I used to love this app. The whole point, for me, was to receive alerts for tech deals. I haven't received deal alerts in over a year, however, and have to search for updates each time. I might as well do that in a browser and uninstall the app taking up storage space on my phone. Please fix alerts!

I'll change my review once the search and save option return. Don't understand why those were removed. It seems like the developers are taking steps to deliberately sabotage their app. I know, completely illogical, but it's the only conclusion I can draw from their illogical continuing development for this app. I hope they can make better decisions in the future.

Watch out for the Windows key scam that they advertise. I've pointed out that it's a scam to the company at least 5 times and they didn't do anything or even reply. I've been using the app and website for over 10 years, but this refusal to stop a scam is unacceptable.

Unresponsive. No way to close the app by using the back button. Have to force close it to exit. Overall is a useless app

App is flagged as PUA (possibly unwanted application) that "...impacts the privacy and security of your device..." by bitdefender mobile.

Poorly designed. Slow and cannot exit. Just use the browser, much faster and you can exit.

Great deals are offered if you can get the app to work. It almost always freezes when opening the app.

It become very boring app with cheese deals on products that nobody wants to buy.

Doesn't work on Android 6, but works ok on my Pixel 2 running 8.1. Just discovered the search feature is apparently case sensitive, which in the context of a deal finder app is seriously lame. This app has been broken more often than not for as long as I can remember. Maybe save yourself some frustration and checkout Slickdeals or DealNews.

Feb 21 2018... Latest update seems to have fixed the internet connectivity issue. I installed the update and voila... I'm seeing deals again! My only complaint is that the android backbutton doesn't have any effect in this app. Bummer.

It is great to have easy reach to the Techbargains site on your smartphone, but the app will continuously keep reporting that there is no Internet access when on Wi-Fi. A quick flip off and on the Wi-Fi will make it work again, but it is just annoying to not just work the way it should. I have confirmed the same issue happening on both Android Nougat and Oreo, as well as two different brands of phones, Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy S8. Other than that the app works just as great as the browser site.

This app used to work until the past month or two you updated it with faulty code. Fire whoever is making your app because it's totally unusable. I've already sent complaints to development, but have gotten no replies. I guess your looking to lose all your followers because this is something that should have been addressed by now.

I'm on this app every day and it leads me to such good deals I'm buying things I probably shouldn't on at least a weekly basis. There's some things they could change with the UI and also the individual items page, but the point is that it gets to the deals! Updated 2/9/18 this app has become useless for me the past few days, it keeps saying that there's no internet connection. This has been an ongoing problem, but usually I could close the app or restart my phone and it would work again, now that doesn't work either and others have said it has never let you close it by just backing out of the app. I'm deleting it.

Update, Late 2017: App has become useless. Will NOT work on LATE/Mobile connection, only on wifi, and even then not fast and flawlessly. Original review, Early 2016: Tons of deal but best of lots of categories organizing it all.

After the November 2017 update, has become totally useless. Whether connected via mobile data or wifi, app insists that I'm not connected to the internet. Same problem whether using Android or iOS. As a result, I've removed it from my Android phone and iPad.

I've been using techdeals for years(20?) Frankly was pleased with the website and stuck with it, until this app.. This app had an issue of not being able to close it for long time which wouldn't get fixed with numerous updates and I still kept using it. Then the no internet problem came and wouldn't get fixed with updates again and became slower with refreshing deal pages. I've still waited and gave time and chances for techdeals to fix it but now I've had enough. Uninstalled it and installed a rival app, which is remarkable compared to techdeals altogether. Thanks techdeals, would have never found out unless u dropped the ball.

The app keeps giving me a message that there is no internet. I can open the web page fine in Chrome, it's the app with issues. Slickdeals works great & has a community that asks a answers questions for each deal posted.

Since they started playing around, redesigning their site and their app, quality and useability has suffered. Time to ditch TechBargains and stick to SlickDeals instead. This app is now past it's sell-by-date and needs to be thrown in the garbage.

No internet connection. Don't understand the issue. Used to work. Looks like I'm not the only one with issue and it's been around for a while.
