Taxibeat Free taxi app

In 2020 the app was working perfectly. It would pick up your position you would type in your destination and a taxi would be found almost instantaneously. Now it can't find a taxi. Maybe this has to do with the drivers' partnership with Beat. But there is another problem in the case it finds a taxi. Instead of having it pop-up on the screen, a weird bug occurs and the UI changes and is non functional. Restarting the app fixes this but it's frustrating.

The first year I started using Beat (2018) everything was good. Lately this year I used it 3 times and something is wrong. I realized the app had found taxis for me but it never showed it on my phone, so it took long and the drivers left after 3 minutes or so. I closed it and opened it all the time. I was renewing the ride when it showed it was loading for a long time, and I possibly called taxis that never appeared on my phone. Big problem for me and for the drivers.

The app doesn't tell you the fares of the airport. The ride was supposedly 27 euros only for us to find out there's a flat rate of 35 euros to the airport during the daytime after payment. This is very misleading. Since a flat rate is already in place, this should be mentioned while booking the ride.

Since 2 months that I've returned back to Greece, I found the app to have become totally unreliable! It is impossible to find taxi at any moment of the day or night anymore and that's unacceptable and heavily frustrating! I do not know if it's a software disfunction occurred during a recent update or if it's loss of taxi partners. Someone has to solve this problem "yesterday", not now, "yesterday"!!!

Total dogshit, can't connect with the driver, takes too long to find a driver, there are bugs when you finally connect with them. Many times I've called 2 drivers because it's not clear if you are connected.

The WORST app based taxi service in the world! If you think the same as UBER or TAXA, think again. If you count on BEAT for timely delivery to destination you will be disappointed. Finding a BEAT might take even 1 hour. Just pick a street taxi instead. STAY AWAY!

It's a horrible problem to use credit cards... One hour lock and can't update or nothing?... Terrible. There isn't possible use multiple destinations.

Really bad experience in Athens. Hire more drivers, improve your algorithms and create incentives for drivers to stay. Until then, Asteras is a much better alternative.

Please fix it or close it. Incredible amounts of bugs the last months, that cause trouble both to drivers and riders.

During last months I could not watch if a taxi driver has accepted my request because only the route is displayed on the screen neither the driver nor the vehicle!! I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application but the problem remains!!

Every time I try to add credit card says an error occurred. Other ride apps do not cause such issues. Can't pay, can't use

I have been using this app for months. I can assure you that if you are able to get a Beat taxi driver (in Athens, Greece) you'll never be disappointed. I have not seen a single driver not worth his money and more. Turn your back on people who don't want to provide appropriate services. Choose Beat drivers. In the winter the experience is amazing, while in the summer increased traffic makes greater delays.

Can't add a payment card - every time I try to add a card it comes up with an error. I've uninstall and reinstalled but something seems to work. Overall the app is OK, but it's quite clunky and doesn't update accurately when the driver has arrived

I experienced outstanding service in CDMX. The app is easy. Highly recommend over any other option.

An unexpected prolonged stay in Athens needing transport after dark. The service was spot on, kind and pleasant drivers. The price quoted before pick up so you know exactly what the charge will be. Would highly recommend this service app.

1 year ago the app was great you could find a taxi in less than 5 minutes. Now the app freezes and you don't know if your taxi is coming or if you need to search again plus I live in the center of Thessaloniki and I can't find a taxi at 1pm

Accept PayPal: Why? Security reasons, Your competitors DO accept PayPal, why not Beat? Also,accept on the spot virtual CC payment and, accept CoDI in Mexico. Enable 2FA authentication, a must! Haven't been able to use Beat, During 1st try my trip was cancelled twice! thus went with the "other" guys. Then: how to request a Tesla ride, don't see that in the app? Last: there's a bug in the help section, download app -> open in Play Store. Let yourselves to be helped! You seem like a good option!

I can't even sign up. I've been waiting for a verification code for 2 days via text or phone call and emailed Beat. So not sure how I can even use this app if it won't let me sign up.

Poor service. After you confirm your ride you can not see who's your driver. This has happened to me on my last 3 rides. On my last ride I got into a wrong car thinking it was my driver. As a simple service it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. I'm gonna start using Uber services again.

2 taxi drivers in central Athens told because of closed roads it would cost 15 Euros to get back to our hotel - we knew it should be less than half that. I used Beat, and a driver was there in 2 minutes and took us straight to the hotel for 4. He was friendly and the cab was clean.

The app is buggy. Almost everytime I get a tax for the app it shows that I'm on the other side of the road. Costing me time and more money.

In the past I had no problems. Now, on my mobile phone, it crushes immediately after opening. It's been like that for a few months now. On my tablet it asks for SMS verification. The SMS never arrives.
