Edit: Recent updates have continued to improve the app banking experience. Easy to use app, it has steadily become easier to use and the aesthetics have improved as well. Very easy way to manage finances if you are a tfcu member. Edit 2: App continues to improve, and is light-years ahead of a just a few years back. TFCU is doing great in this regard.

I had reviwed the app one star before because it had fingerprint login seemed it have been removed. After being told to contact the support team. I was told check the setting after logging in with normally. It was there and works as intended. The person I had talked to was very helpful. And quickly helped resolve the issue within a couple of hours

it isn't letting me transfer between my savings and checking account. "APPLICATION ERROR we are unable to display your information at this time" (or any time 😒) "please try again later" only happenes after i choose the accounts i want to transfer money to and from, and the amount i want to transfer, it asks if the information is correct and is okay to be transfered. i click yes and it shows me that^ has been happening for an indefinite amount of time , at the very least three weeks.

Once I was able to install, instructions were clear and easy. Depositing checks, however, is not easy with one having to take the pictures over and over again to make a deposit. Also, after making a deposit it doesn't show up as pending and dissapears altogeter until it's accepted by the credit union which can take more than a day.

This credit union does not care about you or your circumstances. My car I had a loan from them with was recently totaled (3 months ago) and they took all $10k+ of the money the insurance gave (as per nys law). Which wasn't enough for what I had left too pay. My monthly payments were alittle over $800 a month. With the $10k+ they got you'd think they would give me some time to settle things and finish paying the remainder. They've been hitting my credit score with 30+ late payments despite that.

I reviewed TFCU IN 2019 and gave it 5 stars. I only brought it down to 4 due to the ATM fee applied by TFCU. If you use ANY ATM, including cooperative banking ATMs, that are not on location at a TFCU branch, there is a charge on the back end. I'm sure in some way I am not aware, this saves members in the long run. It's still inconvenient at times. My experience otherwise, with the app, knowing exactly what is in my accounts or pending and customer service is 5 stars.

Love your app! So convenient. I can see all my accounts and my car loan. This enables me to stay financially en pointe. Yes, the check deposit feature is EXTREMELY lacking, but it's not the worst thing for me.

Check in daily and depend on its accuracy...only complaint is items stay pending for too long and available balance is questionable. Recently began using the app for mobile check deposits which works beautifully and saves me trips to the bank! I've been with TFCU for many years and plan on staying.

They changed the mobile deposit photo requirements. My job uses checks that differ from the standard personal check layout (some feilds are shifted slightly , double signature line, ****** between the $ and the numeric check amount, typed text on the check is smaller then normal handwriting maybe 12 point). If you dont have the pictures just right it will reject them. Took me over a dozen tries to get it, even had the issue on a dark contrasting background. The fact you have to write for mobile deposit only locks you into that method and if you aren't on LI when you are using mobile deposit you are stuck because there is nothing you can do. Luckily it worked but it is a real pain. They really need to loosen up some of the tolerances on the deposit program.

Mobile deposit is a joke. Terrible. As a former Capital One user....they blow your mobile deposit app out of the water! Slow, inaccurate, can't correctly read check amounts, way too sensitive to lighting and angle issues. Extremely slow processing. Other banks have them beat by miles!

I like this bank, opening an account is easy, they're local and their loans are usually fair. But this app.. This has to be the most unreliable app of the 21st century. 40% of the time the app won't display anything and it takes forever for the servers to get back up and running. The tech team needs an overhaul because this app is pushing me away from this bank. I need more reliability from a bank. In a day and age where cards are more the norm, I need to be able to check in anytime and see.

I always have a hard time taking the pictures of the checks. It also is set to remind me of what I need to do that it is unnerving. I know it is just an automated voice, but it makes me nervous listening to rapidly repeating phrases

My biggest complaint is that bill pay and account summary are not connected. When I set up a bill to pay it should deduct from available funds. Additionally when the bill pays it takes 3 days for the account to be updated. It's worse if the bill pays and the 3 days fallover a weekend.

I love this app but lately it keeps crashing. I have to restart my phone every time this happens in order to get it to work. Reinstalling it, deleting the cache and data does nothing to help the issue.

For the most part I like this App sometimes I have issues. Recently there was an update and I can no longer use fingerprint recognition. But it's overall useful especially now that I moved to a state that doesn't have a teachers.

Pretty user friendly and straight forward. It would be nice if they had online check deposit. Also, they don't differentiate savings accounts so its hard to guess which one is the one I want.

When you deposit a check on the app the camera makes an EXTREMELY loud shutter noise and it can't be disabled. This should be fixed in the next update. Other than that I have no issues.

Easy to use. Quick. Good sized numbers and letters. No trouble logging on. But Had to look for a while to find icons on the bottom of the screen.

While I've un installed and reinstalled and glad they actually reached out to me. It still doesn't work correctly. I'm not gonna change my rating just because thet want me too. Until they fix problems. I'm staying with website. App is terrible. Sorry but way it us as of now.

I love the app. Use it daily. Very convenient. Very user friendly. Would like to see routing number listed in account details. Even though it is easily found on TFCUs main webpage. Keep up the good work with the app! Thank you.

The app is very easy to use and navigate. I've been with TFCU since before the internet was invented and they have always been a wonderful banking institution. No hassles whatsoever.

Love this app and the new additions for taking pictures of check deposits! I usually have to take a few pictures till I get it right. Now the app tells me exactly what to do to get a good picture the first time! I use this app to transfer money from my Florida accounts to TFCU

App icon is terrible, passcode sometimes saves and sometimes doesn't. Memo's are a waste of time because they never show up. Not impressed.

No pending transactions shown, I lost a credit due to insufficient fees, thought balance on app was current but was not. Need to just sign on to computer for correct info.

Mobile app is very convenient and has pretty much same features as regular on line TFCU site. I've been using the app for quite some time and I have no complaints.

It can be a little slow logging in, but it is far better than their old app. It helped a lot being able to bank virtually during covid.

Don't like the new format, the old has each transaction separated by day, and the new has pending and day transactions combined to one column, it was easier and faster to look for a transaction the old way than scrolling through

App is simple and super easy to use. Everyone was always telling me to get it but I felt intimidated but I'm so happy I did!! I have my bank info always with me. I would always be the one with all my bank receipts in my wallet. Let's just say I have fewer now and I feel confident with this app. If I can do it, work this app, then anybody can. So happy I was at the bank at the desk and someone explained it to me and made me believe ... I can do this 😉

This is a great app is very secure it has been updated recently gives you a full overview of your accounts only downside is that you can only make 6 transfers per month still love it!

When it works it works, but it's awful if you ever forget your password. You get locked out for 24 hours and on top of that, you have to keep resetting it even after you've changed it. It's like it doesn't remember. It's frustrating.
