I just accepted TCF as my bank, and every. single. time. I try to log in, it says the information is not valid and to contact customer service. Sometimes it won't even get past the login ID, other times it will go all the way to security image authentication. But I have not been able to login in successfully. Ever. Either fix this, or I'm going back to my credit union. This is the only reason why I transferred to a bank; for mobile banking.

So at first I couldn't login kept saying my info was wrong then I read someone else's review and it worked. Login through the actual browser, click on the mobile tab, enroll in mobile banking by putting your phone number, confirm the texts, then itll let you use the app. Annoying but worked

This app does not work. I have been a customer of TCF's for nearly 15 years and have been trying to get this app to work for at least 2. Customer service keeps closing and reopening my support ticket with no resolution to the problem whatsoever. Every time I try to log into the app or the tcfbank.mobi site I get an "error. unknown error has occurred" message. Two years and 3 phones later I still cannot use it. Hate it!

Entered login information correctly and displays invalid login. I was joking since TCF online banking updated their graphics and interface that there would be a dependable app available. Unfortunately this is not the case. I guess I will continue to login using online service. Device: HTC ONE M8 Android Version: 5.0.2

As far as to login problems other people are having. You have to log into the website and authorize the use of the app before it will let you log in. The problem I have is that the app itself is very inaccurate. I transferred from Associated whose App is accurate down to the penny to TCF and whose App is never accurate unless I haven't used my card in like a week.

Once mobile deposit is available and new updates come it will be better. Very important that information is valid and up to date. I've witnessed pending transitions not showing both mobile and online. So if I don't keep my own ledger I could be screwed with fees thinking transactions are posted when they are not. So relying on it completely I do not. However having the app and account available in seconds is amazing. Having multiple checking to transfer funds on the fly much needed if tight budget.

This bank will not give me view of ALL accounts. Separating small business from personal. Anyone knows a owner might want view to everything at one given time. Because this option was removed, I'm now looking at other banks! View is poorly set up. Very congested website. Overall, epic failure. Goodbye TCF

This app takes care of the essentials as well as it should. No complaints there. However, I do believe it is in dire need of an update to current standards. By this I mean things such as fingerprint to log in, maybe even just a pin to log in, push notifications for daily balances, notifications for transactions.. these are all features that almost every other banking app offers nowadays. Get with the times, TCF!

The only reason I have a TFC account is because my school makes me have one. You can't transfer money online, cannot use apps to log into your account, and there customer service has been awful. Any other bank would be better!

TCF Bank does not care about their customers. Local branches closed and this app is prehistoric. I've been a TCF customer for over 20+ years. I am looking into other banking options. Get with the times and fix the app & provide current mobile banking features or continue to lose customers.

Dear Development department: this was an amazing app l, LOVED this app, but as of recently it refuses to let me sign in at all, it says there's an error. PLEASE fix it ASAP! After reading other reviews I had to try it. And yes the app fails with "unknown error " after I enter my correct credentials. No mention anywhere that you have to sign up on the Web. And no online check deposit makes the app useless anyway. Only regret for this review is that I can't give a score of zero.

Downloaded this to see if it would be better than the web version, more buttons to press. App looks outdated. Minimal effort put into this app. Needs material design, maybe your thumb print login to skip unnecessary buttons, better UI.

Typical tcf. Worthless app, you can check you balance and you have to re log in every time you want to use it. Just go to the website, at least Google Chrome remembers my login on my phone that nobody else ever uses except me

I've uninstalled and installed this app multiple times and an unknown error always occurs whenever I try to log in. I've checked my username and pw to make sure it was correct. This has occurred on three different phones as well.

TCF has got to be the only bank left on earth to not offer a mobile deposit function via their mobile app. I am getting beyond frustrated waiting for them to catch up with modern times. I have been a loyal customer for over a decade but am considering switching banks just so I can have this extremely useful and convenient service that every other bank I can think of offers!

First like everyone else is saying why have you still not able to do mobile deposit even smaller local banks offer mobile deposit. You can use the app to do anything other than check your balance for if switch to ANYTHING else it logs you out which means you can't use it to reconcile to check against the payment to another party. Basically the app takes one to the mobile site with the sort of new site is bad too not user friendly bring back the older version
