot mobile number. Disapointing !!!

Useless app for tourists. I can't add My local phone number, my country doesn't exist on their drop down list 😤

no eta. no confirmations. no option to pay. I would hapily pay taxi rates to ride in an uber. Resonse, since I cant reply directly to developer responses?? Come on Google. Really??: Germany in mid july. The ap just sits on a loading screen. The driver does show up but no information is provided on their vehicle, eta, contact number, ect. It makes locating the correct car very difficult at a crowded hotel or tourist spot when a common language is not spoken (well).

Was nice, is runbish now. It feels like every time I use the app, I am asked to register again. Now you are forced to add credit card details and then have to confirm via bank and this is not working ... bla bla bla. Even using Uber became an option in comparison. Sorry guys, but this is just to annoying to use and not reliable enough. And btw: stipovers and stuff cannot be entered either. The app is just not worth the trouble, so after using it for 5 years this will now be deleted.

The worst app i ever saw. Seriously, between, the glitch and the destination that is useless because the drivers dont know where we go... it's just useless. Oh and to add to that you guys/girls need to find a way that the drivers dosen't cancel all of a sudden because it make your service worst and worst. I know you don't want Uber but at least offer a service that is relyable.

1) there was one price in the application, but the driver over, price took 17% more. and after the trip the price in app became 0 euro. 2) wrote in the comments that the driver spoke English, in fact not. 3) the driver completed the trip almost 10 minutes earlier.

This is a terrible app! The pick-up point flickers on and off. So do the buttons that allow you to contact the driver. Uninstalled. I'll never use it again.

Taxi didnt arrive, too long wait time on support, the taxi car on the map is in fact my phone and not the taxi we were waiting for, no way to contact driver, no way to see what kind of car is suppose to pick us up. Over all worst taxi app oveever used.

The app says it can't send me the sms so it is not possible to verify my phone and not possible to use the app. The problem is not on my side, I have no problems with sending and receiving sms beside this.

Very nice app and service. I tried it many times. Drivers, timing and cars are all perfect.

Reservations get canceled without notice; app full of minor bugs; can't call taxi when he's lost... Only reason I use this app is because the other ones don't have the option for child seats.

Americans beware: App won't work with US cellphone numbers.

No country code for New Zealand means I can't sign up !

Payment with this App never works on my Google Pixel phone. I've tried reinstalling or setting up different cards. Nothing works. Your only hope is that the driver has a working card reader.

Useless app doesn't properly work. Unfriendly personnel on the phone. Deleting and going to recommend people never to use this app. Ordered a taxi. Indicated that taxi is there on the app. Nothing

This is so stupid. I had a trip from somewhere to airport they charge me twice for that and when I'm calling them they tell me a different thing every time that means there is some thief over there and they won't refund my money I email them they don't respond after a month they told me the driver isn't working there anymore I said its not my business I need my refund they just hang out. I'll never gone use this app and I suggest you to dont even download it.

horrible app you cant even tell if the taxi you ordered is the right one, ive had other people take the taxi i ordered, and I still get billed for their ride while i am left standing there. Fire your programers and start over!!!! I'll be using uber from now on

The app calculated 32€, but the taxi driver charged us 53€. We called the support, they said we had the wrong number and can't connect us to the right one. Scam?

Had a driver that just drove around before pickup and just never showed up. Somehow the ride was started and there was no way for me to cancel.

Don't bother with this app if you want to prebook, was told by the taxi company they only get notified 15 minutes before your appointment and by then they couldn't provide us with a taxi and cancelled on us.

Boeing si not a good thing. He came "earlier"they said and took the wrong person then the second one was another adress. It's cool when you don't want to be late :)

Compared to other apps it offers poor comfort. Is constantly forgets the last destinations and does not allow paying with the app.

The app won't sent me the SMS with the activation code. Says that is not possible. The problem is not on my side, as I receive SMS frequently

i tried this in antwerp. The arrival time said 14 minutes. In the end it was more than 30. The driver claimed traffic, but mid-day traffic in Antwerp is not thar bad - even 14 minutes seemed long for the distance. And the driver said paypal didnt work, so i had to use my card anyway.
