It's been a very unstable sign in experience for far too long. It tells me my email or password is wrong despite using password vaults (multiple) so it remains unchanged until I actively go to all vaults, online and offline, and change it. What's more is I have biometrics on which still again leads to a sign in error. It's at least every 2 months when I check up on my bill so it is lame to reset it after maybe 3 logins. I deleted 6 old logins now cuz I reset so often. Is it just me?
Please make sure no other devices connect to this app. I've had issues with someone stealing my wifi, and personal info. Thanks guys. I don't use the telus apps alot. I just want to make sure my app isn't used on any other devices. I don't have any other devices. No phones, tablets computers.
Here are the problems: - Very slow startup even in fastest phone, gigabit internet - Can't turn off tips on start page - You can just change Wi-Fi name & password but no option to turn On-Off any admin things such as 2.4ghz/5ghz , assigning static IP to devices etc.. - Can't access USB connected with router. - No option to check for firmware update for router. - No Dark Mode.
This app is now pausing my wifi randomly sometimes multiple times a day. It says Oops something went wrong and I have to click to unpaused all device's. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, extremely frustrating.
The app is constantly saying there are no devices to pause,and oops nothing to see. even after closing and reopening the app. Not being able to pause internet is a huge headache.
Says my boosters are not detected but they are the only WiFi access points I have as my modem WiFi is disabled. The app worked correctly last year. And my WiFi is working perfectly.
This is an updated review as of February 7th of 2022. The app got a lot better and stable and have more control and features now. I post this as of July 17th 2021. The app is improved a lot since e2020 that I start using it. It is no longer crashing and the interface is improved too. However I still think that there are other software that has a better interface. I like the app overall. It is great to have control over your home internet
Used to work better. Lots of little things that don't make sense. App doesn't list all the devices connected to the network. Contacting support through the app is complicated.
Pausing of devices working fine till last week, now suddenly that feature stopped working, can't unpause the already paused devices. Have Uninstalled and installed it back. Contacted support but no use
The password used for web access doesn't work through the app, resetting the password and using a new one password, both via copy and paste doesn't work either
Terrible app as usual and need for tech support to just set up a simple app. It wouldn't work with home account only and when tried to link other accounts as app asked but it would just give account info and no app features. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times with no success. Not so easy as app advertising states. Also not looking forward waiting for hours to get technical support or find answers.
Boosters disappear from the app, with no logical way to fix. Talking to tech support doesn't go anywhere. ... To Telus's reply: yes I tried reinstalling the app... Several times. No dice. I went through all the trouble shooting steps that Telus suggests. Nothing helped. The only thing that worked was completely reprogramming the booster system from stratch to get it recognized again. Takes several hours. It appears I have to do this every 6 months or so. Terrible system.
App looks good and has the information I want but a lot of the functionality either doesn't work at all or takes long periods of time to load
The app is good, but the Devices is not working all the time. After updated, it haven't worked for days.
They've made improvements on the app so it's a bit quicker, doesn't time out too quickly or take 3 minutes to load now, thanks and well done.
This app is useless. It never displays my Boost network, even after cycling wifi, restarting the app, clearing the app data, reinstalling the app, restarting the phone...worthless. Plus side my wife has an iPhone and that app is perfect.
User friendly interface.. only issue is that scheduled wifi pausing is often lagged and not on time. Nice to be able to view wifi usage and the status of the modem and the bill plus much more all on one app.
It was 5* I have deducted a * for every extra time I am asked to rate it after the first time. Thanks for responding Telus and then I got asked once again to rate it...
Which half retarded programmer updated this app? I'm connected to my only home wi-fi and when I try to add a booster it tells me that I have to be connected to my home wi-fi. When I click on wi-fi it says something went wrong. Yeah, the app is wrong. Can someone, not retarded, update or fix the app?
Internet not as fast and smooth as portrayed to be. Speed lacks consistency so makes streaming frustrating. Would rate as just a bit above average.
Other than It being slow with loading and doesn't always register when I edit a device nickname or if I pause a family profile it's easier for me to not have to go to the box, to restart it when it just a simple click of a button on the app
Useless app, keeps crashing. Will change to another service provider.
Does not seem to be capable of detecting my network, potentially due to the network name being changed during technician setup. Device is working fine on the network, but the app can't tell. Cannot progress through the self-setup either, gets to the "connect to wifi" step and cannot proceed. Not much reason to require my Telus login if it isn't even going to sync with my account state.
