Tennis TV - Live ATP Streaming

More bugs than features in this app. Each time it stops playing seconds after it starts unless I immediately switch to Chromecast, which is therefore the only way to watch the matches !!! And now audio no longer works on Chromecast… This app is a nightmare, I only use it when it is the only broadcaster and I have no choice !!!

I've been a suscriber for years and when it works, the App is good...but it frequently doesn't work. It seems that new versions and upgrades are released before they've been throughly debugged. Also, it seems that backwards compatibility is not a high priority :-/ The English commentary is tops though and the range of videos available is amazing. Only two stars because I was really looking forward to watching live tennis on New Year's day but, predictably, the new version isn't working.

Just logged on to the web app and all seems to have changed, I seem to have been switched to a free account with extra payment required to watch 'premium' events. I won't be bothering with this as Amazon Prime has just about all the stuff that tennis TV delivers plus the ladies matches. The app itself doesn't seem to work anyway, nice to have been informed of the changes (not).

Stopped working on all my devices. Zero tech help. They say if you cancel your subscription, you do not get a refund, they just won't automatically renew your subscription when it is up for renewal next year or whenever. Really? Worked good for me for two years, but unusable now and I just threw $120 out the window. Update 12/26/2021 -. The app has now completely vanished from the LG TV app store with no way to re- install. Have sent 3 help requests in to tennis tv email address. No response.

Overall it works fine, but I have one gripe. The app itself has no settings whatsoever. I find it annoying that i can't disable vibration when I receive notifications, yet there are plenty of apps that have made this possible....for years. It's inexcusable to still see apps that don't give you this option. Yes, it's a minor gripe, but I want the phone to vibrate when I actually set it in that mode. Other than that, most of the streams are in great quality.

I am using it on MI Android TV 55 inch. Love the video quality. Two issues that I noticed without much effort 1. Once the video start, clicking the navigation keys on the remove does not bring the seek slider on. I do not see any change on the screen, as though no signals are being sent to the video. 2. After few minutes the screensaver comes on. I have to relaunch the app and the replay starts again from the beginning. I have subscribed for a month. In case the above issues are not fixed in a month's time, I'll unsubscribe, as the app adds no value to the user.

Every single time I try to use the app, there is an issue. Since the latest update there appears to be no option to use Chromecast whatsoever, which is the main way I want to watch tennis; TV screen is much preferable to phone. There's a great range of content but accessing it conveniently is nigh on impossible. I will be requesting my subscription money back as it is just unfathomable how bad the app is for what is paid every year.

In all honesty there are so many bugs and quirks that using this app becomes annoying. Things like: - Being told that you do not have a subscription(this also keeps happening on the website!) - Getting errors when wanting to be notified about an upcoming match you want to watch - Not being able to control sound when casting from mobile devices There's probably more but it would be so much more worth it if at least some of the long overdue problems would actually be fixed.

I've had this for a long time. Two weeks ago the picture blurs, Pixelates, and looks some kind of screen or filter used. Contacted tech by email. All troubleshoot from my end has not fixed the problem. I wonder if I have latest version. I download version 3.2 build 2. Techs have been unresponsive. It's frustrating.

The streaming apsect of the app works well, and I very much like having the replay feature as I can't always watch live. The chromecasting needs some work. I have had casting stop in the middle of a stream, casting initialized without sound nad it is always difficult to return to the point at which it died. Please improve the robustness of the casting. Also the player would benefit significantly from a feature where touching the timeline would position the playback to that point.

I subscribed for one month. then I wanted to cancel my next automatic renewal. I managed, but, suddenly I have been kicked out of the app completely despite the fact I paid a subscription 2 hours before. Frustrating:). Advantage : the support team solved it quickly, but I lost my time contacting them etc. Secondly, there is no sound on the live streams. Is this normal? I feel stolen. waste of 💰.

The latest update turned the usability to lowest levels when watching live matches: The "full screen" button is gone (I do not keep the auto rotate on in my device, so now I have to activate it in advance) and the controls to switch to another match is also gone when in full screen mode, so now I have to leave the match and find another match if that's my choice. come on guys, I'm happy you're working to make improvements but please keep the great features that were already in the app!!

For an app that I pay a subscription for, it's quite bad. It has one function to satisfy, play a video, and it does so poorly. First, it never remembers my credentials and logs me out frequently even if I always click remember me. This is annoying. I always have to log in. Second, the video app is awful. Cursor jumps when I touch it to scroll, there's no timestamp shown, there's no marking on beginning of sets, there's no fast forward 10/20/30 seconds like YouTube. I have to guess the time.

This is the worst app in the history of the smart phone era. It's highway robbery that this app charges. I have no issues with my internet at home, good, strong connection, but you would never know that from using this app. I can watch 3 seconds of live matches before it kicks me off. Sometimes there isn't sound. Classic matches don't load half the time. This app is embarrassing and pitiful. I don't even bother trying the Samsung TV version. Save yourselves the trouble and don't download this.

Live Streaming always has issues. Always crashing. Now after these latest updates, no sound on Live Stream altho it works on Replay. But the App keeps freezing my screen. On my laptop, there are also issues with just a blank black screen for several attempts before it finally loads. What is it with TennisTV that they just cant ever get this right? But it has never been this bad. The whole thing is broken! I've uninstalled and re-installed but still freezing my phone.

Extremely glitchy with minimal tech support and updates. Latest glitch is no sound on any match, live or recorded. Other nuisances include no support for chrome casting and an archaic search engine that only allows you to search for one keyword at a time, which is a problem because you need at least two keywords to find a specific match with two players. Additionally, the PlayStation app doesn't work at all, crashing every time you attempt to launch it. Overall, I'm very dissatisfied.

I love watching tennis so I got an annual subscription for ATP tour. The problem is thee app. It is the worst streaming app I have ever seen. It is unstable. Keeps crashing or freezing at the worst moments. In order to unfreeze the stream usually I have to force stop the app, then open it again. In some cases that is not enough and have to repeat it several times together with clearing the cache or even all data just to get it working again.. Come on guys just fix the app already!!!!

Zero ability to use Chromecast. Have reported this on numerous occasions. Got the usual cut and paste responses ( check your Chromecast etc ) eventually get an email saying they recognize the problem. This is an important feature. This is an Android App on Google and it does not work with Googles own Chromecast. This is why I gave you my money! Not to watch it on my phone screen. Please Fix.

On my new chromecast with google tv, I can not fast forward, rewind or pause, because the app doesn't respond arrow buttons. It works with a tv remote with dedicated pause, ff buttons Update on 5/2: with the new version, arrows work as ff/fr now. Thanks for the update! Can you please add the center of arrow as play/pause too? Otherwise the progress bar won't show up except the very beginning.

So far the app has the same experience as the web browser on a PC. Connection and streaming works flawlessly, but I tried only on WiFi, maybe on LTE the behaviour is different. Area where I hope to see improvements: * The app doesn't feel at like a native Android app. From the live page, I need to click at the bottom to get all the live matches, I would expect a smooth scrolling. * quickly finding matches/order of play is too long * Have draws of tournaments Hope to see that in the future!

I like the content, I like streaming quality, but everything else seems buggy and unfinished. As people already mentioned, Google TV doesn't allow any kind of pause/rewind/ff. Controls show up for a second when you start the stream or when you hit the back button but then goes away - definitely a bug. Being able to login through the phone on other devices would have been nice too, it's not fun to type out email address and password on multiple devices.

I've been using this almost 3 years. Suddenly chromecast which is the only way to do streaming on TV with ff, fb, and etc. I have android TV innstalled this but it only allow FF things at the beginning since no way to get the trackng bar again. Screencast is the only way to do on TV but depending on the phone, full screen (my one shows smaller than actual TV) is not supported.

Finally managed to locate the new version of Tennis TV in the App Store, but it says "Your device isn't compatible with this version." So you just change requirements without regard for your existing customers? I am a long time subscriber and user of the old app, and now I can't even install the new one. What's worse is nowhere does it say what the required specs are. Fix this so it's usable!

I feel bad about giving a negative rating, because older version used to work great. With the recent update, I have not been able to watch a single match. Every stream I open closes in error. I am not even able to sign in without errors. I keep getting notificatications that the app has crashed even if the app wasn't open. I am so surprised that a paid service would ever release an app that is so unusable. Please update with a fix, its not fair to your paying customers.

I'm afraid I need to add to the pile of bad reviews. While I love the content, my main grief is with the Android tv Version of this app which doesn't seem to support seeking or other forms of playback control during replay. To make matters worse, the app doesn't remember where I previously left a replay and always restarts playback from the beginning. Also it doesn't support sharing playback status across device thus it is not possible to start playback on one device and continue on another.

My chromecast works fine with other apps but not this. I've written in twice now and both times the reply has been install google home app and check you have the latest version of the app and chromecast. I do and this still won't cast. It does work when I use the google home app but then I have to have the tennis playing on this as well at the same time. Not user friendly at all...
