Terrible. My transactions haven't updated since October 2021.
Not sure how this app is rated so highly. It's very slow to login and execute transactions, which is odd because it's just displaying the webpage. It's literally the same experience as connecting through a web browser, only far slower and borderline unresponsive at time. The app functions though I'm not sure why anyone would use it over a web browser.
App is honestly terrible. Would give it 0 stars if possible. Every time I log in, it does not have updated information. Still shows bank balance from almost a month ago and has yet to update. The app experience truly makes one want to close out the account entirely. Not helpful at all and never gets any updates. Shows incorrect information dated from almost a month ago and does not show current finances. Do not recommend.
This app is user friendly you don't have to be smarter than a 5th grader to enjoy the ease and every section is so functional and easy to to use and and everything is easy to read and see it's just a great app thank you TDE CU for coming out with such a great application
I like that I can do just about everything I need through the app without having to go up to the bank. Had some trouble with the mobile deposit set up tho.
Mixed Feelings - My app had been having issues since 12/23. I would get logged in but then the screen would go blank. Tried closing and re-opening but the on 12/28 decided to completly uninstall and reload the app. After that I was able to access my accounts and make my credit card payment/transfer. The app still is not showing my credit card payment amount due or any of my previous transaction history. other than that I have been happy with being able to easier see my account balances.
The app has been updated with a new menu system but all the Help documents, screen shots, and videos under the new Assistance menu are only applicable to an older version of the app. Right now, this Android version is ahead of the TDECU iOS app and the TDECU Web Online Banking. Hopefully, soon, no matter what device I'm on, all will have the same functionality and be in sync.
Great app, even better staff. Went out of their way to help me when they didn't need to. I opened an account and I got my checking and savings accounts mixed up and overdrafted my checking account by a significant amount. I sent an email explaining the situation and how if they looked at my accounts, my savings had plenty of money to pay for my purchases. They waived ALL of my overdraft fees and transferred my money to the right account so I didn't have to pay any fees.
Limited One of the things I constantly struggle with is using this account for online transactions - more often than not it refuses to allow the transaction. So extremely frustrating! How simple it would be to implement a customer verification for online transactions through the app - thereby maintaining security while ensuring customers can actually spend their money as they please! Instead, I use another bank account and card.
Please fix and update this app. It worked perfectly on my old phone but ever since I got a new phone it's been really buggy. I'll try to log in and I'll get a message saying unknown error and try again and it will stop toward the end of loading and I'll have to keep trying several times until it finally works. I never had any problems with my old phone so I'm assuming it doesn't work with newer phones.
Calling it an app is a bit of a stretch. This is less of an app and more of a browser that opens the mobile website. So what's the problem? Well the developers seemingly failed to optimize the mobile website for mobile devices. For example, when trying to transfer funds you have to set a date, but the calendar opens off screen so I can't pick a date. Works the same in the "app" and on the "mobile" website. Basically TDECU is WAY behind in the banking app world.
Doesn't actually show all of the transactions on your card. Two months of transactions were missing from the statement. I don't really use the card so I didn't think anything of it, but they were charging me fees. Apparently the autopayment only went through once so they were charging me late fees. They refunded the fees but refused to reverse the hit to my credit score saying I 'should have called in to see if everything was okay'. I have plenty of other things to do than call every institution
I've been using this app for MONTHS and It needs a SERIOUS Update. It has had a few here and there but It never seems to fix ANYTHING. Everytime I tap on the account It says "Error Problem". It does not provide time stamps for ANYTHING. And sometimes I can't even sign In!. It's very frustrating. For this bank to claim that It Is the best the app Is very bad.
Pretty great overall. The credit card account showing does not show the credit limit left, which is a huge downside. The credit line also is very slow to show charges compared to other online banking. Transfers are easy and app overall useful
All is well with except mobile deposit. It takes too long for deposit to become available for use.
Vaguely works some of the time. Login is obtuse and frustrating. Check deposit is buggy and frustrating. Account information doesn't even qualify for minimal. Zero budgeting help. Bill pay is broken. Definitely not up to modern standards which makes me very concerned for account security.
This used to work fine, but now I only get an error message. I've tried on my phone (samsung) and my tablet. A friend was able to sign in on his phone and tablet with no problem. When I tried to log in on his tablet I got an error message. It's not a problem with my username and password because it just worked the other day. Now when I need it to deposit a check it's not working. I cant even see my balances. Very inconvenient and frustrating!!!
App works great for most transactions, but the one huge caveat is the calneder when scheduling a payment. I can only use the right side of the calender. if i want to make a payment on Monday or Tuesday I can't. Please fix this issue. This is on a OnePlus 6, Android Pie.
This app is Horrible now. This use to be a wonderful app. Now its just madness. I spend more time Uninstalling and reinstalling this app. Then I use it. I am down this once a week. Which is an extreme inconvenience. PLEASE FIX.. the issue is not with the user's. I getting a message always that stat unknown issue has occurred!
Very helpful. Since moving to another state, Ive been without a physical branch to go to. I had been using a shared branch in my new state but that program has been cancelled. Having a way to still deposit checks without having to get another bank account is very convenient. It would be great to get the shared branch program back. Anywho, great app!!
Everytime you change this app you make it harder to pay credit cards for people who don't bank with you. Now you have made it impossible. Do me a favor go to any credit card app you have, see how easy it is to pay your balance? Take note and follow the trend. I shouldn't have to call to pay my balance. If it continues like this then out of lack of convenience I will just use my other cards. Please fix.
Had to redownload app to get camera to work for mobile deposit. worked the first time, but the second time it won't even open up. uselessness of this app means I have to make an extra trip to cash my check. i originally wanted to give it 3 stars because it was at least useful to view my account and transfer money between my own accounts. now that is ruined so... cool i guess.
I can't log in from my new phone or on my desktop computer. The Forgot Password option literally doesn't respond at all. I have to use my very old cell phone to log in and sometimes it just takes way too long then just crashes. It's helpful when I can access my account. I've called several times and no one can help me or give answers. I've been hung up on a few times as well.
New app wouldn't send access code to the email on file. Access code needed to change any settings. Access code sent to my landline,but I'm out of town. Lucky my daughter was home to give me the code. Tried to change settings to send text messages to cell phone. You need access code which is sent to landline. Your app is terrible.
It stopped working and even when I uninstall and install again it wont work. Updating doesn't fix it either. I noticed someone said if you do't live in America it won't update correctly. Well, I live in America and specifically Texas and it WON'T work. I've tried everything I can think of and suggestions. It doesn't work anymore.
Your alerts when opening the app cover content. Same alert on all pages. Could you please just show it once so I can complete my business without having to stop and delete the same alert multiple times? I will gladly give 5 stars. It is annoying.
I enjoy TDECU as my local bank, it has great workers and services so I'll give their physical bank a 9 out of 10. However, their online app is one of the worst apps I've ever used. Their "maintenance" prevents me from checking my account when I need to make sure I have money to pay bills. My phone won't save the sign in settings so each time I use a different browser I have to reset my password and a few other issues. I recommend their bank but the app is a joke.
This app sux! My accounts are never right, I haven't seen a transaction in a month now. No one from the bank has been able to help me and get up and running again. This is foul!
