It never connected as a wifi extender even with the instructions. Never was able to launch it and I am an it specialist, the app is worthless in my opinion, but the antenna works fine.
The app hasn't changed in years. At the moment it seems to work when it wants to. When it does work, it does aa advertised.
This app doesnt do anything but kick me out, it tells me to. He k the connecting device. That's not enough to try and trouble shoot a problem.
The wifi xtend really works, great wifi signal in rooms that had no signal before, works great outside. It's simple, just follow the directions
Fails - says connected device error. Does not allow to get to any option to connect anything.
works fine. had to play with it for awhile until i found out it was working. follow instructions carefully and it works.
Kept saying to check device connected to extender. Nothing was connected.
can never get clear channels they break up and say no signal found.
It probably works, it won't let me connect to the router though.

Got this 2 days ago and what a piece of junk. Antenna does work but it's not working any better than purchasing cheap one. I got more channels with my old $20 antenna than what I have now with this one that costed me $69. App does not work as it closes automatically with error connect message as soon as application opens. Definitely not worth what I payed for it. Disappointed I ever bought this piece of junk.
I get an error that says please check device connected to the extender. Then it closes. Can't use. Purchased an antenna I can only use half the features. Hd reception is great though. App is useless so far. And after toying with it and also of course no one being available for support. This app is useless everything has to be done through the browser. Good antenna, useless app
I guess the app is as good as the antenna because neither works. App says error and closes right away. What a scam. I called 800 number for support and my call is in que, so I'm waiting on a call back. I will file a customer complaint with the Better Business Bureau, this is all about scaming people in hopes after you buy it you won't return it.
To the Developers of THIS particular app...I would recommend improving the application to have a separate "ROUTER SETTINGS" Option from that of the original. Tho it is a booster there are no real options to improve the boost i.e, (channel switching, refresh, static ip). Would be nice to implement those features. Let's see how good your tech team is...or are they still stuck in the past and can't improve to get with the times of today and the future? (Which is ever changing)
I wish the antenna had better range, but it's decent. The WiFi extender works well. All the people saying it doesn't work probably didn't follow the directions. You have to connect your device to the antenna BEFORE opening the app or it won't work.
I have bad signal unless at window now with it set up in my one good WiFi spot I can use it to have WiFi anywhere in house.. it works fine it gets bad stars for user error or believing it will speed up your wifiif you have crap internet it will broadcast crap signal
App does not work on my phone thus I can't connect the wifi extender to any wifi spots.
This works great for wifi extending..mine is placed outside, i have it protected in a shoe box mounted on a wooden fence. im in the high desert area of california.. it lasted thru a 115 degree average summer, and it was 17 degrees the other night and it didnt falter. it has needed to be restarted and reset randomly, which is frustrating. although i had a really long stretch of time this last time.. but its down again. i get the same error message "connect device to terk xtend".
