Telephone Rings
Like all RCP Tones, the sounds have been carefully edited and mastered to sound excellent on your Android smartphone's speaker. We have even modified each of the ringers with options to gradually increase in volume, or ring once or twice in quick succession.
The latest edition of this app includes four phones (Candlestick, Ericofon, Model 500, Princess) with four tones for each phone (standard, volume increase, 1x ring, and 2x rings). In addition to the tones, we have also provided some photos and information on each phone.
Each tone in our library has been carefully designed and professionally mastered to sound clear and pristine on your Android device. You can browse and preview the ringtones in the app, set them as your default ringtone or notification, or save the tones to your phone's internal memory or SD card.

Very nice - good sounds, easy to use. I worried a bit about the wide-range of permissions it requested, though. I am on Android Lollipop.
This app is great! I hated my electronic ringtone...now my smart phone sounds like a TELEPHONE. Super easy to install and use. Awesome!

4 models of vintage telephone bell rings in different variations. High quality audio and good levels. Guaranteed not to embarrass you in a business meeting. Would give 5 starts but this app is basically a (useful) teaser for the paid apps.
You can test various ones before making a selection. They are indeed old-style ringers. Free & no ads, & ESet antivirus doesn't complain. & I do like the historical notes about each model of phones that provided ringtones.
Does not ask for invasive permissions, not cluttered with adware, sends chosen tones to the proper folder. Well done.
Finally basic ringtones without silly ad's. I wanted a ringtone that sounds like a phone so it separates the phone from other noises.
Straightforward app, allows downloading and setting of ringtones. No ads and has option to purchase more if required. Included are a handful of basic ringer tones.

If you're tired of all the crappy ringers your phone comes with or even the Ringtones you have chosen THEN LOOK NO FURTHER!!! LOVE THIS APP!!!!
Finally a ringtone app that is FREE and WORKS with out all the extra silly tones and advertisements. I have it installed on my new Samsung S4 since I didn't really like any of the rings that came on the phone.

Cannot hear anything
Too long between rings. If you don't hear the first or second ring you will likely loose enough time to miss your call. Little doubt they did this to motivate you to upgrade $$. Update: Found a workaround. Go Settings> Sound> Ringtone and edit the ringtone length using the "Audio" app. This will cut the long pause between rings, play only the first ring on fast repeat. Might be more trouble than it's worth though, if you're not tech savvy. Note to Dev: "not compatible / something wrong with your phone" is a standard dev excuse. Problem is the sound file: TOO LONG BETWEEN RINGS. Doesn't matter what device you play it on. So.. Why don't you fix it? (Raised to 2 Stars because dev at least responded.)
