The timing is always off, impossible to trust the ETA, it's basically a different view of a static schedule, useless for real time.
So I just had to quickly buy a ticket here since my mobib card ran out and it did everything it had to (except a small issue I already wrote to the support. To register and enter my birthday I couldn't do it manually but had to scroll all the way from 2021 to 1997)
SNCB ticket purchased through the app does not show!
- Impossible to use the app with mobile data. You have to struggle like crazy just to buy a ticket; I couldn't jump on the bus cause, due to covid it's impossible to buy a ticket inside the bus nowadays. This rule seems stupid, they should be able to find a way to let ppl pay in the bus. - my account has disappeared suddenly even though I had some tickets still available. The customer service helped to unlock my account very fastly though. This app needs improvements
We came to visit Liege for one day. There was not any possibility to buy a ticket at the station so I decided to install the app. At first I wanted to buy a day pass, but the info that says it's possible in the app is a lie. So we decided to buy the much more expensive single ticket. I bought for two people a single ticket, activated them and one of them disappeared. I never used such an customer hostile transport company ever.
Confusing. Can you or not buy a ticket with this app and how? It s a well kept royal secret. The TEC comments here say YES. EDIT: what they don t tell : first you have to get approved as a buyer - takes 1 day. Don t put a foreign address, you ll get rejected. Eventually you pay. Tickets still don t show in the app. The app needs to download some data. How long it takes, no one knows. Everytime you reopen the app : the tickets are gone! All this is not in the help files. It s a guessing game.
The experience is very poor starting from the account creation.
Very slow app in loading content. Tickets purchase easy and convenient.
Yall should talk to the people who made the STIB app! To get a better idea of what people actually need / want. Waste of space on me phone :)
What a waste of time!!!!! Worst operator ever. Look at de Lijn s app and learn how to make useful apps.

Worst app I've ever seen. Nothing works as you'd expect it to. It's crazy unintuitive, I end up taking 20min for something that should take 5, and I'm a software developer, normally not too bad at figuring these things out... After filling tons of forms and wait for manual confirmation so you can buy tickets for your kid, you also have to get a card and wait for it to arrive through the mail. Then you get a pass online and after you've paid it says it will arrive on the card... tomorrow. Absurd.
Garbage... It works one time a week and when it's the case, then buses don't even come... Not only this app is useless but the TEC too :):
Really slow
Horrible user experience. You have to fill in a lengthy registration before you can buy a ticket. Could be ok if you have to use the app daily, but I missed my airport bus because I could not remember the password of my previously set up password.
