tellows - Know who calls you!
Thanks to the tellows score the app displays the nature of the incoming call via a live sync to the tellows servers and you can decide whether to answer the phone or ignore the call. If the calling phone number has an official entry on tellows additional information like name and address will be shown. You may add these details to your contacts with one click. Furthermore, you can rate numbers, comment on them and, therewith, warn your fellow tellows users against potential dangers. The service is free.Features of version 2.0:

I can't tell exactly what the app is doing. When an unknown call comes through, I'm given an opportunity to rate the call. When I try to do that, it says it can't follow through and I should check my connection... which is always good. I've had fewer calls though, so for now, I'm going to continue to use the app.
Call came in just now... Tellows did nothing. No popup. No information. Nothing. Had this app installed, set up and logged in for a week (yes it has all permissions granted that it asked for, and there was a strong & working Internet connection with the call came in). Whilst the idea seems sound, the app seems pretty useless to me.
Fantastic! This is exactly what I have been looking for! It automatically shows the name of the caller like a land line caller ID. It says "scam" whenever it's a # associated with a scam. It keeps a call history log too! The ads are not intrusive at all for the free version
I don't like to leave one star reviews but....I allowed all permissions when I started the app but when I looked at the call history, I did not recognize any number Tellows listed. When I looked at my actual phone history, it showed numbers I had dialed and numbers I had received. I uninstalled quickly. Why would Tellows have a totally inaccurate call history, especially since I allowed all permissions??
"Oops... That's wasn't supposed to happen!"? Edit: It's working on another IP, so I think you guys blocked my IP... I was just verifying some numbers. Edit2: I was using normally than the app showed up this message while other apps was working (the internet). So I tried using other IP from another router/mobile than it worked. So I think I'm blocked. Uninstalling... I will use the site instead.
Great App. Ads are annoying, but premium price is reasonable. Love seeing the tellows score before receiving the call. Love being able to individually rate and score numbers based on my own tolerance level. Very useful. Definitely recommend.
Pretty pointless, with basic bugs (+49123 and 0123 are categorized as two numbers). Moreover, it took me some time to realize the rating is reversed. Bad calls have a higher rating!
Has some good features, needs further development though, as to identify UK/Spanish phone numbers more precisely, the way it does with the German ones. Thanks
So far it seems to do what it says the free version the ads aren't nearly as annoying as other apps. We shall see if it works!
Useless = uninstall The app doesn't have caller info. It seems to just collect info from users. The app requests suspicious permissions to allow 'functions' your phone already has.
Expected some sort of blacklist access. there isn't any. the app tries to crowdsource information about numbers. Legitimate numbers info is limited to area code designation. The app is a vehicle for aggressive advertising. Beware.
It worked with a reduced sets of permissions until the last update. No way I am willing to share my contact list.
This app as shown me more times than not who is calling. Those that think it's no good is because you have not given it the chance to prove itself The more people use this app the better. Be patient and you will see. Well done too tellows. Fantastic service well done.
Im having issues with Tellows not showing its overlay whenever an unknown call comes in. Theres nothing showing just my normal call UI. Ive also given the app all the permission it needs. Is there anything the dev team can do ? Im using an Asus Zenfone 5 (2018) on Android Pie.
Not so bad features, Please fix new design that's why looks so old and ugly. Hope future changed should be great 👍
It didnt block any spam calls. They all still came through and only about 30% of the time the app asked for a feedback rating.
Very half hearted app, doesn't show caller info when calls come in, doesn't show ratings or actually stop calls or block calls

Unable to customize the application to get calls from my contacts only and I am very unsatisfied and disappointed ☹️☹️
So far can't tell-ow what this app does that is of use to me... It let's all the spam calls thru, it tells me that the call is from USA/CANADA, but nothing else yet... ? 😒👎 😬😇
Just quick question. Why do you put an intrusive caller as high score instead? It makes me confused, sometimes.
Good App, unfortunately most numbers are unknown. If more use the app and update numbers, the app will increase in usefulness.
Because you don't have info about caller. All info update by call receiver.
This app helps me identify those telemarketer and the good part is you can participate in providing those kind of information, so the database is always grow and expanding

Trying to make it work, but appears the source/platform is embedded into Wikipedia? Come on why? Do you need money?
Helps block spam calls. Great interaction in sharing results.
Seems to be highly accurate. It doesn't block calls, (which is a benefit for me); instead a rating comes up based on previous user experiences with the phone number. You can read detailed info if a person leaves an in-depth review, which is very helpful. You also don't run the risk of a call being incorrectly blocked (ie a call responding to a job application). It's accurate and the user input adds the extra info that is beyond helpful. Highly recommended
