This is a map for a game on a differen't system, it is not a game. It is not working and constantly freezes the app and while everything else on my phone is working. I think this app is trash, especially because in console and computer versions of terraria their is a minimap you can use and a full sized map, so this app is basically useless unless it's main use is for freezing itself.
I am signed into my ps4, and have Terraria pulled up and running, even in the world that I'm going to play on. I signed into the app with my PSN Account, I opened the app and clicked connect to PS4, clicked my PS4 and the app loads into a black screen and sits there for about 30 seconds then crashes. Fix and will rate better
It is a good app for Terraria but a small change would be nice like the person on the phone could be like a ghost that can't interact with anything but could be used as a light source as an alternative way to play with your friends. Or when no one is controlling the ghost the plyer can use this as a quick inventory with nine slots of quick usage. It can even be used to put on cheats. Before the cheats are actavated, it saves, as during the rest of the session achevements and lederboards are deactavated. And when you leave it will go to the save before you turned on the cheats. Please? Thanks
it works!! all you haters are talking to the creators of terraria if you didnt know. it glitched for me once but srriously people. they put work into terraria and their other games so dont be mad about something. plus its play station and xbox not pc and mobile.
Doesn't work at all for S5 Neo. It says sign in for Psn network success, then the app either bounces that message back and forth and opens about 15 tabs in your browser of choice, or, it accepts the sign in, then black screens the phone and freezes continually. 1 star until this is fixed. Utterly useless.
Lots of one stars, no comment. I assume these people thought this was the terraria game for mobile and didn't understand its function. This is a mini map to accompany ps4/xbone terraria. A handful of "didn't work" and some more "please add support for outdated consoles".
I'm on xbox one but whencictryvto connect it it just keeps loading saying there is no console avalible
Omfg ok the haters are just made that they can't make a good game that makes it to ps4 and if you don't agree well fun you.
Just fired it up so much easier then pulling up map screen especially while tunneling or treasure hunting.
Well I was able to connect to my Xbox 1 just fine. It took a moment to load but it came up. I was hoping for more from this app though. At the very least being able to find ores or even set way points. But for what it is it is an ok app.
You should make it also for mobile like you have a phone then you have a separate tablet , ipad or phone and use it like that. If you did it like that it would be awsome
Plz fix this bug, my phone goes into a black screen for a minute when I try to connect to my ps4 (which is running terraria) and then the app crashes
So i tried this companion app when i first d'loaded it a few months ago and it just said 'waiting for map'...i uninstalled, loaded up Terraria on my XB1 today and tried the app again and to my surprise its still doing the same thing, it never connects no matter whose name I try...According to nearly every review i read on here for many months it appears everyone is experiencing this issue. Does no one care to address this issue? It honestly doesnt deserve a single star as it has never worked for a long time
Evrey lime I use it on my nook it just freezes and says terraria companion map isn't responding
I don't know why u guys are hating this so much. I have Terraria on the Xbox one and this app works just fine for it
It only shows ps4 and Xbox 1 and I need xbox 360 so I'm going to say terraria is an awesome game but this app is not
Just got an Xbox 1 and app won't show map. If it won't work, there in no point having it. Android version 5.1.1
It would be 5 star if it had xbox360 and ps3 not everyone can afford an xbox one or ps4
pls put some mobile because i'm playing in mobile i need map pls i well give you 5 star if there's a mobile
I don't know 100% what this thing does but I think its good because it is from 505Games.
If looking at a "connecting to console" screen is your idea of fun, its great. if however you are looking for a usable app, dont waste your time.
it's very helpful for people on Xbox one or ps4 but I didn't 5 star because after 5 minutes it stops showing where I'm at or what happening on the map(mining or building).
App works just fine. That said I had the PlayStation app already so I was already connected when I started this app.
When trying to connect to ps4 app black screens then crashes out. Won't work.
As a terraria console player it's such a hassle to constantly check the map. Such a great app
There's one thing that could make this better. World edit. If you could edit the world you're in, that would be cool. Like, if someone used the phone, to play as god, and the other person/people played on the console, it could be really fun, like god and humans, something me and my friends do with Minecraft.(no, it's not actually in Minecraft, we just play our minigame cause y not) It would be really cool. Cannot connect 2 different devices. Samsung tablet just gives error message when I select Connect to PS4 OR Sign in as a different user. Samsung S6 I get to adding the device to the PS, enter the code and it just freezes. Curious whether these issues are related to the Terraria update or if it's just something wrong on my end.
