Other reviews note that there are a few mistakes. I haven't noticed any personally so most might have been resolved. It's an extremely useful app for team building with just a few missing features I wish it had. the first thing I wish it had would be the ability to see resistances of your team, currently you can only see strengths of the team as a whole. The only other change I would make right now would be allowing users to see moves learned by pre evolutions when selecting moves for pokemon.
Good. This app allows team creation for specific game which is very convenient. However, the only issue that i have is the order of team in the teambuilder. I feel it laid out randomly. I wish it was laid out in an alphabetically order, so it's easier to navigate. P.S : Love the new update which you can add more than 6 pokemon in a team.
It accomplishes what it needs to, but it can be clunky at times. The UI is a little poor, and it fails to include some stuff like items and moves and whatnot. It needs improvement.
It's a good app, but I've noticed some mistakes (like Luxray has the option to be a dark type, a la normal rattata vs alolan rattata) and there's no move tutor moves, egg moves, or previous evolution moves, so you can't do belly drum azumarill or payday Persian. The region dex filters are cool, but not completely accurate, like Black 2 doesn't have any of the previous generations of pokemon you can catch, just the Unova ones. I love the idea but this app doesn't have everything I need just yet!
It's a good app, but miss some moves like egg moves and tutors. Also, there isn't the moveset of region variations, like galarian darmanitan. Without those features, it is still hard to recommend it as your primary app for team build.
it works. I can Name my teams give them valid Move-sets. i kind of wish i could do so with stone evolutions though. they don't include the moves they learned through their pre evolutions. Also. please include tutor moves in the manage move-sets to make my life easier. I can't put Draco Meteor on Altaria on the app even though it can be taught it through Tutor in HgSs. also psychic does not Counter ghost. its the opposite. Please fix that. besides that, the app is fine.
not a bad idea for an app but there are a few issues (1. i have trouble with renaming teams 2. i can't see images on the pokedex entry nor can i see pokedex entries for other games when i try to switch between multiple entries 3. my biggest issue is that i can't switch forms for pokemon with multiple forms (EX: deerling))
It's only good for holding a team for a fan story, but considering you can do that with Bulbapedia and Microsoft Word or a pen and paper, that's not saying much. That two star rating is me being generous. Type effectiveness errors, a lack of forms, and most likely more than that.
It's alright but it has too many issues as people have said. One I noticed that I don't see people talking about is the team weaknesses part doesn't take into account resistances or immunities so it's a mess it all comes off wrong. For example it says my Skarmory is weak to ground due to being a steel type but it's actually immune to it due to flying, or my Salamence weak to electric because of flying when dragon type being resistant neutralizes it and so on.
Pretty ok, it doesnt seem to recognize type changes with regional varients, such as not marking alolan raichu as part psychic and not allowing you to select moves that it can learn but regular raichu can't. Same issue with the lycanroc forms. Lastly if you choose and third or second stage evolution you can't pick moves it could have learned at a preevoluted stage.
As useful as this could be, I'm gonna need to not use it until they add data about moves that can be learned by Move Tutor. Those do exist in Ultra Sun, but they won't let me put Hyper Voice in my Gardevoir's moveset because it can only learn it via Move Tutor! Seriously, people, get with the times!
It's a great app. The only issue I have with it is a bug when you try to rename a team whereby the keyboard won't show up. Overall a fantastic teambuilder.
have great potential but have some major issues with usability and gameplay consistency, alolan raichu is not registered as psyquic and can't add moves for previous evolutions like pichu, volcarona doesnt appear in alolan pokedex, etc. minnor details that leads to not being able to use it properly, but nothing to bad either. I hope you can fix this, cheers.
It is great for planning teams but there is one way you could improve this app. If you could choose move tutor moves it would be perfect.
Pretty good, and fun. A few issues, though; - Doesn't show the Fighting-type advantage over Electric-type in the performance section - Some moves missing - doesn't account for held items - no Alolan forms
This app is getting three stars due to several factors. The moves section don't include egg or tutor moves; several Galarian pokémon lack pokédex entries, abilities, and forme changes; and the "weaknessess" section in performance covers the move types and not the pokémon's typing. I'd appreciate if these were fixed. Should they be improved I'll rate five stars.
I give it a 4 because i cant rename the team and that's all. But i think its a cool tool so we pretend battled me and my brother with tge stats its a very useful game. But tge rename is just the problem and i think you should add more number of teams that would really improv it.
in order to improve the app you could add the options of "evolution/ evolved" to the teams Pokemon. eg, i have a Beadrill that evolved from a kakuna in a pokemon RED that i started replaying, it only knows the move *harden* and i can't add the move 'cus is not lernoble!
It doesn't take into account moves from pre-evolutions, tutor moves, or egg moves. The performance screen doesn't show resistances or team weaknesses.
This app is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Only one thing to add, please add a way to scroll trough pokemon without leaving the description area. Also could you add shiny varients if thats not too much work because this game is already amazing
Ok so I really like this game. but it has 2 errors that pissed me off. first of all there are no regional variants(Alola Forms) and secondly There is only midday form Lycanroc and it actually shows the picture of a Nidoran
It's all good and I really enjoy but I give it a 4 for a lot of reasons, actually just one, why was aqua jet remove from Wartortle, I used to love when I put aqua jet on my Wartortle but for no reason you guys remove it, please fix and I will give a 5 if added
This App is amazing and i installed it yesterday, but there is 1 problem. Whenever i came back to it today, my team was gone! I have no idea what happened. please fix.
I love the app, but I don't like that you can't choose a regional or gender variant, or shiny for a team. Once that's fixed I'll give five stars.
It kept crashing on me with the first installation, so I unistalled last year on December 28 and have just today re-installed this app. If not for that, I'd've given it 5 stars instead of 3.
Really handy for planning a pokemon team to train up in advance. However though it knows different region variants. Once selected it just chooses the original form.
This app is good. But I spent a good few hours making teams yesterday. I go on it today and those teams are no longer there. In fact all of the teams I have made have disappeared.
Very good! I love the coverage, it helped me a lot during my game, I'd be in a tough spot without it. I wish for weaknesses that you didnt add in the different type moves the pokemon has, like if I teach my squirtle stone edge it'll say it has rock's weaknesses. And some moves are missing from the learnset on some pokemon, I'd look into it. Also wish you didnt have to redo moves when your pokemon evolves. And a reccomendation: Items and abilities would be cool. Thanks!
