TEAPP - Autism and videogames

It is a video game that promotes the learning of children with autism, with special emphasis on the playful factor and the fun.

Everything takes place in a 3D world, composed of three islands with their own topic each one, as well as the exercises, missions and pets that we will find in the islands.

Taking this in account, we look for an alternative to the apps that have been developed in the education sector, defending the idea of learning while having fun, as well as encouraging the inclusion of people with autism in the world of video games.

TEApp is available in Spanish, Basque, English and French.

I tried this game with my autistic 6-year-old son. We enjoyed the matching the picture and the word to what was shown on the dice. It seems that some of the game is a bit repetitive and my child can lose interest quite easily. I like the concept and I think it is a cute and well-made game. If there were a lot more things to play with from the beginning we would enjoy keeping the app, however my child did seem to get bored quickly with the limited access. I do enjoy the game.
