Tel-Lynx Connexion (TLC)
The TLC app communicates over Bluetooth to the Tel-Lynx Connexion (TLC), TLC Plus, and Guardian BT. It allows you to access and reply to text messages on your Android phone using your home telephones and PCs. Incoming text message will alert you by ringing your telephones. The app uses your Android's text to speech and speech to text functionality in conjunction with your telephones to allow you to listen to and reply to your Android's text messages.
When TLC is attached to a PC, it works with TLC's PC app to manage your text messages like you do on your phone, but with the convenience of having a keyboard and large screen so you can manage multiple threads at the same time.
Most of the time, the TLC app runs as a service in the background and the only way you know it is running is by its icon in your Android phone's notification bar. When the icon is teal, your Android phone is connected to TLC and you have access to your text messages using your telephones and PCs connected to TLC.
The interactive part of the TLC app allows you to manage TLC's settings when your phone is connected to TLC. We will be adding TLC phone book management in the future.
