Taytona Racing

I definitely miss the Daytona USA version but this is a very close 2nd. I love the music. I'm so happy I found this game. I've tested the car when racing solo and it's solid. However, when you race the 40 cars, the car is sluggish and hard to control- like the handling properties have changed. Car also makes noises like you've been hit, when you haven't been.

This game has come a long way since I first checked it out in 2018. It went from being a fun little timewaster to being an incredibly faithful recreation of the arcade classic, even adding some more contemporary features such as online play and VR support. As a huge fan of the original, and just racing games in general, I was incredibly pleased with this. Despite that, it could still do with some polish in both the gameplay and visual department.

Fun game, not exactly like Daytona USA but that's expected, and not really a problem. The car feels fast, and the drifting is fun. Some problems are the way the car collides on occasion, and some graphical problems. These include the car not tilting on slopes, and these weird bumps on course #2. Other than that, there aren't many problems I see, and it's a fun game

Fun, quick-to-play game that gives a nostalgic hit of Daytona USA (even with copied graphic & sound elements). Could be a 5 Star game with some fixes. Two major current issues are (1) the manual gear buttons are not placed accurately, so for 1st + 3rd gear you need to press to the right if the buttons instead of pressing directly on them. Other big issue (2) - leaderboard rankings do not download my times. Big shame as I would play this often if it worked, but this ends the fun for me.

Surprisingly good. Please continue with the project. I enjoyed my time playing it and was impressed. Visually the sky box, grass effects and car animation (the bouncing) needs improvement but otherwise it looks nice. The sky would be the first thing I would work on, it would make the biggest difference overall. The visuals are quite charming and retro. The AI difficulty needs to be made a bit easier, and collisions need improving. The controls seemed OK, sensitivity tweaks or options would be nice. The exterior camera could do with having slight swing to follow the car's direction a tad more. Especially when drifting around a corner. Keep up the good work!

I remember this game... From my childhood, Daytona racing, bought my first CD from Rondo media back in the day.... This was one of the games or the original version.... Really brings back memories.... Thanks.... If you like retro racing then this might be what you looking for... Graphics aren't "modern" but it's a retro game so for the time I rate the graphics 5 star

The game is very close to the original arcade game One thing that's bothering me is the bots and there hit boxes its quite frustrating, i recommend to make the car hit boxes smaller for a beter experience But i have to say the game is still fun keep the updates coming.

Every aspect of this game is just soo legitimate... It feels JUST LIKE Daytona USA. But developers.. Fix the car to car collision physics.. coz it doesnt work like in the original game.. and also make some more tweaks to make it fully look like Daytona USA.. Best of luck <3

Thanks for improving the game! Although increased game speed can make it very frustrating to drive, I feel it was a necessary choice to make crashing less awful. Great, simple and quick loading gameplay makes this a great time waster! Would easily recommend.

Loved It!!!! I really like Daytona USA, I used to play it with my family in our local arcade (which doesn't exist anymore 😭)and I think this game is a great mobile adaptation. The only ghing ig needs is a ios support and a better intetface, thing like the gameplay are great and work exelent.

Please update this app to make it look, feel, sound, and play more like the original Daytona USA arcade game from 1993, plus the app also hasn't been updated since September 2018. Other than that, not too bad actually!

It has both good and bad points The good points was that it had more features than the original Daytona USA. The bad points was that the 3rd race was weird, it had no one to compete with.

Well done to this game, I couldn't ask for a better recreation of my childhood favorite. Maybe add endurance mode for more laps around the racetrack venues and this game will be PERFECT.

Superb & very playable reproduction of a genuine Sega Saturn classic! Please do keep on developing it. Having the fireworks at the end of each race would be an awesome addition. Great work already though!

Brilliant game Daytona is still one of the best games ever and this is near as you can get. Well do the team who made this possible. Online gameplay is great when you can get in a race big thumbs up

I do have to admit that t does have the classic 94 UI and car skins but it has a long way to go before it becomes something completely lime Daytona USA. Controls are stiff and they feel awkward

This fan made it PERFECT in all terms and categories. NOT ONLY THE SAME AS ARCADE (PERFECTION-SAME), but you can play on line, AND USE THE "EVO VR CONTROLLER" thats just like the XBox 360 pad, (bought at Walmart $10.00) but online once, people were just participating adding 2 to 5 each race! I think we were like close to 18 to 22 online racing against eachother! I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THAT #1 FAN WHO MADE IT!

Good for nostalgia but it wears off fast. The hit detection is horrendous and completely throws off your car. And steering is a joke.

This game is an absolute *LEGEND*. This reminds me of my childhood where i play Daytona USA 2 where i play with my siblings in the arcade. Sadly the arcade has moved to another places now i was so sad i thought i can't play it anymore, it was 2016 to 2021 i haven't play Daytona. Until i found this game that brings back my memories. Please play this game if you know or *LOVE* Daytona USA 2. This game is an absolute *LEGEND* and it's also for *LEGENDS* from the 90s
