TeamSpeak 3

It is a pretty solid ts3 app, you can basically do almost everything you would want to do with a pc app. But it stops using my mic after about 1 min if I go to another app or lock the phone. When I'm in the app itself it's completely fine and works well. But still very annoying. Looked for any possible settings and the app has background usage enabled. Still no mic usage in background. 4 stars then. Upd: doesn't work with Bluetooth headphones. 3 stars.

Samsung Galaxy S9+ It technically works.. ish. Loooot of glitches. Crashes, black flashing screen, hit and miss audio. It's just voip, imo, it's not THAT complicated of a program to be riddled with so many issues. Huge fan of desktop TS, but the the mobile version has ALWAYS been borderline unusable across multiple phones over the last like... six or seven years.

Something crazy is happening with the channel chats. It's impossible to read the older messages because messages list starts to scroll down for no reason. I scroll up it scrolls down. Why? Please fix. I can't use my Bluetooth earphones with the app when "phone calls" are on. So you have to struggle with that switch if somebody calls you and back to hear the app. Why? Channels don't remember the password. Why?

After paying for the app, its been over a year and its still not usable. App locks up on switching applications, or just sitting for too long, people can still hear me/i can hear them but the UI is 100% unresponsive after it was "fixed" multiple times requiring killing the app or restarting my phone new update: same issues, just leave the app open, switch apps and it stops responding. it also has a really annoying bug that if you open any other app that uses audio, it will switch to loudspeaker

The most powerful tool you will have in voip software hands down. It integrates with other software easily and has much more versatility than apps like discord. TeamSpeak3 server set up is for experienced IT users and savvy developers but if your looking to join friends servers and navigate channels then that is easy and stright forward. Talk to PC users on the go, host seminars and enjoy encrypted communication to protect your intillectual property and play around with all the awesome features.

Constantly disconnects from server when not on WiFi. Useless for sustained use if your connection is moving between cell towers, like in a car. If it had an auto-reconnect feature it might be okay, but it doesn't, nor does it notify you that you disconnected. So you have to keep a constant eye on it.

It doesn't feel like this app is maintained at all. Probably developed years ago and kept somewhat compatible with minimum resources. Certainly not worth buying. - look and feel of the app is not anything like Android and makes the app difficult to use - Audio/voice work - Bluetooth worked only after trying around for an hour - settings don't work properly, especially for BT headsets - identity import is broken, and won't be fixed (quoting the developer)

UI nightmare: - dialogs with checked checkbox "never show again" reappear constantly - utterly unintuitive server settings list Security nightmare: - what the heck do you need access to all files? For configs? Is it 1995? And finally it doesn't effing work. Using BT headphones. No sound was made whatsoever. No matter if "use bt" is checked or not. (Brings the question to mind, why not have Android manage audio?) Uninstalled. So sad. (This is the polite version of my review)

In times where privacy should be very important to everyone, this is the only viable alternative to discord and others. Unfortunately the app used to work fine, but now it keeps disconnecting or people don't hear me anymore. I'm mostly using it in the car via Bluetooth. Not acceptable for a payed app. Please fix asap and I'll change back to 5 stars!

Super upset with how poorly this app performs when compared to the one on PC. I can't even hear my friends talk but they can hear me clear as day. It worked fine on my old phone but now I have a 5G one and the signal is stronger than steel yet my friends sound like they're in a tunnel. Fix your app teamspeak. March 20, 2021. App still isn't fixed still runs terribly I can't understand any of my.friends for longer then 0.2 milliseconds and now the app constantly freezes and crashes.

This App works great except for the fact that the audio quality is bad. Listening to music through teamspeak is really not a viable option on mobile unless the sound quality is improved. Edit: The app won't let me connect to any server on wifi or cellular network. Complains that "server connection could not be initialized" even though internet is working 100% in every other app.

App does not properly release proximity sensor on Galaxy S9+. Causes screen to turn off when not on any kind of call. Have to force quit to release sensor. Best app for low bandwidth communications. Works when no one else does. To the people complaining about the servers they have, don't you have remote administration?

Does what its supposed to, but on my rooted and tweaked handset it kept crashing to home when I'd swap to another app instead of hanging around, logcat logs later show it as a force stop for failed root/SU access, because the App had no need for it. Granted I'm also not a new hand at fixing bugs or odd issues like random priv errors, anyone who's played with UAC when it wants to act up knows what I mean, but I couldn't get it to behave even with messing around and recompiling all my extra stuff like xposed modules. Please fix the background issue, or stop attempting to escalate to root on 7.1, something. Other than that, does as its advertised and I couldn't ask much more than that.

This was a really decent app, and I found myself using it a good bit when not on my PC. But recently it just outright refuses to connect to a server. I haven't changed any settings or anything like that. It just sits for ever saying connecting. Waste of 99p imo.

The app works fine overall, except for the sound. I keep having lagg or robotic friends every few sentences they say. The entire time, no matter if I use 5G or wifi. But when I swap to discord we can talk for hours without problems. Even when I didn't change my situation. Please fix, I've been using TeamSpeak for years and always loved it. Even the pc version is so nice to use.

Only uses phones mic and speakers even if headphone is plugged in. And to make it worse the sound from the app interferes with itself and causes a disturbing noise that is lauder than the voices of other people. Tried to switch mic and speakers in settings, but there are no additional options beside voice call (which is ignored and uses normal speaker and mic) and music/mic (which is exactly the same as the other two). Tested on 2 phones (Android 7 & 9) and 3 headphones. All the same problem.

Wow the app is totally a mystery in how to use it. There is the voice that keeps informing you of activity but the volume is so low you can not hear unless the spraker is to your ear. No way to find a channel you might be interested in as far as I know. No help guides to look at so gurss better go online to try to find something. Hope it works good and I can figure it out. People seem to use it on there network rsdios.

First bought on an iPhone 7 years ago. Have it now on my Android phones. Still randomly crashes after 10 seconds after entering a server, and my phone needs to be restarted to get the application to run again. Just like old times. Added a star because it at least lets people know I left the office.

Absolutely useless, this should not have to be paid. I feel robbed, me and my friends have a youtube channel, and we have been trying to find a better way to talk, we use team speak on the computer, but my commection is bad and doesn't work, so they told me to try this, which i had to pay. It took me hours to connect the server, the sound was very low and my microphone barely working, then my microphone stopped working, like not even with headphones would work... Absolutely worst app ever.

I like the UI, but the crashes are really annoying. i'm running this on a oneplus 6 on android 9.0. everytime i open it after i leave it for a while, it just crashes. i have to force stop it in the settings to make it work.

I see a lot of negative reviews for this, however I have not had any issues for what it's worth. Connected to our server inside our network and outside the network. Stayed connected and worked great. Your mileage may very but for .99 it is worth trying if you think you could use it.

Most of the negative reviews for this app are from people who have found this app thinking that it is simply an app and nothing more. TS is a PC based software for voice communications and I've been using it for 4 years now without an issue. It's so much easier and has a much more in-depth permission system than discord, allowing you to administrate communities with ease, it allows for plugin support to help tie in with games but most importantly it works, and it works well, all for free.

Honestly. Dreadful. Since I bought this app over 2 years ago, it's only ever managed to keep me connected to a server for less than a minute before playing some god awful static and hanging. I could make a better damn client if they made the protocol public.

BLUETOOTH HEADPHONE SUPPORT DOESN'T EXIST!! I cannot count the amount of headphones I have tried to make this app work with BT. N one work in listening mode, they all work on speaking but I cannot hear any off the participants. This needs to be fixed, also the overlay completely makes the downpull from notifications inoperable. Functionality otherwise good but destroyed by miniscule functionality. I would love to be beta if you are willing to finally tackle these issues.

I cannot accept licence agreement just because there is no way to do it: all I see is 4 lines of text (last is "table of contents"), 2 working buttons "reject" and "send" and disabled "accept". I cannot scroll view, there is no interactive elements except these 2 buttons.

It's very difficult to operate with the app with such a horrible user interface. On top of that, when closing the app, the microphone becomes completely unusable — it stops working on every single app unless I restart my phone (Android 9).
