This is what journalism should be written like with details stories with the way you are able to touch a link to previous stories about the subject. I know that newspapers are on the decline because of being on the go but with a digital version of the Tennessean they didn't cut down on information it got better, I have all of the different news from the national but when it comes to the Tennessean they cover the neighborhood, local, state and national. Good job! G.Davis
Pathetic!! I am a long term Tennessean subscriber who is entitled to get this content at no additional charge but all of the sudden this app which I have had on my phone for several years will not let me login unless I pay for the content. I am ready to cancel my entire subscription. I would rate it minus 5 stars if that was an option. No wonder the newspaper industry is going out of business.
Nice app but had to turn off notifications as it seems football is the only thing that goes on in Tennessee and I will never care about that. A feature to turn off notifications or stories that are meaningless would be nice.
Absolutely agree that as a paid subscriber continually being blocked from articles and being asked to subscribe is a deal breaker. It's especially irritating that there's not a login option on that subscription page. Hope an update is coming soon or I will cancel my subsctiptoon.
Whatever was done in the last update completely broke the app. Articles will not load and I get the same no internet or wifi error seen by others. I've been thinking about thinking about ending my subscription anyway due to the high prices but this just about assures it.
The app is a rip off and I've canceled my digital subscription while still in trial and they have continued to charge my acct. I don't recommend this app at all. My prior review got deleted! Don't waste your money!
I can't understand why the app is blocking me, a subscriber for over three decades, from accessing certain articles after I've logged in. I can access them on my laptop when logged into the Tennessean website. Why won't the app let me view them?
Horrible app. Everytime I want to read an article I have to sign in. Multiple times a day. Seriously considering canceling my subscription. Get it together! This is not a banking app.
Even for paying subscribers pop-ups that move your text when you're reading. . Ads that will not let you scroll. Not a very good experience at all.
App continually requires new sign in, randomly. Very irritating. No response when emailed them. Newspaper is good, app is poor.
I have an active subscription, but the app is blocking me from subscriber content. Customer service at The Tennessean was useless in helping me with this problem.
Articles don't load, weekend "Things to Do" is a month old. Says I don't have an internet or wifi connection when every other application on my phone works.
Although I have a print subscription, about half the time it won't let me read an article unless a sign up for a new subscription. Very frustrating.
Such a failure! It offers to see a grocery ad if you download the app. No ads to be found! Dont bother! Deleting the app.
My wife already subscribes to the daily home delivery and has paid for this with an annual payment, yet I continue getting billed for this online edition.
Can't read digital access E Edition most of the time. Also, I get Sunday printed addition 1/2 the time and always in afternoon all the time. How can I give more than 1 star?
We really enjoy and appreciate the coverage and safety our Ring units provide. It is reassuring to be able to see what's going outside our home, especially at night. Thanks
The main problem with this app is having to sign in all the time. It's always been a bit of a problem, but it has gotten worse recently.
Cannot keep signed in, must sign in every time the app is opened.
App will not load articles. Constantly get loading error.
Good info but sometimes it takes a while to load.
Both this app and the print edition app are being rejected by Google for an invalid or missing SSL certificate.

Canceling my subscription because of them trying to "stoke" a race war with today's headline on a story that nonrevelent to our state. Gannett has accepted money from a Soros Foundation to divide our country. Look it up!
impossible to figure out how to report missed delivery
Glitchy. It flashes strobe-like whenever I try to open it on my own. It only seems to open properly when I click on a link in an email
