Ten (Card Game)

Ten is a new (and free :) trick taking card game that was created specifically for this app. The game has similarities to Euchre, Spades, Whist, and Pinochle.
The app includes a detailed description of how to play and tips that popup during the game to help players coming from Euchre or other trick taking card games, learn the game. The app also includes numerous settings, unlockables, and statistics on your play.

Similar to euchre the game starts by going clockwise around the table bidding to determine the trump suit and the team that will attempt to make the bid. The play is the same as euchre: any card can be lead, you must follow suit, if you have no cards in the suit led you can play any card, and the winner of the trick is the player that played the highest card in the suit led or if a trump card was played, then the highest trump card. The scoring is a mix of euchre and spades, the team that won the round (either by making the bid or setting the team that bid) gets points and the other team gets no points but there is also an immediate penalty for going over your bid.

Ten is a fairly complex game while still being accessible to new players and tries to reduce the influence of luck as much as possible. So if you like Euchre, Whist, or other trick taking card games and are looking for something new, try Ten (also it's free :).

Fun! It took a few games to understand the bidding process and trying to remember what cards have been played is difficult for me, but it's engaging. A landscape option (as opposed to portrait) would be great as it usually makes the play area in games larger, therefore, easier on the eyes when using small screens. Also, prefer to get rid of names on top of cards, maybe with an unlockable option to change names, fonts, colors, backgrounds, speed of gameplay, etc...

Great game. Easy rules but challenging game. Persevere with the game if you are still learning. Impressed with the AI of the computer players. Better to play to 500 (advanced players) as gives you more chance to recover from a bad start. Congratulations to the developer.

I love playing stregic card games, this one is no exception. Your partner AIs do not bid anything like the instructions say. First of all they're sand baggers when it comes to bidding and they don't know how to lay in the weeds when I've won the bid! We end up going over by one or more, sometimes we'll bid six or seven when I don't have much for help and we end up taking all of them! I feel I have to do the thinking for both of us! Your other games the AIs think on their feet so to speak!

Love the game (would give 5 or buy it) πŸ˜€πŸ˜€ but hate that there is no way to stop the sound blaring on ads and everyone in the room glaring at me until I find the mute every time (between almost every game) !!!! πŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺ

Just love this game! Was looking for a bid euchre game (which I still haven't found), but this TEN game is very similar and so much fun. I'm trying to find a way to remove the ads from the game. Any help in that effort would be appreciated. Thanks to whoever dreamed up TEN!!!

I am originated from the area where trumps/ten/200 card game has been invented. The card game was created in south-eastern New Brunswick, Canada. These are not the original rules! If you want to make this game authentic, you need to change a few things. - The 2s, 3s and 4s must be taken out of the deck to play. -5s are worth 5 points, 10s are 10 points, and the A is 10 points. -The A is the highest card; so the 10 doesn't win over the A.

Way too many lousy hands. Game always works against you. Cannot undue when wrong number or suit is accidentally touched, or meant to pass but it was bid instead. Once again way too many lousy hands. Does not even out.

Constant lousy hands. Computer works against you through your partner. The game still has the same problem. Constant lousy hands and your partner working against you.

Annoying ads with sound that you can't mute permanently or otherwise remove.

partner should be smarter when we have no chance to win he should let the opponent take all the hands

It's a good game and fun to play but the graphics and blah details make the play boringish. And no multiplayer which would be nice, the game always plays almost perfect every time

Ami. C. Aug 1, 2016

Not boring like euchre. Can play any long time.very interesting.

Very Attractive

First, the bot bidding seems completely random. Your partner seems to bid and not have any cards in the area of the bidding. Next the bots cheat by playing according to the others hand. This makes it nearly impossible to win.
