IT started out amazing! All of a sudden after so many hours the app uninstalls itself but says it's still there on my phone but deleted all memory that went into coding and programming. Ive tried to install the app on G.P. and downloading a APK file. All it does is complete the download just so I can't open any of the apps anymore. This is very very irritating. Would be 5 starts otherwise.
This makes the more interesting to use but I can't seem to get the termux-infrared-transmit command to work, I want to use it to make a IR remote for my tv, but I'm having trouble using it I have read the instructions but there not quite clear I keep getting too few argument and too many arguments errors, Is there something I'm missing. P.S I'm trying to transmit tv IR codes from remote central.
The only reason I got this was to send SMS messages using Tasker. I got it working just fine before they updated it to deactivate. Hours of configuring and development wasted. The developer still has it described as an available feature in the description but the API docs state it's no longer available.
Radical radishes of radness. Supports many things, gets along with them, all and all a nice fellow. When the GUI of applicable OS is being a lumpy pain in the whazoo, all compartmentalised, but not in a helpful way, well apt search the manual pages the hell out of there.
I cannot install Termux-API Package for some reason... $ apt install termux-api Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done Package termux-api is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source.
lots of sensor functionality which is great. Dont use this for anything camera based because the camera functionality is very unreliable.
I cannot get the termux-notification to proceed from phone to my smartwatch. There is a list of allowed notifiers, among which are Termux but no Termux:API. I think It could a naming issue only. So if it were named Termuxapi, it would work.
The best. I love this program! Allows you to actually control your phone's hardware and software!! Amazing. No Root required.
I am not even able to install it. I put it on download and it directly shows the sign to uninstall and even it doesn't open at all,worst app ever. I am trying from a month π‘

I try to install api in termux but its showing something went wrong fix the problem Or find easy way. Even i try commond api in termux it termux dont give me any response also. Actually its not installing
ok once you figure out how to get it working, still figuring out what to do with a Linux Terminal in Android... I strongly suggest a Bluetooth Keyboard to use this.
It would be great if Google hadn't made them remove SMS. I:d like to ssh to a phone upstairs where there's service over WiFi and chat via SMS.
I use this extension mostly to access the system clipboard, but the extras are nice too.
I know this app is great, main problem is the instalation is way too complex, but hey, part of linux culture is making sure everything is more complex and un-userfriendly than it has to be. Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
Making extensions not free but publishing a hard to compile code isn't very fair. Plus new Google requirements make this app efficientless have to download old version from the github releases.
Currently showing no output for any commands except 'termux-info' on android 6.0.1 and 5.1.1. Edit: it appears that calls to 'termux-dialog' lead to the api becoming unresponsive.
It is not run in userland and termux is not Properly run in Android 10 please do some things about that things

The app fails to install, GPS provides no proper error code. Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro, MiUI Global 12.0.3 Stable (Android 10) Kernel 4.14 And yes, I have plenty of space
Those saying termux doesn't work aren't right.. They no longer update their app on Playstore.. Go to their official website for latest versions
Google have blocked the SMS API for this app. Ideally they'd unblock it like they have for Signal etc. but meanwhiles it needs to come out of the app description!
Great programming app for smartphones which supports a wide range of languages, libraries and packages including Python, Jupyter Notebbok, Pandas, Matplotlib, Numpy etc.

A friend was using this app and works perfectly for him but when I downloaded the app, if initiate commands to set it up it fails.
The API is very good one But an issue with termux-media-player why dont it stop playing music even after we exit termux from notification
Not bad at all . Lacks connectivity with other programs installation but very good .

It instructs users to download additional repositories, don't! It'll fail regardless and advise you to get the upgraded app from the website. There's a reason the app isn't in the Play store except that it is in the Play store. Take my word or try it for yourself just make sure to report it when you realize how bad nonsense like this has damaged not only smartphones but the internet altogether. We have companies like this to thank!
