Its a great on hand option for help needed & quick answers verses calling around, being on hold half or all day, wasting time, or going to a verizon store. It saves alot of aggravation! You communicate by texting with a tech so if around others, no audible to be heard. Excellent tool!

Not worth your time, spent hours on the phone trying to resolve the problem. The techs are not considerate of your time, even had different techs trying to fix the problem and each time having to explain the problem all over again. All this on multiple calls, never got resolved ended up getting a different phone. Each time also the techs would reset my phone back to factory settings losing all my info if the first reset didn't work why keep doing it over and over again?? NEVER AGAIN !!

I gave it a 4 because I still like to actually talk to people. Everyone is very friendly and really try to help but I have a problem with my phone nobody can figure out. I'll give the techs a 5 for effort!

Not happy that Scanners aren't protected under the Home Protect policy. Especially, after I told them on the phone, when ordering the policy, that I had 2 scanners. They never said they weren't covered. But, the person I spoke to, was very nice.

I seldom write reviews, but after seeing a few negative ones here I had to put in my own good word; they've helped me out with several technical issues and always resolved them, although once was a less than perfect experience. Nobody's perfect when it comes to C/S.

I've noticed when your working with someone and you have to call back you get someone else. I've wasted so much time with my last 2 issues, it makes me feel like I could save myself a whole lot of money getting different protection. the techs I talked with were friendly, but again you waste a lot of time going back and forth. now I have to call back to talk to tier two.

Haven't had a current one yet. But normally the techs are very friendly and knowledgeable. They keep trying until the problem is fixed. One time a tech fell asleep while trying to help me. Not complaining, I thought it was a LOL moment.

This paid service used to be amazing. 90 seconds at most to get a tech on the phone. Now Asurion (I'm assuming), has instituted an idiotic, un-skipable mandatory 3 minute wait BEFORE you're put into que. The techs themselves are great, but Verizon/Asurion need to clean this up.

Really useful if you have time to kill, or, want to buy the latest plan/program they're selling. Person I chatted with left me hanging for half an hour when said he'd be back in two minutes so he could research my issue. Jack wagon just wanted me to buy more insurance. Had the answer to my problem in the first 30 seconds, just wouldn't tell me until after the pitch. Really ticked me off.

Useless. Techs are not technical. Google Assistant showed up on my phone and I did not know how to get rid of it. The tech coach thought I was talking about the internet browser. I tried several times to convince them it's not the browser. Instead it's a page on my home screen on my phone. Frustratingly they kept asking about the internet browser. It was like talking to the wall. Then they closed the chat window without any warning.

App was extremely glitchy and no one seems to answer in a timely manner. When someone finally answered the support was great. But if you're going to tout 24/7 support you should at least try to make said support accessible on the first try. And not give web links that won't let you submit anything.

Really? ASURION/TECH COACH that is all you have, a phone # to claims dept.? Are you throwing in the towel due to the fact you are not able to provide Tech Support to your customers, just a refurbished phone. My device is not the problem. The carrier, the carrier apps, and lack of tech support are the problems. Read your reviews; I am not the only one; hold techs accountable and start providing what you advertise. Like, 99% of issue's handled in one call. Please give me the one call. Please!!

I have tried to get tech assistance from this app many times. The waiting time to reach a tech coach is unbearable, it causes me to be irritable by the time someone is finally available. They were only able to fix the issue once. So, when they tell you they are escalating your issue up to the next level, that is just their way to get to rid of you because they can't fix it. Don't hold your breath waiting for the next level to reach out to you, because its just never going to happen.

OMG I love everyone at tech coach. I immediately have them follow me in my phone & each one has been amazing. Each coach has went beyond expectations for me. They're all so easy to talk to and eager to help. We've laughed and still resolved issue. I call them the great and powerful Oz. Unfortunately I have had bad experiences with my local Verizon employees but that's ok cuz I got tech coach! MUST UTILIZE THESE INDIVIDUALS YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED! They ARE the great and powerful Oz!

Upgraded my phone, I have tried the new service numerous times, it takes at least 10 minutes just to get past the opening rigmarole and to an actual connection question. The new default response has been to reset your phone to factory settings for just about everything I've asked them. Sad that the service is no longer that helpful and very time consuming for a chat connection 😔

This is a phenomenal tool for troubleshooting your phone for network and actual phone problems. I don't like that you don't always get the same tech you were working with previously and that they cannot see your previous chats (so you have to explain the problem again each time.) But if you don't mind the redundancy, this does work well. They managed to fix one problem remotely and while in the end I am being sent a replacement phone, it was great never having to go to a physical store.

The app used to be fantastic! Just recently added are voice prompts that encourage you to text instead of phone. This is a real time waster when you're trying to reach a human being on the phone so that they can join viewing the phone with you as you both speak with each other to solve the problem. The voice prompts asks twice for you to enjoy the texting experience! Sometimes it even hangs up while you're waiting to get back to the phone aspect. How frustrating for the customer!!

Tech Coach is now a totally unprofessional and dysfunctional app! Before 2017 it was one of the best apps out there. Since then it is all but worthless. For the last 2 years, instead of answering calls on the first 2 or 3 rings, it now has become impossible to reach anyone there by phone or chat. In the past 1 1/2 years the 'live phone call' Button became next to Impossible to actually talk to a live Human. The managers who run it should be terminated from their positions!
