Tellonym: Honest Q&A

I have used this app for 3 years, and I've loved it. It's been the best anonymous message app I could find. But they just updated it and changed that when you post to Snapchat, you can't just take a pic in snap anymore, adding so many more steps to post a single Tell. It is a waste of time now, and I'm going to be using a different app Why ruin something that works?

decent app and all but the bot comments are incredibly annoying. I get one almost every day, and then if I answer one or get a genuine one, there's more. I've been getting one every two hours for the past six hours. I love this app but it's an incredibly annoying issue. I get if it's a feature, but at least make it so it's an optional feature

It's okay for what I've been using it for, however, I keep having this issue where it lags and slows down my phone if I type a response that's too long... to the extent that, sometimes, it will COMPLETELY freeze my phone for a frw minutes. Cant use the power button or anything... around 4 stars though if I wasn't having this issue...

It's a cool app ngl, but I have a suggestion, instead of paying money for the tellonym plus you could get it for free if you reach a high number of tells, (for example you get a free tellonym plus for 7 days if you reached to 500 tells) the app would be much better!

been using it for years; very easy layout, lots of different people to interact with and conversate with. my only problem is that there seems to be a lot of users that harass other users, and it's hard to get the support you need.

I've been using this app for about 2 years now, but i cannot connect to the app anymore due to "no internet connection". when i boot up every other app like instagram, youtube, snapchat, etc, the connection to those apps are completely fine, but its only tellonym that has the problem.

Very laggy while I'm typing my response and it just hangs, also I don't like that the word filters limits to 10 words. There's so many inappropriate questions that's being sent in but I'm not able to ban all the variations. And I feel that the number of tells shown on the user's profile should reflect the actual no. of tells answered by the user rather than the no. received since some of it gets removed/deleted/reported or blocked.

Constant freezing, I have this year's latest phone from Samsung and continue to face issues only apps of yesterday should have only faced back when Android version 2.0 was out. Fix the freezing and I'll update my star rating on your bare minimum application that really only has one job to do

It's a kinda fun app but no way would I pay €7 a month for it. I think you're a bit deluded when the likes of whisper is free.

There should be an option to turn off bot questions. When I'm using this for online events and for-profit ventures, it is useless to have bot questions. I only want inquiriesfrom people who have questions about the event or profits, not "have you ever been in love" on a professional page. If this was optional, it would make the app much better.

Great app that allows me to share my beliefs and answer questions that I'm usually never asked on a day-to-day basis. definitely Would definitely recommend.

I love this app But I have somthing to say... the new update has a problem, when you enter to the DM center you can see your followers, all of them, including anonymous ones 😳🤦🏻‍♂️😱😱😱 The anonymous follow is useless now!! Fix it please 💔

This app is good. The interface is clear, the safety filter options are impressive, as are the options for following other users, and I am not aware of any glitchyness. However, a major issue I have with Tellonym is the spam messages which clutter up the inbox of those who use it. This makes me reluctant to use Tellonym, due to the fact that I really do not want to reply to a spam bot's message, but also don't want to ignore a question from a friend, so I ask the devs to try to fix this. Thanks.

Edit: I updated it and its worse... it wont even work now. Hi, great app but this has been having a lot of bugs lately, like crashing when I go to click on something and not letting me renew my profile picture... Other than that, you can filter your tells, block certain words being used, and block users regardless if they put in an anonymous tell to you, and select if you only want accounts to send you tells. It needs fixing though.

What gets this app in trouble with me is that I've been using it for over a year and we still can't edit answers. So, if autocorrect makes us look dumb because of grammar "fixes," or we just didn't see bad corrections because we were looking at the keyboard characters we were typing, we have to just live with a stupid looking response. Also, there should be a small DM system. Nothing fancy or complex, just a way for people who hit it off to stay in touch without sharing private info.

As much as I want to give the app a 3 star review, there's too many glaring issues for me that make me unable to confidently give 3 stars. The biggest issue is you cannot register for an account within the app, only allowing you to log in via email or a previously made account. I find it frustrating that I'm unable to sign into a different email once I've logged into another one, it doesn't seem right to essentially lock the app to one email if I have another account. 😕😕

What's with the glitch. It show error in the top and I can't even log in now.

Keeps crashing after answering a single Tell, and can't edit responses.

Didn't even get the chance to describe my experience! First time I singed i clicked on "sign in with google" later on i uninstalled the app and reinstalled it only to find out i forgot which email i used and when i ckicked on "sign in with google" it created a new account for me and when i searched for my old account i found it but had no idea how to access it! U better change how we recover our accounts, instead of need help with login, make it forget password and when we chage it, send email!

Literally 100% of all the "tells" are just bots. Nothing more. This app is a scam and a lie & I'm sure that bots were used to give this app a 4.3 rating. While you responded to bots sending you messages this app will display ads & get revenue while you talk to BOTS. What a scam. I can't believe people fall for this.

If you guys didn't link the insta or snap then most of questions were asked by computer bots...it's a programed just to keep people use this app constantly, I cross checked questions by creating multiple accounts...yup most of same questions...it's addictive and tempting, in some times it's good for training ourselves, but if you link insta or snap or from known people cyber bullying,threats also there nope not safe.....time and energy waste...

The bots are annoying and the app is more buggy than it ever has been. Can't even type a response without the app crashing 😒

It seems like the questions you get from real people have an option to view a hint on wheras the other questions are bots. And if they are bots they're sort of rude. I also had an account that I cannot log back into.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. This app IS AWFUL and the developers don't care about those who are installing it. I lost my old account because I unistalled the app and my picture is still up I have gotten harassing tells and I'm not comfortable with people seeing me without even knowing what tells I am getting so I asked if they could take my old account down or if they can give it back to me and I could prove its me. Spoiler they ignored me and kept it up DONT INSTALL THIS APP.
