This app is awful, you have to select how to login, password or biometric, and 80% of the time the finger print fails. You can't change the print size by stretching the screen. Hate this app.

I've used this for a week now & hate it. Menu has black text on a gray background, hard to read. Didn't retain my previous watchlist. Now today it just flashes white, on & off, completely useless. No update available so have to reinstall to see if that fixes it, but have to go to work, don't have time to be their beta tester.

New update brings horrible usability. In the previous version I could get info at a glance and could dig down for research and analysis. The new app seems to think I just care about my current account balance instead of actually getting useful information. What a waste and terrible set of changes to the app. Even the choice of fonts makes this difficult to read. The high school kids who designed the UI should be fired

Loved the app prior to latest update. Easy to use and fit my phone screen nicely. Latest update is simply awful, did add fingerprint login, but you have to select each time prior to using it. What's up with that? I used the old app, which was clean and attractive, to check the market with 1 touch. Now to check the market with this app, I have to select fingerprint, use my finger to login, select resources to see current data. In addition, the app overflows my large screen phone.

Please rollback to the previous version. This new one is not an improvement at all!! Very cumbersome, too many clicks to find what you're looking for. The old version was very easy and a quick glance told me balances and how each stock performed. Please rollback.

Edit: they seem made some changes - still a work in progress The update that was distributed in early November has removed many of the options that were available in the prior version. For instance there is no way to sort the positions so the only way to find a particular stock is to scroll through all the ones you own (in my case for the consolidated position that's over 60 stocks) is a very hit or miss proposition, Lord help me if I don't see what I'm looking for the first time through.

Poor graphics visualization due to blurry fonts made me rate this app as above. It is not due to my device for sure since I am also using the non institutional Ameritrade app and graphics are sharp and readable. Please have your tech support research and use the graphic codes used in the "good app". I have a dual screen Microsoft Surface Duo device and the advisor client app is the only one that has that issue. Respectfully, PC

When used it for its intended purpose, it works well. I think a lot of the one star reviews are confusing this app with the TD Ameritrade Mobile app. Advisor Client is meant for people who are the CLIENT of a financial ADVISOR (it's in the name!) If you are, (and youcan check this by clicking on "Advisor" in the app menu), the app works as expected, even on an old device (Galaxy Note8). I didn't try the fingerprint login, because I'm not a fan of those.

Updaye. Here we are a month later. NO RESPONSE. STILL A HORRIBLE FINGERPRINT APP. Just not worth it when all my other apps don't have the same issue using the fingerprint login, just thos one. Horrible fingerprint login. The app just doesn't work well. One, yes 1, they to hit the fingerprint right. And the pin doesn't work if you try that. And then the login with id an pw doesn't work. If you the fingerprint right the first time great. Otherwise start over. Can you raye the app as no stars?

Very unfriendly upgrade! It so much easier before. You could see what was going with your account and market at a glance & easily drill in. To start off you have to select EVERYTIME password or fingerprint and a lot of time it doesn't even LOAD. In acts more like a beta program. SAD!

This ap freezes on relaunch and slows my phone down. It also drains battery life if you leave it running. Update: They still have not fixed the ap. It will bog down your phone on relaunch if you do not kill it before minimizing it. Edit: January 2020 and ap is still not fixed. Last update 9 months ago? TD Ameritrade should be ashamed for producing this garbage ap and not updating it for 9 months to fix bug, add new features and fix security flaws.

While I don't have the login issues a lot of people mention here I'm really surprised and disappointed with this app. Under Positions, no info shows for 3-4 major funds I have. The app does not even have the option to show overall gains/loses in % or $. Kind of a big deal when talking about money.

Seriously?! A less than 2 star average should be a HUGE priority for a company as large as TD Ameritrade! Thank God that you have been acquired by Schwab, who has a great app... too bad it'll be 18-24 months before everything is converted to Schwab! I only have one account here, so I only check it about once a week, but it wouldn't let me log on today, so I went to upgrade it and saw ALL of the BAD reviews for the new version! It seems to be more of a downgrade than an upgrade! Please fix ASAP!

Update 10/16/20: New user interface... too many taps, too many menus instead of tabs. Too verbose. Lost the device (local) watchlist on involuntary "upgrade". Delete of another watchlist just sits and spins (doesn't work). No search of transactions (history) for specific equities!! Did I get pushed to a beta? Or an alpha!! Dividend yields are 100x actuals. Why is the least used "Retirement Info" tab the third one in the list of five instead of fifth? Pay attention to usability please!

Best thing I can say about this app is I'm really looking forward to the Schwab merger completing so this app will go away. Scottrade had an incredible app that was easy to use, very versitale, and made useful information easy to access. That, unfortunately, went away after TD Ameritrade aquired Scottrade. This app should forever be held up as an example of how NOT to design an app.

The old app was better but still sucked! This new version is even worse! Doesn't fit the screen well, and it's harder to see your investment performance for the day. Usually apps are updated to improve them. This update was a big downgrade. TD should be embarrassed to release this app to their customers.

What an absolutely awful update. Very user UNFRIENDLY. Also, the fingerprint signin frequently doesn't work. It appears that TD Ameritrade doesn't even take the time to read these reviews. I don't see any replies from them. With such a high percentage of 1 star reviews, you would think they would try to improve the app.

Just uninstalled this app. Are you trying to limit user ability to trade? If so, the latest update is successful. Get it fixed, or don't be surprised when clients with large accounts move to where the app works.

Im a financial professional...Easy of login, lay out of accounts, holdings and ability to do a deep dive of an individual security including lot history, research and charts. This is 10x superior to other custodial interfaces.

I logged in, tapped the "Accounts" tab and my phone froze. This app, in it's current state, is worthless. It should be removed from the Play Store until it actually works.

This app was terrible before the update.... But at least it worked. Huge step backwards on functionality. Now it just flashes white on my Pixel 4 XL. Just terrible.
