Terminal Commander
Terminal Commander is an analog of GNU Midnight Commander. The application supports features such as:
- visual file management: allows you to copy, move and delete files and whole directory trees;
- display meta information about selected file;
- open files using one of pre-installed programs;
- run several commands in the sub-shell.The program supports convenient and concise interface with two navigation bars. Background color, text size, file type indication and other features can be customized by settings.

This is the most accurate mc-like app I've found besides tediously installing mc on a Terminal Emulator.

the terminal is nice, but no root. I like the layout, but miss many options. like viewing a file, creating text, dirinfo, a.m.more basics.

Useless without root ability .. seriously
