Easy and simple to use, nice to navigate the app. One common issue is the inaccuracy of the map, drivers cannot rely on the apps map, so usually they have to switch to Google map. Rides are typically cheaper than grab, but can't seem to opt for cashless payment. But drivers are less reliable than grab drivers, sometimes drivers don't use their own account but use their friend's. Safety is always an issue.

I just requested a ride and the driver accepted it very quickly and they were just a minute away, so the app claimed. The driver started the ride and I wasn't even in the car. The car didn't even pass where I was waiting for it. When I cancel my ride the app gives me the option of saying I'm not in the car but it doesn't allow me to input that as my reason. The cars aren't very clean, drivers have a tendency of being on the phone. Permanently switching to Uber.

I downloaded the app, and tried to make a booking, however, there weren't any taxis available, so I booked an uber instead. However, my card was charged £110, the transaction is still pending on my bank account 3 days later, which I was informed it might take upto 10 days. This is rather unacceptable to charge customers huge amounts on different transactions and cause them unnecessary financial difficulties.

It's alright in general. Nice UI, intuitive, etc. But there's a single problem which made me rate Bolt a 3. The story goes: you will be able to go for a run, make coffee, and eat your breakfast before you get a driver. Guys, seriously, fix this. It is not possible to use the app because the drivers keep cancelling the ride, and it takes forever to get at least someone to do their job.

Well... In my experience, bolt has a great issue, at least in Lisbon, that has been difficult to resolve. And that is scammer drivers who never pick you up just to collect the cancellation fee. It's has happened to me a few times in the past, but since today it happened twice in a row, I finally uninstalled the app because they can't even give good costumer support.

Used to love the app, but it's very frustrating when you can see there are free drivers but no one wants to accept the drive even though it is a taxi service and then when finally after a considerable time someone finally accept it's and just before they even pick you up they cancel so without a good reason. I'm wanting to use the app less and less for these reasons

The company is not customer friendly at all. If anything goes wrong, for instance, driver makes mistake and the path gets longer, the customer is the one who is charged extra. It's always customer's job to make extra effort and to spend extra time to bring the money back. I still use the app because there is no better option in my country (Georgia) but my experience is not pleasant at all.

Bolt is a really good transportation tool. It is normally a lot cheaper than Uber so good if you are on a low budget or income, also have discounted rides quite a lot, however, there are less drivers on Bolt and a lot of the drivers don't accept the request so wait times are longer. App is easy to use and navigate around, has several methods of payment. I wish they would add the feature where the driver needs a pin before starting the ride like Uber has, would make it a lot safer.

I had to pay in cash for the one journey I took, as it wouldn't pick up the driver I had for the right address once I corrected it. App still charged me, so I paid double, only realising once I checked my account the next day. I requested my money back from customer support, but my case was closed after I couldn't (as I was busy) respond within the day. Don't use this app or company.

I used to like bolt a lot but since covid is over, there are no cars available. They keep cancelling my booking after 10 minutes of waiting. I have to use other taxi companies which are more expensive but at least available. I would rather pay a little bit more for a bolt ride and actually have a ride then to have to run after other companies for who knows how long. Again, I emphasise, I would be willing to pay MORE for an actual service, if it was easy to book, pay and of course available.

The scooters this year are horrible. I've had a 10 min ride turn into 38 minutes because the app just didn't recognize I was in a parking zone. Even on the map it showed me CLEARLY in a parking zone, but still I couldn't finish the ride. I missed a meeting because of this, had to drive another km to find a spot where I could finally park it and was charged quadruple. Support hasn't answered me during the ride, nor after, when I opened another ticket. This never happened last year, but it's pretty common now, as I'm not the first to have this happen to.

Bolt sends me discounts but the driver refuses to take that amount. I end up having to pay more than the quoted price on the app just to get a ride. This happens very often. Also when i have the discounts I have a hard time getting rides as well because the drivers cancel as they want more than the price on the app. Very frustrating and misleading that its good price

Wanted to rent a car. Drivers licence expired, got new one. Took pictures as requested. Automatic verification failed. Was asked to write to support, did that 2 times , no answer, also do not see any history of my chats. No number to call. Finally, after sending pictures to support got solved. Third time is the charm. :)

when it works it's great the price is almost always less than Uber and the drivers I've had have always been polite and well cleaned cars. problem is it's nearly impossible to get a lift. the amount of drivers it cycles you through before you get a match is ridiculous and I've found about half of the ones confirm and then cancel when they are about halfway through their journey to you. for that reason I nearly always prefer Uber.

When it works, this is a great app. Good cars, good drivers, good system. However, I can't give more than a mediocre rating due to the sheer number of times a driver accepts a ride and then cancels without warning. During busy times when it's hard to get a driver anyway, these cancellations are horrible, and leave you stranded.

Twice now has my driver accepted the ride then cancelled after 5 minutes. I was refunded the full price of the ride, but I still wasted 5 minutes waiting for them. Since we get charged if we cancel the ride, shouldn't the drivers be charged as well when they cancel? Other than that, I have no complaints. The app works well and the drivers that didn't cancel were polite and helpful.

I got this app recommended from a college. Before pandemic was fine and they have really competitive prices. After is another story. _ Most of the time the send you discount but after the discount is the same price as the other apps. Not real discounts. _ App: when you request a ride and you want to cancel the request there is not a clear cancel bottom. And even closing the app doesn't stop the request in process. And you end paying with out use. _ long waiting times...

I am now done with this service... There is nothing wrong with the app itself, in fact it works well... The issue I have is with drivers constantly adding extra costs on top of what was selected without any just cause!! ENOUGH ALREADY... STOP STEALING FROM ME! and NO! giving me discount on my next trip will not suffice! I will now consider and treat additional charges as theft and will start opening a case for each one respectively.

It never works. It's always looking for drivers around and when it finds it after long waiting time, it gets canceled without offering any excuse or another ride. I had this several times, I have had spoken with one Bolt driver and he said that he was around the whole time but the app didn't connect us. Not recommend 😕 I will keep using Uber.. a little bit more expensive but does the job. Sorry!

The app itself is okay (I suppose). But the platform could be better. Stop allowing drivers to indicate they have arrived when they are nowhere near the pickup point. Allow drivers to know the general vicinity of the passenger's intended destination BEFORE accepting the ride. And if I cancel a trip, don't offer the SAME driver to me!

This app is full of drivers who don't show up and wait for the time to expire so they can get the cancelation fee without driving you. Support is inexistent, nothing happens if you complain. You have to go to the police to get anything done. The whole thing is a scam. Edit: I gave this another try, the same thing happened again. I tried contacting support, but there was no answer. They tolerate this because they make 4 euro each time a customer is scammed. Stay away.

Today I had a really bad experience with Bolt. The app was working terribly. It didn't update where the driver was and as I saw he didn't move, I cancelled the ride. But the driver had actually arrived. Secondly, since when are two cancellations too many or too often? The app blocked me since I had cancelled "too many times" which was only two times one of which was due to the app not working properly. Also, sometimes when I wanted to order a new ride the page wouldn't load completely.

I live in a sub-economic area, but drivers always pick me up and drop me wherever I'm going. Furthermore the customer support is excellent if you lost/forgot an item in the driver(s) vehicle, they contact the driver, providing back to back feedback ensuring your items are returned. Even better than uber or its competitors in this segment REALLY!!

There is no confirmation of what payment method should be used when booking. Also, there is no option to change payment method during a ride(even if just waiting for the driver). So if you would like to use different cards for different countries pay attention what card is used when booking (I didn't and I've paid the price). I'm currently waiting for them to delete my account. There is no easy option to delete your account, for this you need to contact support...

Bolt is the latest state-of-the-art rip off technique, worst than normal taxi. They show you a certain amount for an airport ride and then, after arriving at the destination, they actually charge you and debit your card with 50%-60% more. When you contact them, after spending lots of time in the chat, they offer you a discount for the next ride, but I think this is actually a strategy to rip you off in order to make you order another ride with them. Had only bad experiences with them lately.
