Teddy Ruxpin

The Teddy Ruxpin itself is great. My 4 yr old loves it, but the app is the worst. I've purchased 4 stories from the app and only 1 synced with Teddy. Sometimes the app connects with Teddy and the stories show which is great, but often it does not connect and is just a black screen. Very disappointed in the app.

Fantastic product. Both of children have gotten a huge amount of enjoyment out of teddy and his stories. My only complaints are that: 1. I wish there were more books, I own all of the ones releases originally and in 2018. 2. That you could have print versions of the book if you don't want to use the iPad. 3. The eyes are a bit bright wish I could adjist 4. Speaker volume can be a bit too quiet 5. 2018 books don't start with the title :( 6. Bluetooth conn. Is tricky at times

help needed. I purchased the book bundle in Dec 2017, after removing the app and reinstalling the app the books I purchased last year are locked and there does not seam to be a way to sync my purchases. attempting to buy the books looks to want to actually charge me again as if the bundle has been changed and is no longer recognized as the same purchase made last year for the same bundle.

Teddy Ruxpin is awesome and my son loves him. However, the app is terrible!! I purchased an additional book and paid for it but app does not show the purchase. The app also has connection issues most of the time which makes is frusterating because there is no visual with the story.

The bear itself is great. But the link to download more stories to him is dead, so if you buy stories on the app I'm not sure if they'll show up on Teddy (I haven't tried because I don't want to spend money if my daughter can't listen to new stories). Other than the download issue, Teddy is GREAT! My daughter LOVES him, and falls asleep listening to the same 5 stories everynight! (my Teddy was preloaded with 5 stories. I know some are only preloaded with only 3)

The app is a nightmare. I bought all the stories for my sons bear. Now 4 of them will not sync to his bear. At $5 a piece im out $20 and dont even have the 4 stories to show for the cost. Tapping on the help button on the app does absolutley nothing. Customer service please contact me!!!!!

so far its okay but for everyone having connection issues with Bluetooth make sure your location on the phone is turned on and it should solve your problem. The instructions should have included it in the requirements.

This app is frustrating, everytime I want to sync it to the bear I have to unistall and reinstall it for it to connect, and all though that is frustrating enough, because of the massive size of the app it takes so long to download. Please fix this

The only problem I'm having with the app is I'm not able to purchase more books for him; "in the instructions it says top right corner click library." I don't even see the option. The only thing I see is connect bear that's it.

The app is incredibly Frustrating! The help button in the doesn't work at all. I purchased ALL the available stories but am only able to access the stories on the first page even though ALL the stories are synched.

Teddy and the app are great. I do wish I could go into the library and click a story to have it start playing (I believe this used to be a thing?). Our Teddy's right paw is not working, so it makes getting to the stories our child wants more difficult.

My son loves his bear, but I've tried connecting it on two different devices and I keep getting "teddy rejected the connection". It doesn't hold his attention for very long when he doesn't have the images to follow along with the story. I loved my teddy add a kid and I'm so disappointed that this doesn't work!

this app sucks. Bought a new book for my child and it will not download to the bear. also, there is no way to ask for help or contact anyone to help you with this. ypu are on your own and if it doesn't work 9h well. Also, I can only see the new item purchased every other time I go into the app. This is a complete waste of money. So angry!

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. the app doesn't connec to the bear and after switching phones the app forgets I made a purchase of all the stories. App constantly freezes and can't even use the free story. Bear is a complete waste. My son wants to play with it but cant do anything with it but stare into its lifeless eyes hoping for a story to be told to him. Just an exspensive hard teddy bear. Wish I could get my money back. Shame since I loved my TR when I was a kid.

Getting the stories on the bear has always been a pain. I recently replaced my broken phone and when I redownloaded the app all of the stories I had purchased were locked again requiring me to repurchase. This is theft.

Attempted to buy more books. They took my $, but the books are still locked. This has obviously been an issue with several people. It's already an expensive toy. Why are you taking people's money for things that should already be provided? Extremely disappointing.

My daughter got Teddy as a birthday present. She loves him just bought the 7 books in the bundle. Its super easy to use synced in under 5 mins. Just make sure you click the button to sync each book.

my daughters love teddy ruxpin. i havent had difficulties syncing teddy to any of my devices. galaxy s8+, samsung tab 2, my wife has a s8. we can sync all devices to both our daughters teddys and interchange them. i just purchased the 4 new books. you have to goto wicked cool toys website and download the new book files to your computer and then transfer via microusb cord to teddy. its very simple and instructions are on website. i wish they would have set this up to do a bluetooth transfer.

books bought, books show in library, not on Teddy. tried resetting, reinstalling app. used different device, nothing. books are just not on teddy. i want a refund. i was stupid enough to buy all before testing if they worked.

I've connected it to my other phone before but when I connected it and pressed his paw it wouldn't show it was just black and the teddy ruxpin was just going on with the story and when I turned him on he wouldn't power on so then my dad had to fix him and the box said no wifi required so mmh

I cant even get this app to download..tried 3 times..i know its a huge app, but geeze, it almost completes and starts over. Im having problems now, if and when it does download, i hope the app does what its suppose to.

My son loves his bear but we are beyond disappointed with the app, it wont even connect so there's no chance of getting more stories, which was kind of the whole point of this toy, yeah? It's so weak that a company would do this to children. He was so excited to install the app and now he's so let down... The least you could do is communicate with frustrated parents, offer your customers some kind of solution or expectation.

We like the doll and app, we just wish all of the stories were on there. We found some of the old books at Grandma's house from the 80's. My daughter wanted to hear Wooly and the Giant Snowzos and Teddy Ruxpin Lullabies 1 & 2.

Won't connect to Samsung S9. Found out you cannot download books from the app, only website on a computer. What exactly is the point of having the app?

This app, much like the company that no longer supports Teddy, is garbage period. They took a once cool kids toy and turned it into a scary zombie that needs a blindfold to cover it's eyes because it can freak kids out. The app is only good for read along stories that are already on the bear. I tried downloading a free one via the app but it doesn't work so don't waste your money payin. Their supports gone. They no longer have the Teddy downloads on thier site. Waste of money and a real shame.

My son loves his Teddy Ruxpin however I have purchased new books on the app and they won't sync to Teddy which is very disappointing. Currently trying to get a refund for these books as I feel like I have just wasted money.

I've been trying everything to get this toy to connect to blue tooth and nothing works this is so annoying it won't even connect to my laptop blue tooth so the toy is just a stuffed bear without doing what it should do this in ridicules

The app isnt connecting to my phone via bluetooth...so the bear cannot work. $100 for a Teddy Ruxbin that doesn't work...great.

Why is this app so big?! Over 500mb! I dont even have that much memory on my phone if I were to delete all pf my apps. Most apps are around 20-30 mb. If I would've known I wouldn't have bought this teddy or paid so much for something I cant use like I intended.

i bought books on my previous device - an iPhone. for whenever reason the book is no longer on Teddy and when i go to download the book there's no record of me buying it? that's pathetic. i feel ripped off.
