Cool app, but like others have said the translation isnt right. Long consonants are not written correctly. Needs fixed and will be great

would like it better if the keyboard could be transfered to Facebook or notepads..with resizable font.

Great job for the most part. A few slight issues with not having both versions of the R so as to follow the R-rule when writing in English, no doubling value line under tengwa, no ending s-hooks, odd vowel choices, etc. Nothing technically written "wrong", per se, just odd to look at sometimes. These issues aside, best Tengwar app on the market.

i love this app for quick transliteration and sharing script online. however, i really want to be able to edit the transcription tables, as some of the rules used are not correct/to my liking (ie. no underdot for silent e, double consonants, nasalization, final -s etc). even better would be the option for a bespoke TEHTA KEYBOARD for those of us who Know tengwar and just need a way to write it

Mind your Ps and Qs! Haha :) In Sindarin mode p and q both are transliterated as p. Also, S mode doesn't know to automatically merge the English qu digraph into just q. In Quenya mode I have to second the many comments below regarding the overuse of the short vowel carrier, and lack of the underbar for doubled consonants (dev: need graphite enabled fonts?).

There were quite a few problems with the transcriptions, particularly with vowel carriers and double consonants. I tried to transcribe NY names in Sindarin and Quenya (Cillendor and Torcillon), and both had errors even when using the correct modes. That said, I am very glad that this app exists. Hopefully the creator will continue updating and improving this app.

Id like to thank not only god, but jesus and good ol' JRR that i found this app (haha, just kidding)... SO HELPFUL and works perfectly! And the elvish is completely correct (to my fairly extensive knowledge)

Very convenient to use. I must suggest correction that in Quenya mode, all vowels following consonants are supposed to be represented with diacritics (tehta) above the consonant, instead of full tengwar which are used for vowels preceeding consonants or standalone. Just like Sindarin, English and Black Speech, but reversed.

As Abe Boschen states, there are some flaws in the translation. Used in English mode the second vowel carriers have to be removed, there is no underpoint for silent 'e'. Any resulting text has to be modified but it is neat, easy to use and recommended. I'm looking forward to a means by which we can edit the tables. Please??

It a nice app, am very pleased with it, I just wish it can also change English to Elvish language itself not the words

In Sindarin Classic mode, the symbols of Z and K are misplaced with each other. When I write z, it writes k and so on. This should be fixed, along with other problems that I do not remember at the moment.

The vowels should be placed above the consonants, but instead most of them are placed above the 'i' that should be used sometimes but not as much as it is used..

This transcriber is definitely awesome. Different modes and fonts, some phrases and even info pages for modes. Definitely worth 5 stars.

I am a fan of Tolkien and would love to learn more of the reading, writing, and pronunciation. Until then, this is great for a small personal family project I'm doing. Thank you very much for your app.

The c comes up as a kw, k comes up as a ss and double consonants should have a - symbol above or below the letter

Having different options for both mode and font is great. Of course, in English mode the double constants and ending e & s not showing properly is a little annoying, but not enough to make me not use the app.

This app writes "tulë" in Quenya mode with tinco alone, then carrier with 'u', then lambe alone, then carrier with 'e'. That is most definitely not Quenya mode. Quenya is written with vowel diacritics over the preceding tengwar.

This App is the first one that uses the rules correctly and especially ALL OF THEM.

It's the best translating app ever! I just want to know how to pronounce and a Sindarin and Quenya keyboard that would be great!!

This is by far the best elvish app yet. Will there be any pronunciation help later on? That would make it the ultimate!

Can u make it so u can copy/paste the transcribed text? Idk if it's possible but that would make it even better
