The app is ok. It can be down sometimes and lag/be very slow at others. I'm not sure who manages this at Tech CU but they don't do a very good job.

They definitely protect your account from fraudulent charges by freezing the account. They will call to confirm if your purchasing something that is over a certain limit.

Needs Attention- The app stopped working after upgrading my phone to Android Pie. (Samsung S9) The login screen hangs and after some time throws up a flashing screen that says - Service is temporarily unavailable. Please reboot the device and try again. Did the reboot and it doesnt help. Even uninstalling the app and reinstalling it didn't help. Completely stuck. EDIT: Thanks for the prompt and quick turnaround. With the new version of the app that you mentioned, things are working great again! Also changed my rating.

App works fine for checking balances and managing stuff. Never seems to work when I want to use mobile deposit, usually has a 20% success rate. Always tells me corners of check aren't visible or can't be read when the picture is clear and corners are clearly visible. Updated the app to automatically take pictures and seems to always be blurry, it allowed me to take my own photo once, but reverted to auto capturing after that.

The app is straightforward, clean, and unambiguous. I've never really had any issues using it; my only request is that notifications be sent when a deposit or withdrawal is made, there may be a way to turn that on but I can't seem to figure that out so I'll chalk it up to user error, otherwise there's nothing wrong here. If you bank with Tech CU it's a great tool to have that will save you many trips to the office/ATM.

Mobile deposit feature is broken. The photo taking experience is improved, but i wish i could still manually take the photo instead of the doing it automatically, however, i can't seem to do mobile deposit anymore. I get an error. One check is a very clean payroll check and the other is a personal check. I tried with different contrasting backgrounds but fails every time. please fix this.

The experience at my fingertips. Update 13Aug2021. Another year and nothing but positive experiences. Deposits, transfers, etc., via online is quick, simple, and convenient. Thank you again TechCU. Update 10Aug2020. It's been almost a year and the TechCU mobil banking experience has not changed. The service I get is top notch. Thank you again.

Very good app. Can't do everything on it (look at pending ACH deposits, that must be done on the website). Overall, it allows you to do most basic operations. PayPal transfer feature is very helpful.

Terrible interface, still can not find a way to simply make a payment on my loan, the only thing the app actually does effectively is show balance and transaction history. Unusable.

Overall has lot of nice features, but has a few glitches sometimes. Transactions made on app sometimes shows up twice or incorrectly. I made a funds transfer to my visa on app and it shows twice on the web and not at all on my visa account on the app

Overall good but on Google Pixel3 the fingerprint biometrics fails sometimes. Nothing happens when you touch fingerprint scanner. The red fingerprint icon on front does not being up the fingerprint popup sometimes and hence the SignOn does not happen with finger scan.

This app is finicky and slow to get updates. For instance, it doesn't accommodate face unlock in 2020. Update October 2020: face unlock available. Still incredibly slow and dated UI.

We only have a loan with TechCU and this app is completely useless. I've never seen a banking app that was so user unfriendly. The app shows our loan is being paid by an ACH source but gives us no way to view, edit or remove said ACH info in order to use a different payment method.

It's very buggy for an app that is for clouts for Technology Credit Union. I just re-downloaded it because it would let me log in for a week. The error just kept telling me to "come back shortly".

Easy to use...love the quick view of accounts. App is easy to use. The mobile deposit is great, although sometimes it won't read the check if it's written with a sharpie or thick pen.

This latest update keeps locking me out. Biometrics works for several login's then stops working, then you enter right password then it locks you out. Had to change password twice, still locked out. Fix login bugs.

Deposit feature is terrible. Doesn't work at all on my older phone and takes many many attempts with a brand new tablet. Useless error message on showing check corners. Nice bank but poorly tested and implemented app.

I have a Solar Loan with Tech CU but they need to bring the feature where i can pay money directly to the Principal Amount rather than any extra amount i pay going to Principal and Interest. If this changes i will change the review. Right now without that pay i am paying extra money in interest.
