Termux:Tasker
1. Create a new Tasker Action.
2. In the resulting Select Action Category dialog, select Plugin.
3. In the resulting dialog, select Termux:Tasker.
4. Edit the configuration to specify the executable in ~/.termux/tasker/ to execute, and if it should be executed in the background (the default) or in a new terminal session.
NOTE: This is an add-on app which requires both Termux and Tasker (or a Tasker-compatible app) to use.

I am giving one star because I hope it gets the attention of the developer: when you install termux as an apk (0.118.0) the name of that package conflicts with the name of termux:Tasker (and vice versa).
Every time I click the edit configuration button, it says "No ~/.termux/tasker directory" although the directory already exists. I made it inside of termux.
I couldn't make it work because i hadn't turned on accessibility for Tasker. New phone and forgot. I'm loving the apps from this Dev.
Simple, yet one of the most complete and solid apps out there. This add-on is simply the cherry on top.
Followed all the instructions, but script did not get executed, just a blank termux window pops up.
Its a excellent app... but developers should provide document about how to use...

Dont care for termux in general... its crude and half the pkgs dont work properly... just installing and wastimg space

I haven't come up with a use case for this yet but am excited for the possibilities of Tasker calling termux scripts. Very happy to support the development of the best Android terminal ever.
This should've been the first tasker plugin I installed. Its super intuitive. Need an app setting changed and force restart the app to commit the changes? Set a task to execute the sh script you wrote. Basic
Seems to work. But like Josh pointed, it needs a good documentation to be really useful for a newbie. I'm trying to run a nodejs script via Tasker + Termux and I'm having lots of issues.
I don't use the Tasker api much, mostly bought this to support the developers :)
I use termux to rsync backup my SD card. This task allows me to schedule regular runs.
Love termux on DeX
Now that I can pass Tasker variables to shell scripts instead of relying on the clipboard I'd say this plugin is perfect.
This used to work great but has stopped working for some reason. The script is no longer run when the task is triggered.
Just learning Termux & Tasker. The learning curve is steep. Purchased with the intent of passing ffmpeg command and parameters to Termux from Tasker. Finally achieved exactly what I needed! Had to uses two scripts. Don't know how pretty it is, but it works!
I have a problem with installing. Error -505. it's the same with the Float addon. I've already tried restarting and clear the cache. I'm running the latest Android (7.1.1) on my Nexus 6P. Also from the Webbrowser it seams the app is already installed.
I have a problem I always get permission denied I tried to Chmod but it also got denied
My scripts run fine from within termux, but whenever tasker calls them there is a shebang error. It's documented this is an error online, but the developer hasn't fixed the problem or responded to the posts I've seen. I wouldn't care if this were a free app, but if the developer is confident enough to charge for their work they need to actually support their work.
