Tennis Champs Returns

Great game, but two minor problems. It would be nice to have the score on screen during a point rather than just before the serve. Also sometimes the hawk eye system gets it wrong, usually when serving down the centre line. I've had several occasions where the ball is clearly out on the replay, but it's been called in on review. Still 5 stars though!

Cant detect controllers on Nvidia Sheild properly. Some times it picks up all 4, sometimes only one is detected. I have 2x wireless and 2x wired. Makes playing with friends or even the wife a coin toss as we never know if the controllers are going to be detected. Other than that, great game

Look its clear this game was designed as a pay to play. Then made free to play entirely because the AI straight up just grief you. If they are a higher level you will need max energy and will win 1 out of 100 game svs that perosn. Basically play lower tournaments you will win. Play higher you wont. Sounds simple right. But if you time every shot despite being lower stats than the AI you will miss or hit net on a perfect shot. Showing there is no skill. Just stats. Why even let us control them

Game freezes a lot . Also my players dissapear and get changed for another player. I can't get them back . game is getting hacked into by the look's of it , best to avoid it altogether. The game used to work fine with no issues.

This was an absolute waste of money. The on screen controls are awful and sometimes unresponsive, the actual touch mode is awful. The only time the controls were halfway decent was when I used a controller.

unbelievable physics but touch control mode's ai is poor. i maxed both agility and speed but my player's running ai dont thinks she is capable of. needs improvement. gameplay is so realistic and playable. buy it

Wow.. I've read a review in a games blog claiming that Tennis Champs is the best "oldschool/pixel" Tennis game ever created..and indeed this is true!! My favorite oldschool Tennis game used to be "Wimbledon Tennis" on Sega Game Gear, but this one beats it! I guess most people who don't like it must be born after the Amiga/NES/SNES/Sega era and just aren't used to this kind of slower and very challenging Tennis game.. (no, it's definitely not as "user friendly" as Virtua Tennis 😉 )

One of these stupid games where you MUST complete the tutorials before you are allowed play on tour or play career mode. Bad idea. What was the Dev thinking? Follows that the rest of the app is filed with similarly stupid decisions. Uninstalled in under 30 mins. Look for another tennis game.

It's a good game the controls and training modes can be better. My main issue is when I save my career, close the app and come back I lose my progress.

Really loving this game. Good depth and attention to detail. Easy to pick up and good incentive to progress and collect extra skills. Glad to have paid to support the developers.

The game is ruined for the lack a decent D-pad or its behavior. One touch left / right makes the player keep running to the direction touched. It's so annoying

The automatic movement is so bad, in the second tutorial, I juts go straight to the net and makes it impossible to hit.

when it doesn't want you to win, you get nerfed. thats it. the amount of bad calls, you'd think the umpires had been bribed. d-pad is a huge letdown. does not respond 2 in 10 times. fed-up. uninstalled. regret buying. not worth the emotional investment.

Don't even bother. It is very clear this game was intended to be riddled with microtransactions. If the game does not want you to win a match, it will nerf you to aggravating levels. Outperforming the nerf? Well be prepared to have some of your inputs outright ignored by the game. Skill will not let you advance in the game any faster, it's just a grindfest that'll make you annoyed.

Controls don't work on Google pixel xl 4. Unplayable even in the tutorial. Back to the drawing board, team

Fun and challenging, but very repetitive. Once you play through a season there really isn't much more to do.

Great game! Oddly reminiscent of Sega Genesis days. Controls are rough as it becomes harder but controller gameplay is awesome!

Surprisingly the most in-depth (in terms of gameplay) tennis game on android. Highly underrated.

Easily my most played game, difficulty is too easy now, please somehow make it harder
