This app is as good as useless. Its automatic image check rejects all photos taken. It is completely impossible to use indoors and outdoors only under direct sun. Tried on 3 different phones including $800 s6 with excellent camera. Instead of releasing this piece of garbage app better spend the money on smth else. What a waste of time. Will close my account because of this.
I have never been so frustrated with a banking app to give it a 1 star review....until now. This piece of garbage masquerading as a mobile app does not deserve to be on google play. The mobile check deposit never works on any device I have (LG G4, LG G5, Samsung S7, Samsung Note 4, Motorola G4, Axon 7). The image cropper for mobile deposit is absolutely useless, whoever wrote that code should be fired ASAP. The app times out randomly making me go through login process which only works 1 every 3 to 4 tries. My high school interns have written better code than this pile of #$%^.
Doesn't seem to work with newest version of android OS as it still works on a slightly older device with older OS. It falsely claims that there is no connection available then self terminates. This wouldn't be that concerning if the OS just came out and the app just hadn't adjusted yet but the next OS isn't far off, "newest" isn't that new anymore and yet here we are still.
I've been telling myself you'll probably update this app soon for years, because I was convinced that there was no way this is the best you could offer to compete with the bigger banks - it must be temporary while you work on the REAL app. Clearly I was wrong, I'll probably switch to Chase or something so I don't have to keep driving to the bank to deposit checks like a barbarian.
Trash. Absolute garbage. Most features don't work, not intuitive at all, doesn't offer the convenience that other apps do, layout is horrible, and it's just a wrapper for the website which is also trash. It's not that it aged poorly, it was just as awful when it came out. I'm aware that nobody is reading this, but Teachers Federal, if you are, I'm switching to Chase in the next two months unless this is updated. The purpose of banks is to be convenient, and considering I can't even make it mobile deposit, you are not. I have the Galaxy S8, so it's not my phone/camera, it's you.
Terrible interface, buggy,randomly kicks me off in the middle of doing something and takes forever for pages to load. I do a lot of online banking and cringe every time I have do do it via mobile...Maybe I should switch Banks.....Errr"credit unions"
This is the worst banking app ever in the brief history of banking apps, if ur gonna download this make sure you have a paper and pen with you (I'm going to start keeping mines in my wallet). Because, you're going to find that the deductions u make with card payments, even when you use credit, will take forever to withdraw, misleading you to believe that you have more money than what's actually in there, thus over drafting your account, and there's no 24 hr customer service assistance like some banks such as Chase.
Whenever TFCU has an update, everything gets messed up. You really need to get your stuff together. It takes so long to load and then when I finally can click on my accounts, it takes another few minutes to "load" only to tell me I've been successfully signed out.
Honestly update your app already. Like it's one of the worst apps ever you sign in and then it immediately logs you right off. You try to view your accounts or transfer money and it signs you off. Fix your app. Get it together man.
This app is incredibly outdated...doesn't follow the Google Material design guidelines and works properly less than 50% of the time. They need a MAJOR overhaul to the app and app design. Even giving this 2 stars is generous but that's all you're getting from me.
I keep wishing that this app would work regardless of how it looked. I keep coming back to see if it would work and it doesn't. Unfortunately TFCU seems to be lacking again and ignoring it's members.
I think it's time for a totally new app. Something that works. This one keeps telling me there's no internet connection. Uninstalled then reinstalled, same issue.
Same user ID and password as on the old software and the website etc., but this new software won't log me in. It says bad user/password. Even that seems buggy.
Does not allow you to deposit checks. Worst banking app ever. Td banks app Worked for me with the same phone. Using lg g5. I even contacted the bank and they couldn't help.
Horrible while signing in alot it automatically logs off. Never shows updated account balances real wadte of time
This used to work fine. Nothing fancy but I could pay bills and check my balance. Now it doesn't do anything. I can log in then it auto logs me out. Useless
Entered my username and password, brings me to the main menu, and then whatever I select it just signs me out. Even uninstalled and reinstalled. How can a banking app be so terrible?
The apps has a ton of problems, before we were able to see the exact balance after a purchase now, it does not happen, it also load for long and then sign you out without showing u anything, come on guys you can do better.
Doesn't let you go past the signin continues stating the your login is an error. Thought it was just me but unfortunately I'm not the only one. Please fix!

Can't login due to a "scheduled" downtime. Tells me it'll be back up in 26269 hours 32 minutes. So it'll take 3 years... and 32 min to fix this. Great.

I've been trying to check my account for 4 days now and still have not been able to do so. Log in takes 5 mins then when i wanna check my account it just shows a loading symbol and doesn't load i have tryed it multiple times a day for the last 4 days. Glitches need to be fixed. Nothing was wrong with the old way.
TERRIBLE!!! You took a system that was working well and replaced it with a useless one..I was looking to review a statement from 2 months ago but that option is no longer available, so I had to call the bank, wait to spoken to and had to be prepared to give the exact amount or they could not check for me. What a mistake changing to this system I may have to change banks, also the print is very very small.
In Feb. 2015 I filled a dispute with my bank teachers federal credit union in the amount of $1200.00+ they told me my card was present at the time of the sale at some type of furniture store or warehouse in question. So they could no file it as fraud they would have to file it as a merchant dispute and that can take up to 200+ days. As of 3 days ago they finally answered back to me with the respond of my claim has been denied. So I called them and asked them why has my claim been denied and if I can speak with there ATM department. they could not give me a answer and said no I could not speak with anyone for the ATM department. Then they go on to tell me my documents submitted did not support my claim. Which does not make any sense at all because the transaction was fraud I never been to the merchant, so I tell them can you provide me with a receipt or even a invoice from the merchant if its not fraud as your claiming. They said after making me wait 6 months no we do not have to provide you anything. Now please tell sense when is a consumer not entitled a right to documents proving that something is not fraud of the financial institutions investigation of the claim.
Is it too much to ask that a bank would also remember to make sure it's mobile app works when a system update is done? It's a mobile age and TFCU is again left behind. I have been trying for 4 straight days now and their mobile banking app is broken with no fix insight. It went from being a decent app to a useless one in a day. What a disaster!!
This is without a doubt the worst application I have ever used, of any kind. It continually loops through the sign in page, not giving any errors. It refuses to acknowledge a correct security code word regardless of the accuracy of the entry, and it rejects perfectly good images of checks 40% of the time. It's like playing roulette every time you open the app, but the odds of success are much worse.
