I like the app, but its functionality on a mobile network is proving to be problematic. The windows version works pretty well, but the mobile app is where I'm having an issue. I added my mobile device as a secure connection and granted easy access. On my network it works very well. Login from mobile access requires a password that appears to reset each time the desktop is restarted. I can't log in without the latest password. 😕

After connection is established, the display makes an adjustment and if the pinch to zoom is carried prior to the display's adjustment, the streaming of the remote display freezes, with control of the remote display inoperable. This has been a problem for past few years. TeamViewer refuse to acknowledge my messages, so the solution is to use AnyDesk. No freezing, works reliably and no obnoxious nag screen! Give it a try!

Have used TeamViewer for over a decade now and there is no competition. The responsiveness, the data it uses when connected and the color accuracy as well as frame rate is unique in comparison to all other solutions. And this is all for free. If I ever have a company that needs this type of software I won't hesitate to choose TeamViewer

The image gets stuck randomly, and almost every time you open or close some program, or basically every time there is significant movement on screen. You then have to reconnect again, do maybe a few clicks and restart again since it gets stuck constantly. It's a bit better if you use a single program at a time, but it still gets stuck. I guess it's usable, but just barely.

I've been a user since 2011. This app was solid for around 10 years. The more complex it becomes, the clunkier and conveluded the interface seems to be. Constantly being signed out in a corporate environment in 2022 is more than frustrating. I presume this is a work in progress so will check in again on my review in 6 months.

Great app and I'd love to give 5 stars...BUT... I've been incorrectly flagged as commercial use. There is a process to rectify this and I've followed it but after a week there is still no response. There is no other contact with the company to get help as a free user. The only recourse is the one I've followed and it seems they just ignore you. It's great they offer free access to non commercial users (like me) but if they aren't going to actually deliver then stop advertising it!!

I am living far away from my family. My mom's phone had problem and I wanted to connect and fix it. But it did not work. It keeps saying "Activating TeamViewer". For the God sake what you are activating. I just wanted to connect quickly and fix the issue. But software failed me. I used this software on computer, but on the phone it is just trash. It did not solve the simple problem, why I should trust on this and consider this app for the bigger projects. You should hire better developers maybe.

Love being able to assist a customer at a stoplight or in a parking lot. Wish it was free for commercial use too, but everybody has to get paid somehow so cant fault them for that. I have tried quite a few remote assistance services and i always liked teamviewer the best. Customer service picks up the phone in less than an hour too! Sounds like that should be a given but many dont even offer phone support anymore and those that do..well..lets just say you could read War and Peace while waiting.

TV is now practically useless junk on your devices that also wastes your bandwidth and time as the timeout "feature" makes it impossible to use for some actual work. You need to so-called "upgrade" by paying. Or, better, switch to a really free for personal use app that actually works and doesn't clusterbomb you with irritating popups and ads. 03/05: Didn't have the patience, so removed it when it timed out on my very first session. Flagging should be after some verifiable data as to its usage.

FANTASTIC! I used this app so I could remote parent my son and help him with schoolwork. I've used the chrome version before but couldn't due to classroom security policy. Access was quick to connect, and in remote mode. With handy, idiot proof controls I could scroll his doc and add comments. I used android to his PC, AND I had an active call to his cell, no problems. I think it's free for individual users like me. I NEVER give feedback, but this app was so perfect. Thanks.

Liars! I submitted a request to unblock account and no response. Very disappointing. I was blocked suddenly. I am required to subscribe to professional liscence. I am using this app only to access my personal computer. I am not a business. I have not yet mastered the app. The app is full of bugs that makes it hard to connect. The connection if any is highly unstable. Also very sluggish control.

I used to have this at 4 stars but a few things have changed my mind. The battery optimization of this app is abysmal. Even while nothing is happening, TeamViewer will use 50% cpu. This is not acceptable. Furthermore, image capture software (such as SnagIt) seems to malfunction while using TeamViewer. --------------------- Update 04/28/2022: Performance has improved a lot. Power consumption is still not optimized.

An update to my previous post. I've discovered that the App doesn't work on any of my devices if I'm connected to my home broadband WiFi network. It's stuck on "activating TeamViewer" and doesn't allow me to sign in. BUT it works fine if I'm using my mobile phone data network. Please fix this issue.

Nerds only. This app shows its pedigree as an IT tool - from back in the day when sysops were a thing. The app drops you in at a login screen filled with jargon and no obvious way to create a new account, and leaves it to you to discover the various other apps you may need to install and setup as well. As a relic of poor UX it's a valuable addition to the Play Store. If you want good features, secure code and ease of use look elsewhere. RDP would be better if it supported Android to Android.

For a long time I've heard TeamViewer is good, just tried it for the first time since I don't really need it before. Quite a bad experience, it's so noisy. Tried to connect, have to make account. Tried to connect again, got warning about requiring paid plan for custom module or something. I am just trying to connect to portable TeamViewer desktop. Managed to continue nevertheless, played around and thought it was quite nice. Got disconnected in less than 5 mins. Found better alternative instead.

This has been a very helpful tool for me in my line of work as well as in my personal dealings. I have been using TeamViewer for about 10years now. Interesting to note that they haven't changed their strategy but rather getting better in the technology and with enhanced tools

Stupid update, I'm trying to enable touching on android to pc. It took me 1 hour and I didn't even found it. You can only watch your parthner's screen If you're on mobile or tablet device... EDIT: There's a way inside your settings on pc need to change to full access for meeting... everything is there just moved to diffrent tab and I didnt found it...

Overall great app, but needs some added features. When you lose connection and the app is reconnecting, it would be really nice to have some sort of spinning wheel or progress indicator, as it makes me a bit antsy when I dont see any progress. I would also really like to see controller support so I can play my pc games from my phone over internet, AND when you hold down the w a s d keys, it needs to tell the phone to interperet it as holding a key, not requesting a special character or captial.

I've used TeamViewer to remotely control laptops and phones off mine for years and have only ever had a few minor issues signing in. I appreciate that they don't charge anything if it's for personal use, and don't limit the functionality. While I'm not speaking as someone who uses or needs remote access often the times I have it was very important, and TeamViewer has never let me down.

I love it! very simple to use and a real time saver when you are that one person in the family who knows about "them computer things". Super nice that it is free for non-commercial use. It really makes helping friends and family something you don't mind doing

Tried Microsoft RDP and it just worked, but this didn't work out of the box and couldn't even get it to work. I could connect, but couldn't open anything and the touches vere unresponsive.

Zol. J. May 15, 2022

this is my go-to software for years now. it's free and works all the time. it makes me easier to reach my network pc and get some data from there instead of always sync with my phone.

Cre. M. Apr 7, 2022

This app is amazing! With a 7" smartphone I was able to connect remotely to my desktop computer and search for files and photos without glitches and lags. I am impressed.

Works well for what I need it for, that being remote aceess to my own PC. There's noticable latecy on the partner's end, yet it doesn't seem to affect accuracy of cursor position. I do wish there were more you could tinker with in the settings to make it better for poor-wifi settings, as is the case in my house sometimes.

Kir. D. Feb 23, 2022

Newer versions have been much better about not having components of the app in the way on the screen. I love auto hide feature for the session list cut the client too. I just wish it wouldn't wipe my connection and password list on every update. Fortunately I only ever use it to connect to one pc on my local network, so it's not too annoying. Also, it doesn't handle swipe input at all well, duplicating words. Other than that, great app.

Of all the mobile based remote access apps, I love me some TeamViewer. The new interface was much simpler to navigate on my first try. I didn't hate the old interface, but I wouldn't rate it as high as the new one. Even though I use a different software for business access, TeamViewer is still a great app to use for my personal computers.
