Tea Time - Kitchen Timer

This app is simple, easy to use, well designed, and free of ad clutter. I have used it to catalog all of my favorite teas for over a year now. It even has a feature for exporting the data so that you can transfer from one device to the next. I am shocked and delighted that it remains available for free. Many thanks to the developer.

Thanks for this app! Great for kitchen/household timer, easy to set up. I like "order by most used." App started crashing every time I saved after the first few presets. It did save, so I just opened again and kept going, but some bug there. Wish I could see time remaining in notification bar, set vibration separately from sound, use turning phone over to stop alarm, and have option to hide teapot icons in tea chest view. UPDATE: It won't run multiple timers simultaneously. A deal breaker, alas.

There are no presets. This is a customizable app. This app is for people who know their tea, and know what temp & time to steep it. You can just adjust the timer on the home page to your preferred steeping time, or you can add times & temps in the tea chest for various teas. Tap the tea chest then the ➕ and add your tea, desired steeping temp and time. No music plays during steep time. You can either use the default alarm, or customize it through settings. The app will run in the background. So you can use other apps. Even play music and it will go off when done. Not sure if it will go off while talking on phone. Probably will, but could be annoying if you have the alarm volume set high. This is a plain, black & white app. No colors. No pictures. No frills.

By far the best tea timer app I've ever tried. has everything you need, a few additional things, and no ads at all. The updates, in my opinion, only made it better. It can also be used as a kitchen clock for other things. But its primary purpose as a tea clock it fulfills best. Great praise and thanks to the developer.

Excellent app. Very flexible. I can add any tea i like and set the temperature, time, colour and notes. I can also back up the data. A lot of other tea apps can't do this.

Alarm does not go off if you do not switch out of the app to a different app before turning your phone's screen off. The alarm also does not go off it you leave the app up and ticking down. Essentially as useful as watching a clock.

Tea Time is a venerable app, which has remained absolutely stable, tidy, user-friendly, and easy on the eyes throughout the years… and it has always benefitted from frequent updates. Highly recommended.

Out of the tea timers I've tried this one does exactly what I need and does it in a streamlined and user-friendly way. The UI feels polished and it's quite quick and easy to go from not having tea to having tea using it. I'm looking forward to seeing what the developer does to refine it even further in the future. Tea out of Ten.

Absolutely splendid app. I use it nearly every time I make tea. Love the light/dark modes and tea colors. I would like to see multiple timers at once and some more color choices, though. Overall, 5 stars

Well crafted, adds free, simple tea timer. It is simply designed with no extra functions, just a timer and history log with right amount of customization. I'd consider it the best.

really great and simple app could be even better if you can change the measurements for gong fu brewing, or maybe just add like an optional brewer notes for each tea. this would take the app to the next level!

The developer is adding thoughtful additions for how people might brew tea. Easy to start using and lots of options to allow you brew how you like. The infusions addition to each tea being brewed is exactly what I wanted out of the app and they added it. Looking forward to further improvements!

Simple, vanilla, customizable, works in the background, wakes up the display when done, just what I was looking for in a tea timer.

It only offers one-stage timing. Which is useless for good tea. The same as any kitchen timing app. Just do not see the point. Even the icon is lame. UNINSTALL.

This tea timer is pretty much perfect. Easily tailored for all my different teas and does everything I need it to.

Great tea-timer... I use it every day and it's very intuitive to use without a lot of clicks required. One suggestion for improvement: It would be nice if there were an additional (optional) field for the steeping-temperature when creating a new tea. If a temperature is set there, it should be displayed in the tea-chest as well as on the count-down page.
