TDM (deprecated)
When you connect to a trusted Bluetooth device or Wifi network, TDM will keep your phone unlocked. As soon as you disconnect, TDM will secure your device.
Keep your device unlocked
• when at home and connected to your wifi network.
• when in your car connected to your vehicle's Bluetooth.
• when connected to your Android Wear or Pebble device.
• anytime you connect to a trusted Bluetooth device or Wifi network.
• temporarily even when not connected to a trusted Bluetooth device or Wifi network.
• when at a trusted location you choose. (With TDM Location Plug-in)
Don't worry! You can always temporarily lock your device even when connected to a trusted device!
• NEW! Lock your device from Android Wear.
A few notes:
• TDM must become a Device Administrator so it can manage your lock screen.
• Unfortunately TDM will not work if you have another app that enforces a password policy.
• ex. Email app that connects to a corporate exchange server
• TDM will not work if you use full device encryption.
• If TDM is active as a Device Administrator YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO UNINSTALL IT
• Either disable TDM from your "Device Administrator" screen, or from the settings in TDM.
Notes for users with Android 5.0 Lollipop:
• TDM does work. (Sort of) When TDM removes your pin when connected to a trusted device, a bug in Android 5.0 causes the lock screen to still show up. When this happens, you can just press enter to bypass the lock screen (You do not need to enter your pin). This is a flaw in Android 5.0 and there is nothing I can do about this yet. (I'm still working on it).
This has been fixed as of Android 5.1. Unfortunately Android 5.0
- 5.0.2 still have this bug and Trusted Device Manager does not work as expected on those versions.
This is a fully functional "3 day trial" of Trusted Device Manager. After 3 days, Wifi unlocking will stop working. If after those 3 days, you would like to keep using the Wifi unlocking feature, please purchase the Trusted Device Manager Premium Key.The Premium Key is just that. A key to unlock the wifi features. This app must be installed.

It just seems really buggy to me. It seems to have no idea when I am and am not connected to a trusted Bluetooth device, so even when I'm connected to my smart watch out Bluetooth headphones, it asks for a pin. I installed this app to make using and unlocking my phone easier, but it has been nothing more than a complete nuisance. At best it's not particularly user friendly; at worst, it's a complete failure. It doesn't override the security settings of my phone so even when it reports that my Bluetooth device is connected and that the phone is unlocked, I still need to use the phone's default pin or pattern to unlock. I need the phone to open UNLOCKED when using GPS and connected to Bluetooth headphones on my motorbike. This app absolutely doesn't work with Xiaomi Mi Max
The setup was complicated but it is working. It doesn't seem to work well with Nougat Lineage ROM for my phone. I'm hoping for an update.
I have a Pebble smart watch and this app does not detect that I am connected. Therefore smart watch does not act as a trusted device. Also it asks me multiple times if my WiFi is a trusted device. After I say yes and confirm my pin, it forgets it and then asks again. Can't believe I spent money on this. How do I get a refund?
Have Moto G2 just upgraded to MM. Was using another program on KK and it stopped on upgrade to LP. Found another but it stopped working on upgrade to MM. This program works with trusted wi-fi and does what it says it does. Hopefully third time lucky and the devs continue with work on this app. Well done guys!
When ur product works, ur users do the advertising for u. Perfect rating for: clean, simplistic, material UI. Customizable options. Easy to toggle. Responsive developer. Fantastic app, I just hope u will include more ways of unlocking in a future update.
The ability to set trusted WiFi network sets this app far above Google's stock smart lock.
We all set our phones down I noticed, me less so. I keep a holster on me. Still I figured someone must have thought of a way to do just what you have done. Great product , I have no issues after a month strong. Moto g4 plus... no probs
Had VPN setup on my phone, when this app kicked in it wiped out the settings. UPDATE: just received android 5.01 on my phone and their trusted device manager implementation does not delete the vpn connections. is there something that can be done to prevent this, I really want to use this product again.
No need to type your pin code a dozens of times aday. specially when you dont need that Extra security.
Works to keep my devices unlocked When on trusted wifi but doesn't lock it back when I leave trusted wifi. If I restart my device then it will lock again. If it would work to re-lock my device I would give it 5 stars.
This works well with my 5.1 android phone. I got great support getting started.
Works for me. Xiaomi Mi3 with LG Urbane smartwatch. I can't only figure out how to disable swipe screen.
Does not work with Lollipop and won't let me uninstall.
i can set 5 digit password but when want to unlock show is 4 digit. what is the problem here? now my phone can't be unlock, what should i do? please help to advise.

Nice app but resets the default unlock to the pin code every time it locks back the device. Would be nice if it didn't override it.
Android L includes smart unlock for Bluetooth, anyways I'm trying to use this for my Xiaomi Miband fitness tracker which has Bluetooth and use this app to use this for Smart Unlock of Bluetooth nearby, but can't seem to do it, good design of app material design

I like it. I tried to do it with tasker, but it was not reliable and I didn't want to spend any more time debugging. This is a great implementation for 4.x android. I use with Wear, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

The design is good, if it worked consistently. It doesn't. It disables lock security when you start the phone, only locks sometimes, and limited to numeric codes so encryption is not supported. Overall, stay away if you don't want to compromise your security.
Been using this for a day now, and been emailing the dev about a problem, which he's already fixed and submitted. That's service for you! Apart from no pattern unlock (Google's fault, not the devs), this app works a treat for me!
Very handy software. Works smoothly with few issues. I'd like it to automatically lock when disconnecting from a trusted device, but not if I'm still connected to another trusted device. That's my only real beef with this app. Buy with confidence.
