TChat for Twitch
TChat for Twitch was designed to give users the best possible Twitch experience for mobile. TChat chats are persistent. You can leave the app and come back at any time and you wont miss any chat messages. We have tried to make the TChat for Twitch message features as close as possible to the desktop Twitch chat features. Watch Twitch live streams, past broadcasts and highlight videos on the fast and stable Twitch video player. Moderators can easily moderate a channels chat in TChat, with a few simple taps.
TChat for Twitch Features:
• Add and save multiple Twitch channels to the app and keep them all connected at the same time.

• Find your followed channels quick and easy, we will let you know if they are live.
• Get app notifications when you are mentioned in chat or if you get a whisper message. You can also set custom notification keywords.

The app is supported by advertisements, however there is an option to remove the ads for a small one time fee, in the left side menu.

Cool, app for foreground usage with small to medium channels. But don't use it with big channels and even worse let it be running in the background with these channels. I had 2 channel with >15k viewer and 3 channel with <500 running. It got my phone so hot it was uncomfortable to touch and drained 1% battery per minute. After I closed the app, my phone got to normal temp within minutes, so it's definitively this app.
Great ideas but bad execution. The bttv emotes and gif emotes are a great execution. Keeping chat is a huge plus. Pip is buggy as is the background audio. They will overlap audio you open the app back up. For some reason I keep getting logged up which is annoying when you have to do the captu and the 2 step verification. Ads literally make the app unusable because they pop up and pause stream audio. I will be getting a refund for the ad free in app purchase.
While it is an only option to see add-on emotes and being permanently connected, it is extremely buggy, it requires much more work and is hardly usable in current state. It also consumes much more energy than official twitch.tv player. I would love to support it by donating, but in its current state I cannot.
Horribly optimized. This app uses way too many resources to run even in the background. I like a lot of the features that it offers, especially emotes but, after having it freeze my phone, forcing a restart twice now I cannot recommend it at all until the problem is fixed.
great app but lastest update started causing messaging issues. i can send a message andnonly about 3/10 of my messages will actually send. the app acts like i never sent the message it will not appear in chat no one in chat can see it and i have to retype the whole message and try again. its getting frustrating trying to talk to chat and do mod duties when i cant send messages.
This app is awful. If you want to deal with a terrible and poorly optimized interface that crashes every 5 minutes this is the app for you. If you want something better just try pocket plays or the default app. It has great ideas but it doesn't work at all
Edited/updated: Great app, missing the ability to turn mentions and custom keywords into red messages like on desktop though, currently it's very hard to notice @s in big chats. a tab with mentions would be great too in case you didn't see it until it was spammed out of the visible chat history.
I like the app very much. It does what is supposed to do almost perfect. I have an issue tho with the remove ads button. It wont be ads free when i close and reopen the app i need to press it again. The gifs are a bit laggy but its on mobile what you expect.
I think there is a problem with the chat. Sometimes my message was send successfully while most of the time it won't send. Don't get me wrong but I love this app. It's just annoying that my message couldn't get through after several attempt.
Nice app although things are a bit buggy like in my case I can't see my follow list. And as well this app takes up a lot of power for whatever reason. In about a few minutes I can feel my device getting ridiculously hot. Even if I were to play a game it wouldn't get a hot as this......
I like to use this app with the pop-out from the official Twitch app to cut delay as much as possible. The major gripe that I have with it is the fact that lately messages won't be sent more than half of the time.
Very good app but sometimes the messages aren't sending which is extremely annoying but when this is fixed, this app will be close to perfect for what I need! 4 stars for now. Bought the in-app purchase to remove the ads anyway.
App notifications aren't working for example @ mentions. At least not with the vibration setting on. Which has been a problem for years/however long I've had it, so since forever. At least a year.
I like this app as one that can sit along side the og Twitch app. The interface is a little different compared to the Twitch app, but they are pretty similar in terms of the features that the have. If there's one thing I would like to have fixed, it would be the size of the Twitch emotes. While the video and chat windows sit next to each other, the Twitch emotes in particular can appear to be REALLY small when I go to choose one. The bttv and Frankers faces Z emotes appear to be fine. The are big enough for me to tap on and post if I so desired. But those stock Twitch emotes... not a problem when just the chat windows is open, but when there's that + a video window sitting next to the chat window, oh boy. Those emotes become realy small. Not super small, but just a little too small for me.
The ads that this app uses are intrusive and have tricky X buttons that bring you to a rabbit hole of ads. I couldn't even get back to the app screen, the ads were so bad. And I wouldn't give my money to a company who invites these weasel ads into their software, just to get rid if those ads. You people are sick.
It works great the first time but when I close and reopen the app it says my connection is low and won't play the video even though my connection is fine and I can play the stream at highest quality fine on the twitch app.
The big red warning that occludes half of my screen, that I can't dismiss, when I don't have an active internet connection is not helpful. Please add an option to remove it? Or just not implement it because again it isn't useful at all.
the app is perfect, but need one thing, a mini reproductor for when i navegate through the app. is annoying when i have to close the stream to see the info of the streamer, see the viewers list or the following live streams
great alternative, works well, this app actually has features that even the official twitch mobile app doesn't have, highly recommended to anyone looking for an alternative, this is the best of the bunch.
Amazing because of the BTTV/FFZ emotes that go along with everything else the Twitch app has to offer. The only thing that would make it even better is if there was VOD chat just like in Twitch app but I'm not really knowledgeable about whether that's actually possible to implement.
It's a decent app, but the no ad micro-transaction doesn't transfer across devices. I can't even repurchase the no ad micro-transaction in app(and i shouldn't have to), Google just returns with you already own this. Fix.
Great App. Wish the pop-out player worked like the Official Twitch App though (Automatically pops out when pressing Menu button on Android), unless im doing something wrong.
No chat in VODS hence also no BTTV emotes. Pretty useless if you think about it, also the most ungodly user interface ever, but that's less important than the fact that YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE CHAT.
Works great for chat but the ability to play live streams has vanished recently, which is pretty much the entire point.
Loves this app, definitely worth the dollar to remove the ads! It has its clunky moments but nothing that will keep me from using it. Keeping chat going in the background when you're in other apps is a wonderful feature! One suggestion/request if its possible would be a default video quality setting, I have limited data and would enjoy the ability to keep quality to a lower setting whenever possible without needing to remember to manually switch it every time. Built in bttv and ffz emotes are wonderful. I appreciate all the work that is put into this app and am grateful that it is continually upgraded to keep up with the latest twitch editions.
