A majority of the time this app works as it should. Good indoor and outdoor video and audio. Motion detection and alerts are good. These depend on your connections to the internet, so the faster the better. Unfortunately there are going to be neccessary fixes now and then, but the company has been good in addressing them. Ive been using indoor and outdoor cameras for several years with success, using this app.

The new updates are absolutely awful. Having to press play to switch on the live feed is a ridiculous extra step that only wastes time in a possible emergency. This app has worked perfectly well for years. Adding this time wasting feature now makes absolutely no sense, and it needs to be set back the way it was immediately.

We used to love this app, but ever since they updated there is an extra step to see the live feed. Also what's worse is we can only see the recorded events off and on. Some days it shows them and most days it says we don't have recorded events when all of our settings are set to record events. Super annoying. Edit: Haven't seen recorded videos in months.

This stays in my boys room. It works great for keeping tabs on behaviors. It sends a notification when movement is detected. This is helpful for boys out of bed when not supposed to or for being in their room when not allowed. It also let's me go back and see who did something when I find an issue. Cons: it detects changes in light, so when the sun sets in their room it records every minute of the light change in their room. It can be bumped over easily. It only keeps 24 hrs for free.

Functionally simple. I preferred the app more before recent changes were made because the individual cameras would immediately load after selecting them. Now it requires that the play button be pressed for the camera to be online. I think that was a step backward in design. Overall, this app works well and is simple to use.

UPDATE: As suggested in another recent review, download the TEND SECURE app and sign in as you did before, it works again!!! Yay! I've been using this app with 2 cameras for about 2 years without a problem. In the past week, I'm only able to see anything on live feed, but no clips are saving for review. This seems to be an issue for other people in the reviews as well. I tried reinstalling but it didn't work. Please fix this!

I'll say that for the price of the cameras and how long I've had them. That I'm generally pretty pleased with my service and quality of service. Sometimes if it's A longer video? The audio towards the end will start to not match up with the videos play speed? And there are times when the videos I've downloaded after watching them first! Won't play and are blank? Also if there's movement it should be continuously recorded, & not chopped up into 35-50 second long clips! Otherwise I Love this App..

It NEVER records long enough, it only records about 10 seconds of each event always chopping the beginning and end of every scene. After having for 4 months the one of two cameras I have don't show in app, just a black screen that shows circle spinning and never loading recorded event. Have to delete camera and reinstall before it works again. (I've had to do this atleast 5 times now) I have it set to the highest detection, yet sometimes it doesn't record at all on either camera. I could go on..

Everything is great. Except the motion sensor (one of the main/only reasons I got this product) keeps flipping itself off where motion detection is going from active to off on the settings and I dont know why. Every time I set it to on and go back a day or two later I have no events and I find it's set to off again. Or I will get SOME and then itll turn itself off randomly after a few days. And no I'm not losing connection/ the camera isnt losing its connection or if it's not saying/just reconne

I have been fighting with this app for several weeks now. I noticed I was not receiving motion detected notifications. Yesterday I noticed I could not see any saved videos. I just happened to run across another review that suggested to install the "tend secure" app. So I've been aggravated and fighting this thing for no good reason. Y'all have our email addresses, why can't you send out Mass notifications telling us that there is a new app that needs to be used? Poor customer service.

Works great. Easy to install. Had one camera for 2 years and put in 2 more. It is not perfect but I love being able to zoom in with my phone and watch from anywhere. The only thing I wish they would do is make an app for my Windows computer too. got the app for my computer even better on big screen

Never works correctly! I constantly have issues with this app. It doesn't record anything now even though I have not changed anything. I've Uninstaller and reinstalled, recreated my cameras, and have them set to record events. It. Doesn't. Work. Absolutely useless and a waste of money on the cameras.

When it works,it's pretty good...but it's temperamental...now it's telling me I have alerts...but only shows a blank page when I push the button to view them...I haven't changed any of the settings...sometimes it will send an audio alert along with the on screen notification...sometimes it won't...temperamental...

Well the products and app work fine. App is actually polished compared to what similar companies have available and I would say smooth. Setup is a bit tricky for someone who is not tech savvy but to the average person it should be fairly simple. Ran into a few issues but nothing a good ol reset can't take care of. Overall I would say this is an above average app.

For those who would like a bigger viewing experience opposed to your cell phone you can also add the app onto a Android tablet. I have a 10in Lenovo and it gives great pictures still. My only problem is if you download the clip it gives the present time instead of the time the movement happened. There is an area I can go and put the exact time on the downloaded clip so ck if you want it for possible evidence. Will be 2yrs old Aug-Sept Still a great camera/pic app

The recent upgrade truly improved this app. I dont like the fact that only one camera will record at a time when using multiple cameras. I do think it is Ideal for seeing and hearing, day or night, where camera is if you dont have a need for detailed security survailance. Nice to open the app and see what you need no matter where you are. We use it to see how our teenagers dress before leaving, what time they come and go, and who is there. They dont know the limitations so it works well.

The camera and app started out great, after a few months now it only records about 5 Seconds of every scene and sometimes it doesn't even record then the camera wants to flip upside down whenever I leave my house and it records everything upside-down down. Also the app constantly crashes, I've reported it several times and nothing has yet to be done.

I reviewed this app in August 2020 giving it 2 stars and I stand by that for my experiences up to that point. They have been putting in some work though! The app stability is way better, the only thing that I would like is the ability to share my video feed w/ someone or have multiple accounts connected to the same camera so that my SO can also view the camera feed while away.

all cameras show in one area. it would be great if each camera individually showed and you could see multiple cameras at once, as if they are stacked on top of each other. also, they have bulk delete but NOT bulk download. this feature would be quite helpful.

I thought I would make a review about the reason why the "Playback Recorded Videos" were not working. I contacted the Tend Support Team and they said to download the "TendSecure" app. They are no longer supporting this app and are moving everything to "TendSecure" app because it is more updated. Be sure to look in your settings before removing this old app to make sure you know the right email & password, that way you know your username to login to the new app. I hope this helps.
