The whole system could really do with fixing. It used to work adequately with the school being able to message, sometimes the message would be broken up into sections as if there was a character limit on it. Lately however the app is happy to tell you there's a message but trying to actually access it is near impossible! If the message fits into the first 3 preview lines then you're in luck but if you need to click on it to expand there's no chance!

This used to work fine on my Galaxy S7. However it is not compatible with the Google Pixel 3. i have entered my phone number and verified the account. I can see the most recent 3 messages from the home screen, but when I try to go further into them, all messages since the start are displayed - and I cannot scroll down. The screen becomes unresponsive. The only way to change what is on the screen is to go back to the menu. I will miss info if the school send more than three texts.

This worked great for months. Then I had an issue with the timing of a message sent to me. I asked the school to question the fact the app said the message was received a full hour before the school said they sent it. Now I can only see part messages and when I tap on the message it goes back to February messages (two months ago) and won't scroll down. Very disappointing when the school use it so you really need it.

Awful system, used to work well, now ypu receive a message but are unable to read it within the app. The scroll function is no longer working and the only messages are the ones from when I was first registered on the system. Absolutely pointless. No amount of un-install and re-install the app has helped.

The App quite often freezes. I can see the summary message but when looking in detail it goes to an old message from Oct 2016. If the signal is not great I receive an sms instead so 2 different places for messages not great. I'd like to uninstall the app, but there's no way to take my phone number off so I miss the messages going to the app. Which means I've got to areas for messages, the app sometimes shows them, not reliable at all. Please fix and show me how to de-link my number from the app.

I'm having the same problem as many others. The message screen freezes and I can't scroll down to the most recent messages. I've tried uninstalling and installing again, but the same problem occurs and now I'm missing things. Like many parents I rely on this thinking it would be so much easier than text messages. Rubbish that such a widely used app is so bad.

I am very frustrated with this app. For some reason it will give me notifications when there's a new message, but I can't see the messages in their entirety. I can see a preview of them in the main page but when I click on it, or click on "messages" it takes me to the thread of messages, which is stuck on showing me the first messages from way back in September. It will not let me scroll down to see the latest messages. So my kid has been missing out on all the latest school activity things. 😠

An app to duplicate a website is great if it can save time. Unfortunately the app doesn't remember payment details so I end up using the website for most things. It has no concept of multiple children having similar needs. For example, I can book both kids into a club but one will fail afterwards as there was only one space. Having one booked into after school club is worse than neither. This confuses the school and me. Good ides but incomplete.

I have been having problems with the App recently. When the school send a message, I can't load the full message, and once I click to read, it takes me back to very old messages, where I can't scroll up or down. I have tried to uninstall and install back, but it remains the same. Please help as I need to receive messages, from my child's school. Rose Chege

Absolutely useless, nothing works. I use it for messages between two separate schools, none of the options when clicking on each school works. I'm lucky if I get to see a preview of the first line of a text message from school, I can never see a full message. I can see a preview but further than that it just shows a blank screen. Cannot see any other information like term dates etc. The schools have chosen to rely to rely on this app to contact instead of letters or emails. Ridiculous.

Was working exactly as advertised for months. Then started having problems. First one of the schools dissappeared. Reinstalling didnt help. In the end school reset my number from their end. Now I can only see messages from 2015!! No amount of reinstalling has rectified. I am receiving messages but when open app to view, shows old messages and cant scroll down.

you seriously need to look at fixing whatever bug is in your system! I see part messages on the main screen but when I click on it there's either a blank screen from the nursery or messages going back to January on the primary school messages! Last week the school had to close due to no water but I didn't receive a notification to say there was a msg, it was only because a friend text me that I found out! Sort this out please!

Really awful app. I get notifications of new messages, but can't view them in the app, all I can see is the preview which is gone once I click on it to open the app. Re-installed the app but the problem persists. Going to stop using the app and go back to receiving text messages.

Useless for parents who live apart My son's mum and I live apart. Yet we are both actively involved in our child's education. This app, which the school uses to communicate, can only be used by one parent and not the other. Therfore the other parent misses vital and important communications from the school, rendering this app totally unfit for purpose!

Dreadful! DO NOT BOTHER. What's the point in a message service that sends no notifications? Found out my daughter had place in an after school class when I went to collect her. Then I see the message was in the app but the app has never, EVER sent me a notification since installed as I found out when I checked my settings.

Poorly delivered app feels like focus is on schools user experience rather than the parent's. Confusing to navigate. Impossible to quickly tell what which meals/clubs are in arrears. Credits rom cancelled sessions don't automatically offset against other charges. Buttons don't always work. The app needs a user-focused overhaul

The general app is good, however payment system seems to have design issues. For example, I am trying to buy something in the basket after adding my card details, I then get this small popup with my bank name and Mastercard check with a submit button, even though I have authorised to pay in my banking app, the popup screen just stays there, I click on Submit and nothing happens!! Also, It would be good to be able to save the card details, considering it is such a bad UI, I'm tired of retrying!

Up until a week ago the app worked brilliantly however now when I receive a new message notification I am only able to read the first 3 lines contained in the preview. When I try to read the message in full it freezes on the messages screen and will only let me see messages from Sept 2018 (when I originally downloaded the app) I have uninstalled & reinstalled the app but this has not rectified the problem. I am now missing important information from my son's school. Please fix this problem.

I have had the same issue as others apparently have had: I get a notification on my phone about a new message but when I go to the app, despite the same message appearing in my 'recent messages' menu, when I tap it, nothing happens. If I then go to the messages menu, I have 3 messages from 2017 only. I cannot scroll up or down. I also intermittently receive these messages as texts, so sometimes I am informed of the notification, other times I have to guess!! I have reinstalled it but no change.

Absolute rubbish! As me and my sons mother are seperated I pay for breakfast club etc. But because I'm not main contact with the school I apparently can't have access to the payments part of the app, instead I have to go to a paypoint with a barcode and have to pay cash that way and even though it's paid every week my ex gets texts saying it's overdue! An utter waste of time and an awful app! Surely BOTH parents shoud be able to gain access to all parts of the app, not just the main contact!

Don't seem to be working. As others have said I now get notification of a message but when I click on message it comes up with very old/first ones received back in 2017 and I'm unable to scroll screen to see recent messages. Theres no option to delete old messages so I'm unable to read. Also I've noticed I'm getting messages with #NAME instead of my childs name and I have 2 kids in school so don't know which it relates to. not the best app. Think I'd prefer to receive text messages

I haven't been able to view messages from school now for a few days. Very unhelpful considering since installing the app it's the only way to receive communication from school. I receive notifications of new messages but unable to actually read them. The recent messages screen is stuck on messages from 2016! Uninstalled.

Sent me 5 verification codes in quick succession but when I did eventually get the app to open, the last message displayed was 3 months old. When I tried to use the app a second time it just showed me a blank white screen. Have uninstalled & reinstalled a few times but with same results. Utterly useless.

Please add fingerprint login as having to receive a code every time you want to use the app is another chore.. Payment Problems.. The required field asks for card holders name, after entering my name and pressing next I get a box pop up saying possible network error. Tried this on WiFi 5g and also on my wife's phone, still get the same thing. After server restarts of the app and 6 tries later I finally got onto the card number, what a chore just to make a payment.

Somewhat useful. It is annoying that whenever I click on a link within a message, I get an error staying "page cannot be opened. Clear text not permitted". I have to close the app down, because they error dialog just keeps coming back with no way of closing it.

everyone seems to be having the same problem. downloaded this app so I can keep all my school texts in one place as I'm quite forgetful. message pops up to notify you but when you click on the messages it just takes you back to old messages and you cant open them. so I'm missing out on everything as you cant deregister your number and I know longer receive texts as i signed up to this. pointless app. dont use it.

It's awful. Had worked intermittently but now When I open the app I can only see old messages, I can't scroll to newer messages. Uninstalled and reinstalled but makes no difference. It also doesn't work unless you have WiFi, so it's a fairly pointless app when I'm in work.

Used it last year, no problem. This year it won't work, states connectivity error! Nothing has changed since last year, Wi-Fi and 4G are fine. No issues with other apps! Uninstalled it several times no success!!!

Not working properly 😣 I seem to having the same problem as lots of other parents - I receive a notification but when I try to access it, I go back to messages that I received in 2016! I've tried reinstalling it about 5 times now and it is still doing the same thing. I won't be bothering with it again as it is more than useless. Please get it fixed!!!
