They more than doubled their pricing (.10 per minute to .25) with little detectable difference in user interface or quality. This price increase adds up significantly over time. There are very few businesses that can get away with such a price difference. No longer a service I can utilize.
Temi is excellent, the only reason I gave it a 4 is because there is no backup feature. I have to reset my phone back to factory settings and the only recoverable data is the transcript. All of my audios will be lost and I have a ton of recorded content for my business. I will lose almost all of it. I would so pay for a service just to hold all of my audio files. Today is a really sad day lol
You know those memes that went around for awhile that were "I made AI watch x amount of hours and it wrote its own episode of _"? Yeah, that's essentially what this app does. Two stars because of ease of use and at least it's comical. My favorite is the following transcription about cells: "Is that blood vessels? Awesome. Instead of organs. It's better for us to define gangs. Two, two seats for example. At the failure. We have the following. That's comical level. Atoms and molecules. Yeah."
So far I'm rating High because this is the only audio to text program that does not clash with my video Play apps! I can transcribe myself this way and to make sure the text is more accurate, I just slowed the video play down and it works really well. :-)
Love the audio quality and the transcription is great most of the time. Easy to use. Use it fornrecording favorite videos from you tube on my phone and for meetings. Cant figure out how to share audio though.
Excellent value transcription service. 10c per minute with no set up cost like other transcription software. I've transcribed many hours of meeting file notes with Temi and it is averaging close to 95% accuracy, even with my Aussie accent. Highly recommended.
This is a terrible app. I can't hear any of the interviews I've taken and when I've tried to purchase the transcripts, at least 3 of them have not transcribed. I'm deleting and not using this again.
Requires creating an account to transcribe. Only to say that the feature is paid. No way to check the quality before.
It's really good no denying it that's why I'm giving 4 stars however I dont know how to upload?....my only complaint with this is when my dog barks it translates it to "wow"as funny as it is and yes it's funny, I really dont want to read through and keep seeing "wow" every five minutes because my dogs all excited about seeing a pigeon outside 🤦🏻♀️🤣 I'd suggest just maybe improving that aspect
Your android app keeps crashing.. As soon as I pause or hit save it hangs and crashes.. Kind of the main reason for using it..
tried mulitple times and restarted my phone a few times and the app didnt work. Otter is a similar app that actually works and is free (for the most part)
this is by far the best academic tool I have ever used. it is accurate cheap speedy and has many inbuilt features that allow complex editing. thank you temi so much for a lifesaving app
Very good transcription quality and excellent user interface if you are transcribing audio-visuals. Super EZ to use.
Great app but only the first transcription is free. The price after the free transcription is a bit steep at .25 cents a minut. Very disappointing
English recognition is very good. Can u tell us is there any Indian language's(other than English) which can be recognized as that of English. If so where it can be found in the app.
So nice. It helps me to convert record to text. I was searching for a long time. There are no one can same as this app. Thank you for inventing this app.
Best app ever. Made my life so easy and there were few mistakes with the final product. So happy to have discovered it while doing my research
Helpful. Would be better if dictation commands like Dragon would be available. Frequent misinterpretation of medical terminology.
Only giving me option to record. I want to go over my transcripts, the ones that have already been transcribed. UNINSTALLING
Accurate. Even when the speaker is talking quickly, the AI is able to distinguish the words. Just a few typo errors which would be expected based on the quality of the audio at the time. It divides up the transcript into time slots so its easy to link the voice progress with the word progress on the screen. wish i had found this sooner
