Do not use. All it does is index news and open a webview. You keep clicking on add+cookie banners. There's ads every few clicks - and those that fill the screen, take seconds to dismiss and blast music. It uses a strange webview (could be me) which, I suspect, doesn't get security updates. I'm getting strange ads tricking me into installing stuff. I suspect they're not coming from websites like Wired. Poor usability. Plus other reasons.

Update. Developer responded quickly to the issue and it's corrected! Loving the app again! I used to love this app but the frequency of full screen timed ads has radically increased lately. And now I frequently see ads that don't count down and cannot be closed without closing the entire app. I used to LOVE this app but am getting very close to uninstalling it. FRUSTRATING!!

It provides many tech topics from a variety of view points so you're never given a totally biased feed. You can choose which outlets are curated; I personally based mine off of what language the sources were in. There are ads and I really wish that there was a subscription service to get rid of them because the app is great at what it does: offer tech news in an unbiased way.

This app used to be really good. But lately I've been getting ads that won't close by hitting neither the "back" button or the "close" button that's below the ad. I have to force close the app to get the ad to shut down. Update: Still a problem nearly 2 months later...

Fantastic! The app opens fast and goes straight to headlines. Haven't noticed a single ad, so if they're there, they're not very noticeable. Exactly what I hoped it would be and I'm, now, not sure how I got by without it before.

The tech news is good, but the ads have gotten bad. Full screen ads. Once, there was no visible option to exit besides closing the app. I switched back to AppyGeek.

Exactly what i was looking for: a curated collection of articles from the best tech sites. Love it. I'd like to suggest dark mode and the option to save articles for future reading or offline reading, like bookmarks

Everything current across a broad spectrum of areas. Easy to use and quite interesting articles. Very informative.

The app can be much better. When clicking on a site, it is really slow to load. So speed is very important but the app needs speed & consistency...

Good app but the current newest version loads something every few minutes and it annoyingly scrolls all the way back up to the top in "Most Recent" no matter where you are. Also I had to comment on here to report this since "send feedback" just loads sharing options.

This used to be a great app, but now so many ads inject back button advertisements that can't be closed for many seconds, that it has become a complete annoyance and I'm seriously considering to stop using it.

Some ads can't be closed (no X button) & system back button doesn't close it either. Please fix! (Update 11/8) unclosable ads are happening again. Changing rating back to 1 star...

This is such a good application for tech news. It is up to date and easy to use, as well as good-looking. Ads are less.

Looking for a great resource for tech news. This app looks like it would fit the bill but I'm not going to deal with these ADs.... Give us the option to pay for a premium version with no ADs!

Lot's of information -- almost too much. very comprehensive but unorganized except by source. Very redundant -- same stories/items reported from many sources.

Invasive fullscreen ads that you can't close immediately. These are included as well as other ads across the bottom of the screen. Uninstalled.

the new icon encouraged me to reopen the application and come back, the external links are very functional as well... now it is (finally graphics) beauty with functionality

All tech news in one place. Great application. But should work on making the particular article still available to user after switching the app to another watch

Very good mix of news sources. Allows you to reorder and bring your favorites to the front.----- I spoke too soon. I've downgraded my rating from a 5 to a 3. Now this app forces "Most Recent" to the front which contains all the news you don't want to know.

I had hopes for this app, it offers a combination of daily news, including some local news.But none of the sites would work, just the message that the website wouldn't open.I have full Internet service.

The app is really good as I like real time tech news. It has a complete collection of all the tech news applets.

I' ll just keep it short. I love the app but really wish they would just keep the politics out. We get bombarded with it 24/7. Just only want to keep up with relevant news in the tech world.

Really good, lots of different news feeds in one place, easy to read and follow through to original sources etc.

it gives news, but there seems to be no way to curate it. for example, I don't care what's happening on social media platform x. no way to filter that I can see. if there is a way it's not easy to use.

Previously always put off reviewing the app even though I use daily. Since the most recent update there are now lots of sources which has greatly increased its usability for me. Great app, unobtrusive ads, great work.

Tech News is my go to app for....well...tech news. It's fast, easy to navigate and it has a pleasant and uncluttered UI.

Used to be my favourite tech news app but the ads are awful now. They can't be stopped and really disrupt the reading experience. Looking for a different need app now

Good content, well laid out, ads not too intrusive. It would be good to dismiss or tell app not to show a certain story or thread though.
