Fast and reliable identification of spare parts for Android mobiles – useful for workshops, distributors, sellers and car owners alike!Using the new 'TecDoc Catalogue Mobile' app, you can easily search for the correct replacement part for your vehicle anytime, anywhere!Thanks to the 'Article Search' feature, you can search for spare parts by entering any number – this can be the article number, OE number, trade number or other comparable number. Alternatively, you can simply scan the barcode with your mobile device to search for a part. The found articles are shown in full including comprehensive product details, pictures/documents and associated vehicles.Use the 'Search via Vehicle' feature to find the right spare part for a specific car, commercial vehicle, motorcycle or engine. This can be done by selecting a vehicle, entering the VIN number or a country specific number plate.The 'TecDoc Catalogue Mobile' app allows you to also perform an 'Authenticity Check', which will validate the authenticity of the spare part. The products must therefore be labelled with a unique identification number in the form of a data matrix code – i.e. the MAPP code (Manufacturers against Product Piracy). All you have to do is scan the MAPP code on your article to have complete peace of mind that your article is genuine. In order to keep you well informed, the app contains links to all TecAlliance social media channels such as YouTube, Facebook, Xing, LinkedIn etc.The app is based on the comprehensive TecDoc database and includes the original manufacturer data of more than 650 aftermarket brands and millions of articles for the worldwide vehicle fleet. All relevant information like technical properties, product images or descriptive documents are shown for each article.As a promo edition for the Automechanika 2016 the TecDoc Catalogue Mobile is now available for smartphones or tablets free of charge till the end of the year (then via a low-cost subscription further obtainable).

App always returns 404 not found. after I purchased the monthly subscription. It only worked for a day after that it stopped working. been 3 days now.

Rather pointless to advertise as a "light version" when there in nothing you can do on the app, unless of course you are willing to pay.

Originally a great app but since just after they started charging for it again, I've been constantly having to use the "restore subscription" option, now it tells me my subscription is active but gives me unauthorised access messages when I try to search or see product detail pages - consequently I've cancelled my subscription and I'll be seeking a refund for this month. Understandable if it was an amateur app, but this is a premium product from a supposedly professional company! Update: I've been in frequent contact with one of the troubleshooting team and they got it working well around May, but now (once again) it's not working and I'm still paying for it (they've never offered any compensation for the lack of service).

It says you can use the app for free for general purpose to check but everytime you want to go into the search it stops you from using it and says you must upgrade and pay for the service... very disappointing that you have to pay to use a app because there's loads of other site's and apps that do the same for free and we already pay for the data usage.
