Terra Battle

In my opinion, still unmatched as far as mobile games go. A gem of game design, with top notch graphics and sounds. Events were super fun. Even the gacha was done just better than elsewhere, although it could be grindish to remove each unit from the pool through maxing luck. Anyways, cherry on the top, fantastic community. I'm reviewing years late but it's better than never, I guess. ^^

This game continues to be great, despite being out for so long. The removal of recoded characters from the pool is bit of good and bad, but I think it's for the best. I have noticed that there isn't any release of new content, seeing as the game is rather old. I'm not complaining as long as the servers stay up, becuase the game is still great fun. The characters are very charming and it's easier to get high-tier characters than ever with the ads. The gameplay is so unique too, I really love it!

Feels like a half-finished game. The main gameplay loop is actually really cool, but the presentation is awful. It's difficult to get immersed in a game where the story is presented through intermittent lines of text and lifeless, motionless art. If you don't really care about that sort of thing, the strategy elements are fun and fresh

This was my most favourite game on mobile. It saddens me to see it go. It's like loosing an old friend. Still holding out hope that it will return as a mobile side game rather then server side. Even if I would have to start it from scratch, pay for it in app store, would download it in an instant. Thank you for the great unforgettable gaming experience.

A very well made game, with poor progression. Despite the very complex skill involved in playing, it quickly becomes a grind to level your heroes, as the reward flow slows to a crawl. Every level takes a fair bit of time (like 15 min) and energy to beat, and all you get out of each is like, 1% experience and another sentence of the story.

Slow and Tedious gameplay. It puts up a facade of strategy but it's focused on buying overpowered characters. If your device dies it is impossible to transfer data to a new device. however, there are achievements and connects to Google Play. I don't understand why the developers didn't link your data to your Google Play account.

Great game. I original played years ago but after trying to come back found out that it's unplayable now in UK. So I lost my account which had many hours and a few micro transactions. I started a new account on USA server and really enjoying it again. I've not spent any money this time. I did start the game many times, completing the first stage to make sure I only carried on when I pulled a SS. Progression has been good and with watching vids got a few more SS. Shame this is closing in Dec 19.

Always loading. I am on wifi whenever I play. Anytime i click on anything, i get the "connecting..." message. If i changed nothing, it might last 10 seconds. If I actually try to equip or summon, it can last a few minutes. This game is broken and unplayable. I have also just started to see units stopping themselves during combat, killing my move. On a Samsung J7.

Interesting concept, awful execution. Progression is dull and painfully slow, and boards dont get harder so much as more painfully unfair. Movement system is the most interesting aspect, but seems like it was made for a move point system and a d pad. The conversion to a touch-and-time based system wrecks it. No story to speak of. Solid meh.

This is a great game! Been playing for about 3 or 4 years and I've never run into a problem. Today however, on my Samsung Galaxy S8+, the whole UI seems to be made smaller and the top third of my screen isn't being used. I'm sure its just a small bug since 5.5 came out but I just wanted to put it out there just in case.

Unique Playstyle! I love it! Story is interesting and the gameplay is different from most turn based rpgs, however one issue is keeping it from 5 stars...everytime I complete a mission it freezes on the results screen and I have to close the app and start it again then select continue where the app "unexpectedly quit" it's not the worst thing but those unnecessary 30 seconds just hurt

Love this game. I've came back to this game 3 times and hopefully to finish it. It's unfortunate the game ended already but I still want to collect all or many of the characters if i can before the game shutsdown. The game is very generous so you don't have to spend money if you take your time, but if you can, it'll support the developer!

The gameplay was too clumsy for me. When trying to move a character they constantly stopped short of where I was trying to place them even before time ran out. Also, while I'm a fan of the company and glad this game took up very little space, it was rather dull and got repetitive fast.

Pretty unique game with a fun strategic battle system and some awesome visuals and music from the people who gave us Drakengard and Final Fantasy. The story is intriguing and it's fun collecting all the various characters. I apprecaite the game's gacha elements are not as obvious as other games I've played.

I really enjoyed the game. That being said it does get grindy and some of the challenges seem nigh impossible at times. The combat mechanic is wholly unique. But for some reason the game feels lonley. I would suggest taking a look.

Underrated little gem on the app store. Great battle mechanics. Story, art and music is a masterpiece. Sure, it is a bit grindy, but it's good that the microtransactions (which is just energy and stamina recharges from my knowledge) aren't in your face and required. I very much recommend giving this game a look.

I lost my account and was able to retrieve it within 24hrs. This game might be in limbo, it is still one of the few games I can play regularly. The system is fair and there are enough solutions for all stages. Best of the very best game apps still available and playable even it has ceased to be developed.

This game is very cool and fun. Just wish the story could be played offline. So happy its still being updated for bug fixes, the music is absolutely amazing. Creates such a peaceful place to go . Edit: sad to see it go but please atleast put the soundtrack on Google play music

This game is quietly sitting on the Play store. It's old. But great. The art is some of the best on mobile. Gameplay is puzzle based and a lot of fun. There's even an interesting narrative. The music alone is worth checking this game out for.

I just wanted to say great job guys ... The art , strategy , and story speak for themselves ... This game is challenging the whole time and makes u feel like u earn your GOLD and XP... each level can take a while until u develope a team and learn how to use there skills well... Thanks guys I love it!

Found this game through the Final Fantasy XV event quest collab (I'm late to the party, I know) and decided to give this game a chance. So far, its REALLY good. I like the music, the strategy elements, and the character design. Its a shame that this game is going to end June 30th, I really enjoyed this game a LOT.

Hironobu Sakaguchi produced this? Nobuo Uematsu did the music? No wonder this game is so awesome, even after starting fresh all over again from three years ago. The microtransactions are much better than three years ago since you can now watch a video once per day for a chance at a good character or companion draw now. I like it even more now than then! Keep it up, Sakaguchi-san! You're a legend in this biz! Final Fantasy games just haven't been the same since you left Square.

I'm heartbroken that they are discontinuing this game on June 30th. This has been my go to safe game for years, I play it whenever I'm sick or bored or upset. The music, cool atmosphere, neat characters, and interesting tactics have always captured my attention. I'm sorry they are shutting it down, and I want to thank Mistwalker for working on it all this time. You made a great game and even if it's over now, I'm really happy I got to play it. Thank you very much for everything.

When a mobile game shutdown its like losing a friend. Now, that Terra Battle has shutdown it like losing a best friend. I have been around to see many mobile games get shutdown. Was even around when Terra Battle 2 got shutdown. I have played this game for 5 years, have to start over twice. But, always came back to this game. This was a great mobile game. The music was calming on worst day and gameplay was fun on a good day. This game will be missed. There now a hole where the game used to sit.

its battery friendly & have very good tunes but the boardgame mechanics just isnt cool. You have to flank enemies with your pieces and line them up a certain way to max dmg. Its simple but perhaps too much. The ost is really good though what a shame.

Different coming from one of the best Video game developers and musicians in the industry. Battle system is weird and new but once you get the handle of it with the abilities and effects you quickly fall in love.
